Went on a Friday night around 11pm. It was mostly empty. Not sure if it was the weather (100+), the economy, or something else but that was surprising. Was that a red flag? Maybe, maybe not. In any case, I ordered the fish tacos and a couple of cocktails. First off the tacos were fine but they weren't what I was expecting. The slaw inside was really heavy and as such, the fish inside could have been more plentiful. It didn't match the amount of slaw that was stuffed in there. They were fine though, nothing bad just nothing great. Average. The drinks were average as well. I had a POG and a Lapu Lapu. They weren't bad but also weren't stellar. Just average. It was a drink. Service was also average. The girls didn't really seem happy to be there but also they weren't complaining or anything. They were just doing their jobs, not necessarily with a smile on their faces, just doing their jobs making drinks and serving food, nothing more. Atmosphere was average for a tiki bar. Nothing exciting, no special effects like you see in a lot of tiki bars these days. Just an average tropically decorated space. This is our second time to glitter gulch. As locals we couldn't be happier!!! The service has been impeccable both times. Very friendly and answered our questions about the drinks. Allison has been very gracious and helpful this visit! Both visits we've had delicious cocktails (Hawaii 5-0, Vegas vice, three rolls and a spin). But!! ...My new favorite is the na'cho whip (frothy, rummy, soooo tasty)! As tiki connoisseurs this makes us extreme happy!! The decor is perfect (tiki Ben need I say more!). What a nice surprise right off Fremont, so lucky to get street parking AND arrive during HH. Krista our mixologist was fabulous! Ok so this place is tucked away a little off of Fremont. We found the drinks not so good compared to The Tiki Bar in Excalibur. The tiki mugs are way too high here also! Forever on a hunt for a tiki bar, we made ourselves right at home at Glitter Gulch tiki. Arrived during the holidays around 7pm and were super happy to find the place not packed. Glitter Gulch tiki is located conveniently right off Fremont, so it's a little off the busy downtown street. This is a tiki lovers dream! Lots of cute tiki decor all over the place and super cozy. We nibbled on some wings and they were delicious and SAUCY! I love when my wings are covered in sauce and this was great. Paired this with the ranch and it was perfect. For drinks, we got the Hawaii 5-0 and the Luau'd in Vegas. Both super good and tasty! The Luau'd in Vegas was served with 151 and a fire show. Totally great for those social media hounds. Made for good photo/video. We finished things off with the pina colada and one of the Dole whip drinks. Also another great pair. What a fabulous find! We dropped in at my wife's suggestion. It was awesome. The place has a great tiki Polynesian vibe with some glitter thrown in for some sparkle! I reached out to Glitter Gulch and connected with Leah. She was super helpful in making sure that our reception was at the time we needed for the amount of guests we anticipated. Our wedding was 10-25-25 at 1pm at the SureThing, we booked the space from 3-5pm for 50 guests and it was under 2k. The day of, the entire staff was so helpful and took extra care of us. I've been to many tiki bars and this one has a modern looking twist. The ambiance has a bit of disco in it. Originally, I found out about this spot because of our Yelp Elite Event. We had such a great time so I decided to return back with some friends. We sat in a booth and waited for the server. She came by and took our drink order. Also, my friend did order the Vegetable Lumpia. I raved how delicious the Island Inspired food we had during the event. Nice ambiance, not too loud - just right for conversation with friends. I loved that they had a vegan food option on their menu - can be hard to find at bars! Our server was really nice as well.
