a pizza with pepperoni, olives, and cheese
    Alyson M.

While it was a bit awkward when we drove up and realized this place is inside a Whole Foods, I am glad we gave it a shot. We were looking for a place to get pizza and a beer while we watched a Sunday night football game. The good sized dining area was full of sports fans watching football on multiple screens. All the games were on. The draft beer section and our pizza were actually really good. We were very happy with our choice in beer and pizza. The crust was nice and chewy and very well made. Food and drinks are decently priced and we took half a pizza home for leftovers.

This place is joke. First off can't find the bar to begin with because it's tucked inside of Whole Foods. The whole place is quiet like a prayer session! No sports audio no music no nothing. It says wait to be seated but there's no one to be found. Would never in a million years label this locate a "sports bar" It feels like a college lunch room... I gave it one star in hops my wings will come out tasting decent. Very awkward place... (Edited) got my wings.. I'm thoroughly not impressed and highly disappointed

$0.39 cent wings on Thursdays from 6-8pm! dine in only & minimum of 6 count
    VyVy V.

We went to try their $0.39 cent Thursday wing nights. Your minimum order per flavor has to be 6 wings. We tried the four flavors that were offered (besides naked) and I liked the buffalo and barbeque the best. The General Tso's and Korean flavors were just okay to me. The deal was priced really well but it can also make you full fast since the wings are breaded. You are also not allowed to have any to go boxes for the wings due to the deal. I look forward to going back and trying some of their other nightly deals.

This gentleman is really on the ball. His name is Adam.

My five star ratings really attributes to this gentleman who knows how to satisfy his customers at this bar. I think his name is Adam. He is constantly providing excellent service, watching the whole scene, making sure of good operation. He is polite, very professional and very efficient. The food, not bad at all. Especially the burgers. The beer, I liked #8. That's my lucky number and the alcohol content is nice. 8.2%. This is my favorite place to watch sports games.

    Blackened Salmon Sandwich

Apparently I've been checking in inaccurately at Whole Foods whenever I was getting my salmon fix at the Sports Spot, but now I know better :) Located inside Whole Foods, Sports Spot is pretty busy most of the time. It offers various sports bar like foods: wings, hamburgers, sandwiches, nachos, tater tots, fries, chips and quite a wide selection of beers. It also has several TVs broadcasting sports. Even though there are daily specials on food, I always get the Blackened Salmon Sandwich which is absolutely delicious. They grill the salmon to perfection and pair it with some slightly spicy sauce that gives it just the right kick. The sandwich is very filling too. The advantage about its location is you're not limited just to their food. You can always grab something from the store and just hang out to watch the games. Hmm now I'm debating getting my salmon sandwich tonight :)

These are the daily food specials as of March 2018

Sports Spot is a sports bar inside of a grocery store. There are a bunch of tables and they are all lined up so you are kind of sitting with other people. They have good beer here, a big selection of drafts and you don't have to tip so your bill doesn't get as big. You can order a bunch of different food items and on different days of the week there are different specials. Unfortunately the food is Whole Foods food, so it has an off taste to it based on whatever weird organic ingredients they use. Its a good deal in terms of getting bang for your buck but I just can't get over the taste. There is a reason bars and restaurants don't cook things the way they do. From a sports standpoint it is ok to watch games inside. But the key to this whole place is the patio outside. In the summer you can watch Nats games out there. The patio is the perfect place to enjoy your beer and food. It is one of the best patios in all of Fairfax. I love it so much. You can also bring food from the grocery store here. I like getting the wings from the BBQ stand and bringing it in. The patio and the beer bump this 3 star generic grocery store cafeteria with TVs into a 4 star place to drink beers on beautiful days.

Nachos, brisket burger (far top) tater puffs on the left and a veggie burger for me

Finally decided to try this place out. They open right at 11 so it's better to get there right when it opens, as they get very crowded especially on the weekend! We ordered: Tator Puffs - your standard tots, but very crispy, freshly made and delicious, would definitely get again! Brisket Burger - My husband ordered this behemoth of a burger! Very juicy, a good amount of brisket in the burger! Definitely a good pick! Veggie burger - I enjoyed this burger a lot. Veggie burgers are usually a hit or miss for me, and this was a sure hit! The patty was very very juicy, delicious and packed. The texture was also very unique. Will definitely get again and make sure you get it with cheddar cheese :) Nachos - huge serving, might be good to share with 4 people, nothing special but delicious and a big heaping blob of fresh guac! yum! The service is quite fast and the servers are REALLY nice! We can't wait to go back and try their .39 cent thursday night wings!

    wings (general Tso's flavor)

This "sports bar" inside Whole Foods can get crazy crowded, especially during game season - now I'm taking about football season! My hubby and I have been grabbing food here as a healthier way to enjoy our favorite bar foods. He loves their vege burger and I have to say, it tastes like a beef patty. It's also plant and not soy based which I like. I've also tried their onion straws and tasty tater puffs. And I love their coney dog and fries for only $5! The dog is topped with warm chili, cheese, and red onions. The dog comes on a buttery and soft bun. Thursdays is 39 cent wing nights and it can get super busy! But the wings are worth the wait since it's quality meat. Some of my favorite wing flavors are buffalo and general tso's (which I completely did not expect!). They sell game day classics such as wings, nachos, burgers, fries, BBQ ribs, pizza, and everything in between. What I love most about this sports bar is their ingredients all come from the Whole Foods store. You like something? Sure you can purchase it while you grocery shop afterwards. It's nice to know my favorite game day classics are made with clean and quality ingredients! Kudos to Sports Zone and to Whole Foods!

Love this place! It's my favorite spot for dinner, drinks, and the game with hubs and baby. The food is great and you can bring food in from the other WF food bars. Where else can you have seafood, BBQ, wine/cheese, sushi, and a sports "bar" under one roof. The customer service is the best and NO tipping. The guys working here are always so friendly and there's always regulars that frequent this place.

    Sport spot weekday specials!
    Robert S.

Probably the best place in Fairfax to watch sports in a non-seedy atmosphere. Craft beers on tap and change daily. Weekday food specials, or bring in your own food from the grocery store. The staff is extremely helpful in selecting beers and are very efficient. It's a hidden gem.

    39-cent wing night!
    Ravee P.

I have nothing but high praise for this sports bar found inside the Whole Foods of Fair Lakes. Their food is as top notch as bar fare can get (props to the blackened salmon sandwich, nachos, and wings), and they have weekday food specials that are super popular - especially 39-cent wing night! They have wall-to-wall TVs and both indoor and outdoor seating. Their staff provide excellent customer service, especially their super-attentive leader Adam. Five stars all the way!

Lots of TVs with sports action

Walked in thinking this was a sports bar. It turned out it was a kids and parents eaterie with more of a cafeteria feel.

So... this was an interesting experience in customer service!…read more I used the FANZO sports bar finder website (fanzo.com) to determine that a pay-per-view boxing event was "confirmed" (per the website) to be showing at Dave & Buster's Fairfax this past Saturday afternoon. I called the location ahead of time that Saturday and spoke to a D&B employee, who put me on hold to check with her manager. She returned a short time later and confirmed that the bar would be showing the boxing event. I drove 20+ minutes to the location and, after waiting at the bar for a while, was told that no, Dave & Buster's would not be showing the event--even though it had been listed as "confirmed" on the sports bar finder website and despite management apparently confirming it over the phone less than an hour earlier. Later that night, I emailed Dave & Buster's Guest Relations (corporate) to explain what had happened and express my frustration with the experience. To my surprise, they responded promptly the next day (on a Sunday!), apologized, and credited me with Dave & Buster's gaming chips as a gesture of goodwill. (I did have to pay a little out of pocket to purchase the Power Card needed for Guest Relations to transfer the gaming chips, but I nonetheless very much appreciated the goodwill gesture.) So I'd definitely rate the initial experience at the location a 1, but I'd rate D&B Guest Relations' prompt response and gesture of goodwill a 4 or 5. So they get a 3 overall from me (higher than their current Yelp average). I'll say that my experiences at this venue prior to this past weekend have generally been good. I just don't think I'll feel comfortable relying on watching any pay-per-view sporting events at this location anytime soon, and - given the experience I had here - would warn others to independently verify any pay-per-view event before making the trip, even if Dave and Buster's staff confirms it over the phone.

It made the whole experience feel incredibly welcoming and personal. We ordered the Dynamite Roll, which was a solid choice with 8 generous pieces, and the Szechuan spicy wontons, which were juicy with just the right amount of heat.
