Used to be my favorite place for wings but lately the wings seem to always be overcooked. I would rather order their glory sauce in a bottle and make my own wings. I am sure I would be more satisfied. However, their cobblers are amazing! They come in various flavors: blueberry, peach, and apple. No matter your preference, you can't go wrong. I placed a to go order on Fri 10/17 at 11:02 pm. Sante Fe egg rolls, 12 bone in old bay wings and fries. I picked it up 15 mins after ordering and underwhelmed with results. The egg rolls were over cooked to the point of burnt, the presentation was horrible, the old bay wings were over seasoned as if the entire bottle of old bay was pour on it. I could only eat 2 wings even after dusting off the excessive seasoning. The fries were too salty. $26 wasted! I should have followed my gut to stop by Harris Teeter for a fresh snack! Highly disappointed in the food and unfortunately one of the eateries that stay open after 10pm. My family loves Glory Days. We used to go all the time when there was a Glory Days in Broadlands near our house. For my son's birthday, he wanted to go to Glory Days, so we made a reservation for a large party of 12 kids and 3 adults. The manager was very helpful in setting it up via email off the company website. The birthday went off smoothly. Our server Zack did an AWESOME job getting the orders and delivering the food for a large group of 11 year old boys. After reading all the reviews about the service I was not excited about having our end of the year Fantasy Football gathering here on a Monday night. Well we had about 15 people and it was great! I started at the bar and had great service and then went to a table and everyone was great - servers, bartender, hostess. It was Burger night so I opted for the Glory Days burger for $7.99 and it was wonderful also. The meat was cooked perfectly as was the fried egg. I've been a patron to this chain for ten years and used to enjoy taking my family there. However, I have seen the food quality deteriorate significantly the past couple of years while their process have gone up. Both the Warrenton and Stone Ridge restaurants cause us to feel ill when when eat there. I've spoken to management at both stores and told them about the myriad issues nut unfortunately it seems nothing has changed. Here is an example: Yesterday I ordered a simple grilled cheese sandwich on the "lunch special" menu, 1/2 sandwich and a salad for $8.99. The cheese was luke warm, there was only one thin slice of cheese, it wasn't melted, and the bread was toasted verse being cooked on the stove top like a grilled cheese is supposed to be. I asked if it applied to take out they said yes and asked to transfer me to another team member. After being transferred to another team member I ordered my meal. She told me it was 13. I asked her if she applied the deal to that, she said that it only applies to dining in. So.....Glory Days.....where do I begin? For those who had good food, I envy you. That's really all we wanted when we went there. Late (for us) for dinner...we had decided that it's a chain it would be semi safe, semi decent. Wrong. The decor is nicer than most Glory Days, but I think thats because it was newer than those locations like the one in Reston. We liked our server and that wasn't a problem...it was just the greasy inedible piece of sandwich called the Pittsburgher that I took issue with. I had to try to eat around the grease soaked bread...and then there is the bendable pickle that was just as equally unappetizing. My husband just had some unmemorable soup but I cant' remember what he ordered. Now...for you faint of heart...this is where you must click elsewhere so that I can describe the next parts. This is why a 2 1/2 starish place got one star. Towards the end of the meal, my husband got a stomach ache. I don't think it was their food since he really didn't eat much. Now, he goes to the bathroom, but he comes back a minute later. I'm thinking, hrm...that was quick. Well, no....the reason "that was quick" was because he stepped into the bathroom...to find a man urinating on the floor NEXT to the urinal because the urinals were either not working, or had vomit in it. Then he went to a stall to use the bathroom but the area and the toilet was so nasty he couldn't fathom placing his butt on it. In a panic, my husband asks me to pay for dinner and to meet him at the grocery store in that lot area - I think it was a Harris Teeter. Anyway, he runs his butt over to the grocery store to use the restroom there. (poor guy) Hubby isn't really delicate when it comes to odor, that's more my weakness, but if it was too much for him to literally "stomach" you know that they left their bathroom in a sorry state. This is definately the go to place for all American fare in stoneridge. It's a sports bar but you are not necessarily overwhelmed by the cheers of excited sports fans. The food is always good. I was really hopeful for Glory Days Grill in Stone Ridge, but this place is not that great. No free refills on strawberry lemonade drinks that cost $3.59... Even Red Robin will give you free refills at that price point. My wife ordered chicken tenders and asked for for honey mustard sauce and BBQ sauce... Our waitress told us it was one or the other, not both. Seriously? An extra cup of BBQ sauce is going to bring down the franchise? I don't blame the server, I blame the owner. Any owner of a restaurant who charges $1 for a refill for a strawberry lemonade, while every other franchise (Buffalo Wild Wings, Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Red Robin, TGIFriday's, Chili's), offer free refills on something as simple as a strawberry lemonade... Even Wendy's makes a nice, and cheaper strawberry lemonade. Food was good... Service was good. Glory Days is a very reliable easy going place for dinner or lunch. The food is consistent and they offer decent wings. Mondays they have a $5 burger special which is a good deal. And every night after nine they have $5 appetizers. There are lots of TVs and you can watch anything that you could possibly want. The receptionist staff is friendly and they always open the door when you arrive and leave - kind of nice for a bar. The bar is in the middle of the restaurant and there are two separate dining sections. Both of which have lots of comfortable booths and tons of TVs along with the radio receiver that allows you to listen in to whichever TV is playing. Overall, this is a good restaurant in Stone Ridge. I would give it 3 and 1/2 stars but I don't have the option. The menu is a wee bit pricey but consistency has its value and you always know what to expect here at Glory Days. read more

From opening the front door when you walk in to the great food and friendly hostesses, waiters and service, they make you feel at home. Flat Iron steak or sirloin, cooked to perfection, onion rings perfectly crisp, chicken wings awesome, grilled salmon hard to beat, ribs some of the best I have tasted. I really like Glory Days. I've been to several locations and each one is just as good as the others. It's a good place to go if you're looking to have a couple of beers and eat your typical greasy American food. My personal favorite is the buffalo chicken sliders. The nachos are really good too. Soooo not conducive to trying to meet my weight loss goal, but it's probably fine. It can get kind of loud during game times, but overall the atmosphere is nice and welcoming. You like waiting? This is the place for you. We came in around 6PM and got seated right away, it was busy but not full. Our server came to get our drink order within a few minutes and returned to get our food order. We ordered two of the Octoberfest specials with no weird requirements. A few minutes later, our server returned with our drinks. I'd say about 5-10 minutes after that they stated that it looked like the kitchen was finishing up. Then we waited, and waited, saw some food go by, and waited, and waited. We waited about 40 minutes for our food to arrive. Our server kept looking at the table and going in the kitchen but never came out with food. The manager also kept walking around and didn't really seem to care what was going on. The server had the manager bring out the food (thanks?) and all we were offered was a mere apology for the delayed food. So.....was it messed up.....did some other server accidentally take it.....would we be comped anything....don't know and a definite nope. We also hear another table in the corner who didn't arrive that long after us get the same lousy "sorry for the wait" comment. Whether that comes from the server or the manager, it doesn't really have a different effect. The food was just OK, reminding us why we hadn't been to this or any Glory Days in what seemed like at least two years. Will we be back? Maybe if we are super desperate. We were eating dinner at the bar for two hours and the bartender literally NEVER asked us if we needed anything. Not once. We had to wave her down every time we wanted something. The place wasn't even crowded. (As others have noted, employees like standing around talking in groups of 3-4. I saw tables that were covered with dirty dishes for hours). The good: my wife reported this bad service to the manager who was a cool understanding guy. And despite our statements that we didn't want anything, he took some food off our check. Decided to give Glory Days another try for an early afternoon snack... I would say that, during less frantic hours, the food takes a while longer to prepare but does come out hot. We had cheeseburger sliders that were decent. And also an order of 12 wings, which was tasty and crispy. I guess during off hours also, the general cleanliness of the restaurant is much better. The table was not sticky, and no food remnants stuck on utensils or the seats. Our waiter was very nice and because there were very few other parties present, was able to hold a conversation with us. The service overall was prompt and the food was good. Still has room for improvements, like staff conversations right in front of customers, which is less than professional.
