The sites are level and have a nice big table and a pole with two hooks for hanging trash or food so critters can't reach it. The way the loop is developed gives each campsite lots of privacy and you're never too far from a restroom or trash can. The people in the park were really friendly and the camp fees were totally reasonable. It's also not too far from town to run in to spend time in at the beautiful plaza area and browse for adorable nick knacks for souvenirs and gifts. It's also convenient for groceries or gas. There is an Albertsons and Whole Foods right off the highway as soon as you get to town.

My main complaints include the following: 1. One of the trainers approached me at the gym (an Italian woman with large glasses) and demanded that I put my phone away when I was changing a playlist on Spotify. I was neither talking nor texting. I brought this up with the membership director and I requested a follow-up after the trainer had been spoken to. I never received a follow-up. 2. The steam room is hazardous--the only way to turn it off is manually through the outside button. I brought this up as a huge hazard with the staff and they shrugged and said it 3. The towel drop is located inconveniently outside of the lockerroom because "there is no male staff available." There is also a sign that states that we are not allowed to put dirty towels on the ground. So basically, if one were to go to the steam room and use a towel, it's expected to get dressed again just to put the towel outside and then undress and go back to the shower and get a new towel. 4. The restaurant is only open a few hours a day. Most athletic clubs I've been to will usually have a cafe or some part of the restaurant open for gym-goers.

She's wonderful to talk to along the way and she took us to some amazing spots. The views were amazing. The horses are extremely well trained and are very friendly, the whole range of calm horses to more energetic horses for all types of riders. The half-day was a perfect amount of time to enjoy the mountain, horse, friends on the ride, and get back in time to relax. Will definitely do again and recommend to friends and family. :)

Our experience was top notch from reading all the great information they provide on their website, to booking the trip and traveling to the river and back. They even provided a health and delicious snack. I would definitely book another trip. Also, I I thought I booked our trip for the Wednesday we were in town and actually booked it for the following week. We showed up and they were able to accommodate date is for the next day!!!! I can't thank them enough for finding a guide to take us out in short notice.

This is by far the worst escape room we have ever been to. I wouldn't even call it an escape room…read more It is computer generated puzzles with very few hands on experiences. If you enjoy traditional escape rooms, I would not recommend. We have always enjoyed digging around for clues, opening locks, figuring out clues within a story. Most of the puzzles were disconnected, we barely manipulated anything, and you didn't need to solve all the puzzles to leave or complete the room. It was unfortunate because we love escape rooms and brought two newbies with us who basically gave up and did nothing. It's sad because they don't want anything to do with escape rooms after the experience. I will say the staff was super friendly, it just was not an escape room experience.

It's just not an actual escape room experience, and in my opinion it suffers because of that.

A challenging hike, but absolutely worth it!…read more When we went, the parking area had some construction going on, but it was still usable. There are several trails that start from the lot, so it will be used. The construction seems to be to connect this trailhead area to the nearby nature preserve society buildings and educational area. Which, by the way, is the closest restroom facilities. For those that need it... The trail is pretty easy to follow, though at the beginning, I was checking the photo I took of the trails and the AllTrails map. There were a couple confusing and unmarked on maps forks, or small dry creek beds or other areas that look like possible trails. And since part of the Picacho Peak trail is along or in a dry creek bed...it can be a little confusing. But once past that, the trails are pretty clear and well marked. It is challenging. It is in a higher elevation than I am generally used to, and even higher again from Albuquerque. And then you are climbing up a dang mountain. Take your time if you need to, bring more water than you think you'll need, bring snacks for energy at the top of the mountain. And enjoy!! The trail was neat and pretty well-maintained. The views are wonderful! And the other folks who will also make this trek are friendly and kind. Very glad we did it!
