Don't let the three stars fool ya... it's a decent place and they try really hard. 3 stars are owed to the kitchen. I sat at the bar and ordered the zucchini fries and a burger wrap from there. The zucchini and fries were super greasy....the wax paper in the basket was see through and dripping with grease. The burger wrap was good but it was thrown together like Taco Bell. Condiments and veggies were unevenly distributed. Fist half I ate had no tomatoes or mustard. Second half had all the tomatoes and mustard but no mayo. Again, I didn't touch the fries because...did I mention GREASY?! The service was decent and they really try. So I'll be coming back in the hopes that they read this and talk to the kitchen staff. read more

35 Tv's with every game possible going on is what we were looking for and we got that plus some pretty good eats on the cheap! Our table ended up going for the 100oz draft beer which sounds like a lot but not really for 4 guys. It's just easier to have your own tap right at the table. We went for the nachos to start with all the meats as well as jalapeño and guacamole. The nachos were pretty good and all the toppings were very fresh, like, they just chopped the jalapeños for our order fresh. The side of guacamole is only served in a 2oz ramekin which is enough for 2 chips but that's the only thing that was disappointing. The rest of our foods consisted of the angus mushroom and Swiss burger, a couple orders of the pork and ribs which was awesome and the portion was perfect and for the guy who was forced on a diet, the grilled chicken with veggies and Mac n cheese. We're the kind of eaters that if it's on the table it's game for anyone and nobody was disappointed. Clean plates all around. With another quarter left in the gator game we all got dessert too. A couple banana bread puddings and a root beer float later we were all left very impressed. The prices are very good and the portions and flavors are great as well. We were seated by a "regular" our waitress told us because they were bantering amongst each other. That was cool. It made me want to come back more. Especially since the food was really good. This is my first time at a Glory Day's. I like the sports bar feel. Our waitress was the best. She was very informative and attentive. Not to mention really nice and funny too. I got the chicken and waffles which was really good. The chicken was crispy and flavorful which makes the meal in my opinion. My hubs had the pork chop dinner and he enjoyed his meal as will. We chose a Monday night to eat there as we knew it would be quiet - so why is it - out of the entire restaurant where you could enforce social distancing and spread customers out. You clump 4 tables all together when the rest of the restaurant is empty? You have booths that have plexiglass between them - yet nothing for the stand alone tables, and you sit 4 out of 5 groups of people at the tables? I ordered my daughter shrimp and broccoli and the broccoli was disappointing as well. Last time I was in the area I went to Ford's where there service was good and food was decent but I figured I'd try this place as I'd never been. I likely won't come back I was alone and would've preferred the bar but no seats because distancing so I took a 4 seat hi top by myself. I was greeted and given a menu then nothing for a time. Then a guy who didn't greet me came and asked if I needed a drink. The bartender came over too and I asked for a beer which I never got. The staff overall is friendly. They've recently changed the Happy Hour, which definitely isn't as good as it used to be. Gets pretty crowded in the dinner time, but fairly slow in the afternoon. I've been a frequent at this particular restaurant for over 2 years and I love the service but the food has become less appetizing. I normally order their GDG Big Fabulous Fish Fry which is the haddock fish beer battered with Stella and I get it with a Caesar salad and Mac and cheese. For starters the fish was bland and tough to chew and the Mac and cheese was AWFUL. I believe they use to use a yellow cheese and now if just looks like a blob of white cheese with noodles somewhere within in this blob of a mess. The only thing I enjoyed was the salad. But who can mess up a salad right? I wouldn't recommend this place. I'd rather travel to Tampa and find some good eats at one of their cafes. read more

We used to love Lee Roy Selmon's so we came here to give it a try. We ordered the nachos without meat, and they were pretty simple but good. Nothing great. I really wish they had pickled okra on them like Lee Roy's! I had The Black Bean Burger and it was good. Their fries are made in animal fat so not vegetarian friendly. :( My girl's licked their kid's menu ribs to the bone! I had the side salad with ranch and it reminded me of Outback's (very good!). My friend was in the mood to go to a sports grill and I had read some yelp reviews and we decided to come here. I'm sure glad that we did. From the moment you walk in you can see the TVs posted all over the walls with the different games playing. The best part is that instead of having a loud broadcaster play all over the restaurant, they have a machine at each table where you can pick and choose what channel you would like to hear. Which in my personal opinion is great. I ordered a margarita and for $6.00 the size was huge and totally worth every penny. Food wise it is delicious. We had the Mac and cheese bites which just melted in your mouth and with the touch of bbq sauce to it just made it extra delicious. I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich and it was freshly made. The chicken had just the right amount of buffalo sauce. My friend ordered the ribs and omg they were delicious also. They literally came fight off the bone without having to fight them. Off early stopped by for a bite to eat. The blacken fish tacos and fries won out . Presentation excellent came out hot crisp and fast. The fries were real good and I ordered another. Now that was a wait . I'm a very patient person but when there are few people in the bar / grill you think that 3 times no problem . I had to call in back up for the second side.
