We truly appreciated the patience and ease of the initial design phase. The bathroom layout was challenging due to the space available. Kyle and Hannah offered multiple designs, met our questions and requests with a positive attitude and provided excellent suggestions. They worked with us until we got it just right. After the designs were set, the fun part of selecting materials began. What felt overwhelming was made easy and fun with the designer assigned to our project. Hannah was an absolute pleasure to work with. She has an excellent eye for color and space. The end result is a cohesive design that is pulled together with the design elements we chose. One word of advice for both Cornerstone and future customers, know your appliance selections before ordering cabinets. We weren't aware of the level of importance of this step. You would think that refrigerators have standard sizes but they don't. It's more general. Understanding what a 36" range looks like compared to a 48" range will make a big difference knowing what is then available for counter space and cabinet options. Design changes after cabinets are ordered are nearly impossible. For us, all appliances were available for delivery in about 3 weeks with the exception of the range, which wasn't available for 3 months. The kitchen was finished almost a month before the range arrived. Understanding when to place the order is helpful. Cornerstone recommends a local appliance company that is reputable and easy to work with. It took a couple of weeks to work through all of the options and make our choices. We started a little too late and experienced some frustration because of that. What impressed us most was the quality workmanship, professionalism and respect for our home shown by every Cornerstone employee and also every sub contractor provided for the project. We've had other smaller projects in our home and can't say the same. It's obvious that Cornerstone has high standards and expectations for anyone they send to their customer's homes. The end result for the bathroom, first floor flooring and kitchen is absolutely spectacular. Look at their instagram and you will see. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company to family and friends and already have.

After the GC we'd worked with for an ongoing 10-month long renovation had to step down due to a…read moremedical condition, we were at a loss as to how to finish our final major project. After several unsuccessful attempts to find someone knowledgeable and reliable to complete our home, we were lucky to find Alex and his team. Alex was very responsive to texts, email, or calls with any questions or concerns. He came by every day to check in as the scope of work was extensive. His team demo'ed a wall and replaced the handrails, stair treads, risers, and balusters on our both of our staircases. After 12 full days of work, we finally achieved the look and finish we wanted! I found his design to be original, functional and attractive. The work went along routinely with most of the work handled by in-house crews. I went with a second project with Ardo to redo my basement floor and remove mold. I stayed with Ardo principally due to the responsiveness and integrity shown by the owner Paul Arnold. The basement job was primarily done by outside contractors. Paul's oversight was first rate. My only criticism, not enough to dissuade, is the bidding generally is only to one sub. I will definitely use Ardo on future work in my home.

Atlas Moran Construction (AMC) helped us do a full kitchen renovation and some repairs in two of…read moreour bathrooms and a bedroom. Sean Moran, the owner, and the guys he works with did a great job with everything they helped us out with. There were a couple of things we were looking for in the contractor we would end up hiring. First, they had to be reasonably responsive with our understanding that we weren't their only clients. Sean was always very responsive. If he didn't immediately respond to a text/e-mail, or phone call, he would always get back to me within a few hours. Second, the contractor had to be very knowledgeable in that they could help us complete our vision, provide information that we requested, or feed us vital information that we overlooked but needed to know. Sean and his guys were always spot-on in their advice and definitely helped us understand what could work, what wouldn't, and what we should do taking into account our long-term plans for the house (potential rental down the line). Third, the estimated time to complete the work had to be reasonable. The times that Sean quoted were very reasonable and most importantly, they ultimately met all their timelines. I oversaw all their work and ZERO minutes were wasted during performance. Finally, the prices had to be competitive. We weren't exclusively entertaining the cheapest rates because when it comes to renovations, you really do get what you pay for. AMC's prices were extremely competitive, especially considering the amount of one-on-one attention we received during the entire process and the kind of experience and quality of work they bring to the table. This of course is generally an advantage of going with a smaller company. The renovations and repairs Atlas Moran Construction helped us out with turned out great. I should note that the renovations and repairs were completed through two different work projects, so obviously we were very happy with the first project that we went with them on the second one. We're currently looking at some complete bathroom renovations and you can bet that we're going with Sean and Atlas Moran Construction again! I recently called Alan at Click construction to look at my wood work and siding on my home. Since…read morethey built me a wonderful closet, I thought I would work with them again. Alan informed me he has been doing siding work for over 30 years. I looked at the color options, styles of siding and a material for my porch ceiling. The pricing was actually less than I thought so we worked in new vinyl porch rails as well. And they are beautiful. Just warm water will keep them clean, which is great. All of my eaves were closed in with white vented soffit material. The siding install manager was very attentive to all my questions. The job looks wonderful and I love the fact I am done worrying about painting it. Once again Click Construction performed well. And I recommend them highly and will have them do more work for me.

When my previously scheduled contractor fell through at the last minute, I scrambled to find another GC who could do the removal on short notice -- incredibly difficult, given that many are overwhelmed with work due to the pandemic! They were able to squeeze me in with less than a week's notice, and Marlon did the work in about an hour. Alan was very responsive over phone and email.

I was able to get other quotes from reputable contractors for half of what they wanted to charge me. I can't comment on the quality of their work as I did not hire them.
