Last week, I stopped at Glendora Auto Sound to look at having an updated stereo and a rear backup camera installed. I choose this place because it had good reviews. I spoke to Francisco and pick out the stereo and camera. Once I choose the equipment, Francisco said it would take around four hours to install. I made the appointment for today, Tuesday August 09, 2022 at 10:00 AM. I arrived few minutes early before 10:00 AM and dropped off my car. I returned at 4:15 PM and I was informed that my car was not ready because he was busy all day and was working on several cars at a time. I became upset because I did not receive any calls requesting additional time to complete the installation. He said my car would be ready in four hours but was given over six hours and he did not even start the work. read more

Came into the shop with a Mickey moused after market system. Informed the bros that I know nothing about aftermarket audio and no idea of the state of the 'system' in my new car. Francisco informed me that all I needed was an amp and to rewire the front speakers and that everything else was in good condition. $200 later I am a happy customer with a new amp installed and a car that sounds great. Was referred to Glendora Auto Sound by my long time mechanic when I mentioned to him that I needed to install a special external blue tooth unit for my older model Acura. For a long time the factory hands free unit for my vehicle was disabled due to the fact that the unit would drain the battery. I then decided to look up Glendora Auto Sound on Yelp. Based on the other reviews I read regarding the service I decided to call and make an appointment. I was soon greeted by one of the owners Francisco who was very helpful, accommodating and fair in his pricing. He immediately looked up the proper unit that was compatible for my vehicle. Being a business owner and understanding the value in customer service myself, I appreciated Fransisco's time and effort. A few days later I came in to have the unit installed and I could not be more happier. The blue tooth unit had a built in micro-phone that allowed me to make and receive calls and listen to streaming music all wirelessly. I was even able to use many of the original buttons on the steering wheel and middle console of the vehicle XM input of the vehicle. The whole installation took about an hour or so and Francisco made sure all the features worked properly before I left the shop. Purchased an old 04 Xterra, but the speakers were blown out. I was apprehensive about finding a shop to work on it, seeing as it's an old car and I really just wanted to get it in working order...(Nothing fancy.) The shop was very straightforward and helpful. They fixed the wiring on the front speakers, which were still fine. The back speakers needed to be replaced, and they offered a VERY good set that was still affordable. I waited in the comfortable shop while they worked, and it was ready in no time. The sound has been amazing, and I was never pressured into a new stereo, or unnecessary add-ons. I brought it back a year later to fix a small issue with a cigarette lighter stealing stereo power, and it was a simple rewiring. I was worried about bringing it in, but they gave me the same quality service whether I was getting a cheap fix or all new speakers. I'd gladly recommend this shop to everyone. read more
