I injured my knee 6 weeks ago which was swollen, very weak, stiff, and painful to walk on or bend. I started physical therapy 3x a week, which very slowly started to help, but the weakness was still there and the swelling only reduced a little. I had an MRI which showed fluid buildup around the ACL. I went to Gary Sat afternoon, explained what happen, and after a quick examination of my knee, he went to work. And let me tell you, he REALLY went to work. The amount of energy he used to work on me is simply amazing. He has what seems like laser focus as he was able to pin point EXACTLY where the issue was with my knee. He treated me for about 1 hour, and worked on multiple areas that are all connected to the root cause of my knee pain. This is not a massage by any sense of the word. It does hurt when Gary works on you but you're in complete control. You tell him how much pressure you can tolerate while he works on you and he adjusts accordingly. All I can say is his hands work MAGIC! When he was done, I could not believe it but my knee pain was GONE! I mean completely GONE! And so is the swelling! I woke up today Sun thinking ok, I bet some of the pain will be back because there's no way its all gone after only 1 session. Nope, today is the same as yesterday... NO PAIN! As we had 6 adults (ages 35-80) interested in massages, I searched for the convenience of mobile in-home massages via yelp. Sana Sana not only looked the most promising but was also the promptest in responding and confirming availability - even though it was the holiday week between Christmas and New Years. Managing all the different family requests and our constantly shifting schedules was a tough but Valerie was super helpful and communicative and we managed to lock down our appointment block within 24 hours of first contact. Valerie brought another masseuse to manage all our appointments. She arrived early to set up at the house (they did their best working in a house full of energetic kids and dogs that struggle with the concept of quiet time) and they proceeded to give everyone amazing massages. Everyone highly raved about Valerie's skills; she took particular care to ensure comfort and total relaxation. She was swinging her arms in such an aggressive motion that I got hit in the head a couple of times. And when I told her that something wasn't working for me, she insisted it was supposed to help.
