I highly recommend this super cool spot to the Yelp Community. I recently had the pleasure of celebrating its 5th Anniversary. I enjoyed an afternoon on the front deck listening to live music and dining at participating Sky Deck restaurants offering anniversary specials. It was AWESOME that they also had photo opps and a build-your-own floral bouquet bar. Craft House was very very popular that day; unfortunately, the customer service especially at the bar fell off...but the refreshing margarita made up for it eventhough minimal tajín on the rim. Glassbox was on it regardless of the busyness...bites were delisssh. And shout out to the staff at the Bouquet Bar who were sooo friendly when I checked in and patient with me when I was building my beauuutiful bouquet. They handled the lines gracefully :-)

I love going to Marugame Udon for lunch and grabbing a quick bite, or Haidilao for hot pot if I want something a little nicer. There's also a VERY popular Din Tai Fung here. In addition, there's a food court with some fast food options, a Shake Shack, etc. It's a beautifully maintained and designed outdoor mall with plenty of space to sit and lots of kiosks where you can get coffee or small treats. The fashion Valley Mall tho, is my main mall. This is the mall where I actually do most of my shopping. We watch movies at the AMC theater when we have extra time and get food at the cafeteria/food court area after hours of walking. My son never misses going inside the Laderach to get a free taste, the best chocolate there is. We love going to this mall, especially with my son now being a teenager, we would most likely be doing lots of our shopping activities here especially at his favorite boutiques, like the zumies, Hollister, Rayban, and plenty others I do not recall.... We also love going to The escape room where the mall is. My favorite is the Nordstrom Rack! ;) The holidays tho could get really packed and busy but there's alot of nice things to see and lots of good deals to look forward to.

The mall itself has great stores, but what stood out to me was the number of homeless individuals throughout property. As a shopper, I did not feel comfortable walking around the mall. My two young kids were very uncomfortable, I have to move them from the food court and sit and eat elsewhere. For a high-end shopping destination, I expected a cleaner, safer, and more welcoming environment. Management needs to do a better job maintaining the property and ensuring guests feel comfortable while shopping. Unfortunately, this experience was enough that I won't be returning.

The featured menu items here were noodles, either potato or traditional Chinese. The bowls could be ordered as classic, beef, or seafood. The broth choices were two types of spiciness, tomato, or a fresh flavor. Special fried skewers and fried items rounded out the offerings. All of the skewers cost $2 apiece so I ordered two of the eight varieties. These were the Bean Curd with Enoki Mushrooms and the Tofu Skin Roll with Coriander. They were served as four pieces each on a skewer and had the shape of a small rolled taco. As fried tofu wrapped packages, I found them to be tasty and a good deal. For an entree, I picked the Beef Slices with half potato noodles and half traditional noodles served in a clay pot vessel. The tomato flavor was what I selected for a broth that had no spiciness. Two hard boiled quail eggs were added on top. The noodles were decent, however they didn't stand out for their quality. Several pieces of thinly sliced beef belly were included. I was less impressed with this product than the skewers, therefore I gave an overall three star rating.
