Decided to come in on a Sunday afternoon. It was dead inside, maybe 2 other patrons. Pros- like others have stated excellent selection. However, they list all the draft names on the wall with no description which meant I had to look them up on my phone. Cons was definitely the price. My boyfriend and I shared a flight, and each had 1 beer and our total was almost $40. The bartender was not really engaged and sitting at the end of the bar playing on his phone. Mixed review here. Huge space! Lots of taps, including more than just craft beer...There are ciders and seltzers on tap as well. This would be a fun place for a big group or for you to enjoy time on the patio. Heads up: The Schaumburg location has food inside, this location does not. The tables inside were also a bit sticky; not sure if it was the type of table and finish it had or if it was because of the muggy feel inside. Lastly, the big stinger for me was the price. $18 for a flight is crazy. It does not even total two pints, yet you pay for more than what two beers would normally cost for the flight. That was a turn off to me. It does have five pours, but still. Overall, I like the Schaumburg location better, but if price is not an issue for you, you may like the ambiance of the St. Charles location. read more

I believe this location is temporarily closed for remodeling, but once it reopens, and food is available, I am sure it will be great! Similar to the Schaumburg location, very helpful and friendly servers, a wide selection of beer, cider and craft cocktails, in a relaxed atmosphere. We brought our dogs and saw dogs on the patio too. While there wasn't food available, we were able to order food through Uber Eats. If the food available after remodel is as fabulous at the Schaumburg location, it will make this place even better! Really loved this place! We have driven by so many times and never sure what it was or when it was open...happen to be driving by Thursday and saw cars there so stopped in. The nicest bar tenders - very knowledgeable - LOTS of local brews...they do not serve food but others patrons had brought food in - pizza mostly. Incredible space to gather with friends whether inside or outside. The interior features an awesome collection of craft beers for choosing and don't hesitate to ask the bartenders as they know their stuff! Why get lost among 50 different varieties when you ask the professionals. Once you choose then maybe kick your legs up near the metal sculpture fire pit shaped as the world! I've popped in to have a drink as well as held an event here. Owners could not be more accommodating, extremely present during the entire event stepping into handle anything needed. Our guests enjoyed the pop up food which was delicious and the trivia entertainment. Definitely a place worth returning and nothing sweeter than a dog-friendly establishment that welcomes the whole family in!!!! read more

We have been here severaltimes for trivia and the beer, drinks and ambiance are great! Trivia is entertaining, staff is very pleasant. My one complaint is that for such a nice establishment, the bathrooms are in serious need of repair and cleaning-every time. I hope they correct this so we can enjoy the whole experience! read more

First off, I'm a huge HopHead. Right off the bat, this place presents you with a tough choice of which tap to pull from. The beer I had was fresh and the bartender was kind, unlike some beer-centric pubs that grow impatient with beer questions. They don't serve food here, but they have menus for local eateries for delivery or pick up to dine in the pub. With that, the added bonus is that DOGS ARE PERMITTED in the establishment according to the bartender. This will be an easy sell to bring my wife back with me next visit. I am extremely particular about my IPA. The beer choice and dog-friendly atmosphere will make me a regular here. read more

This was the first stop on our brewery tour yesterday and it wasn't quite what I was expecting. Light, airy, and it even had a little rec room area with an Atari system and a plethora of card/board games. There was a substantial list of drinks on the wall and the bar tenders actually have you tiny samples before they gave you a full size drink. Nice! I had an apple cider which was delicious; just sour enough but not too sour. I had no idea what my friends had (sorry). We spent a long time drinking different beers (except for me) and playing Cards Against Humanity. Very enjoyable, lazy, sunny Saturday afternoon. I could see there was what looked like a very nice patio, complete with heater surrounded by a lot of seating. Too bad it was too cold to enjoy it! In short, I really liked this brewery (and I think my companions did too). When another one of my friends visits this summer I hope we can take him here! read more

This bar waaaaay exceeded my expectations!!! First of all we called ahead and they allow dogs and babies ...so basically it was meant to be and then they have bourbon county stout on tap and flights and multiple years of it!!! This place has an amazing beer selection and you can do flights of everything on tap which is at least 50 different beers. We only happened across it when we were at Jewel and figured let's try it out and never imagined it would be soooo amazing inside. Don't let the location of being in a strip mall across from jewel fool you, this is definitely a hidden gem!!! Great outdoor seating too with an awesome fire pit!!! Great bartender who was super friendly and knowledgeable as well!!! They have food trucks on some weekends and starting to get some bands playing as well!!! I can't wait to go back. We've been to Global Brew a LOT and when we can't think of anything to do for a night out, we always come back here! It's one of our go-to spots that never get old. We love craft beer and a good selection of it - this place has just that! The bartenders are always friendly, the place is spacious and never too crowded. I always enjoy trying new beers and sometimes getting food delivered. The patio is very nice for summer nights out and dog friendly. My fiancé and I sat at the bar top waiting for over ten minutes just for a bar tender to even acknowledge us. When I tried to waive one down, he walked right past us again avoiding eye contact. ABSOLUTELY GREAT! We hosted a "rehearsal dinner" for 100 people at Global Brew Tap House...Yes, 100 people!!!...And were planning this from Omaha, NE. Yep, we were out of towners trying to orchestrate a GINORMOUS rehearsal dinner and we could NOT have done this without the assistance of Geoff, the Global Brew manager! Geoff couldn't have been more helpful or accommodating. He drug tables down from the top mezzanine, let us arrange them however we wanted, added chairs, subtracted chairs, reserved tables on the patio. The facility is HUGE and there was more than enough room for all of our guests!! The beer list is EXTENSIVE and TASTY!!! There were plenty of employees to assist with beverages and the service was AMAZING!!! We brought in treats, and snacks, had a BBQ truck parked patio side, and ran a nice tab for beverages! I couldn't have imagined a better place to host a rehearsal dinner such as this! If you haven't visited Global Brew, do yourself a favor and stop in. And please, say "Hi!" to Geoff for me! He is the best!!! He simply could NOT have done more for us to make this night a success! read more
