We use to enjoy glory days. The last couple times food orders have been messed up both times. Service was aweful, we won't be back.

Anyone visiting this restaurant should avoid ordering the chili unless you are looking for ice cold food and want to risk getting sick from under cooked and cold food. It comes with onions and cheese and is not warm enough to melt the cheese. I've order the chili several times and each and every time I've had to send it back ( more than once each time) in order for it to come out hot and at the proper temperature to avoid getting ill. Been eating there at least twice a month over the last year. My experience yesterday was the worst customer service I have ever experienced at any restaurant. We went to Glory Days tonight to celebrate my husband's birthday. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. However, my husband's food included a bobby pin! The waitress apologized and quickly took the burger back and the manager apologized. Of course, by the time a new burger came out, the rest of us were done. Then came the check... He was charged for his burger! The manager didn't comp it, till I asked. What a joke. read more

I like it but for some reason the cheese fries make me feel weird and it has to be more child friendly like some where away from the bar and drunk people the distance is not enough it is setting a bad influence so I recommend bringing the kids read more

Ate here twice while on a recent business trip. The first time I had the chicken sandwich and the second time the BBQ pork sandwich. I will have to say the BBQ was the better of the two. The FF were very good and the serve Heinz ketchup. read more

This Glory Days is pretty much like any other. My experience is that the service here is good and the food is what you'd expect from a chain restaurant. Good, not great. That being said, it's good for family or if you're going to watch a game with friends. Recommend it. read more

Four us had dinner Christmas Eve. The drink special was a good deal and we all got burgers and sandwiches. One came out undercooked and cold. They quickly fix the wrong and it turned out fine. read more

We go to Glory Days in Culpeper 2 times a week. The food is usually very good as are the waiters. Today the hostess who never recognizes us as regulars left us standing at the door for more than 10 min when they weren't even busy. Stopped here on a Friday night. The food was average sports bar food. The service was below average. I will probably not eat here again.

I have been there several times. I will have to agree that there needs to be new management. From observation, for the most part the wait staff is untrained & unprofessional. I have been very fortunate to have had the same server when we go. If she isn't there, we go to Chili's. Diamond has provided the best service I've had in any restaurant in Culpeper. (It's easy for me to remember her name & ask for her because she is such gem at her job). First time we had a large party with kids. The experience was super - she was very good with the kids & kept 1 of them from having a meltdown. Another time there were only 4 of us. The food wasn't outstanding (almost thought about sending it back)but again, with the good service we recieved we still had a good time. The last time I was there I was by myself & seated in the bar area. I couldn't make up my mind as to what I wanted. My server took the time to guide me thru the menu & explain the dishes (really on top of her product). I ended up having a wonderful meal which made my day. While seated though I observed the younger wait staff & what appeared to be management just sitting around by the bar -- not very professional behavior was displayed. If MY server ever leaves, I will follow wherever she goes if she is in the area . She makes it nice to eat out. I wouldn't go there just for the food with poor, unprofessional service. read more

I went to the carry out at Glory Days Grill to place an order...it was lunch time. There was no one at the cash register to take my order...a guy from the kitchen came out and said I had to go to the Bar to place a carry out order. I thought well if I have to place an order at the Bar and I am already inside. I just as well have them seat me at a table. I order an appetizer and a sweet tea. I then told the waiter, I also, would like to have a prime hamburger and macaroni and cheese to go. Within a few moments he came back, He said, "that they don't do hamburgers for take outs on Mondays and Tuesdays at lunch time, but he could bring it out on a dinner plate and he would bring me a box to put it in but I would have to do it myself. Laughing in his face, I said that would be okay. ...none of this made any sense to me. They had to take the time to cook and place the hamburger on a plate and put the macaroni and cheese in a bowl. Why not put it in a foam container for a take out? If they don't serve hamburgers on Monday and Tuesday for lunch than why were they on the menu? Also, this information should be in writing on the menu for the customer to see and read. They weren't even busy... Why would they want to give a paying customer a hard time and treat them this way? The waiter was very slow in bringing my food and check...My husband and I dine out every weekend. We usually spend around $65.00 a meal for two at Glory Days in Culpeper, Virginia and have done this for the past couple of years....but after being treated this way over a hamburger and the service being very slow....I 'm done with this restaurant. Looked on the web at their menue. Saw the "Prime Rib Sandwich - Succulent, slow-roasted Prime rib shaved thin and topped with grilled onions on a freshly baked and grilled roll. Served with au jus for dipping. 9.99 Went to the restaurant, ordered it and got something that looked alot more like dog food. Not succulent overcooked , not rare like the picture, and the onions were scarce and half grilled. It was etable but had no flavor. The manager said I could have sent it back but who knows what I would have gotten the second time around. I told him to check out his own web site and change the picture. I'm giving this place a 3 star because the food was good and the service that I get when I have gone in was always decent, until last night when I had gone there to eat, I sat in one of booths closest to the bar so you would think I would have been able to get my drink quickly right? WRONG. It kind of late when I came in and I can imagine how tired the servers were (I used to be a cocktail sever years ago) but being tired doesn't give any excuse to be rude to a guest and that's exactly what my server was. She was just simply rude. She didn't make me feel welcomed at all. In fact she seemed annoyed that we were even there. It wasn't busy at all and it still took her forever to bring me a refill. I felt rushed to leave because not only was my server not attentive and rude but she didn't even ask if we wanted any dessert, which I did but after she set the check down I was just ready to go.
