    Tiramisu and London Fog donuts
    David Y.

Dense yet fluffy, good variety of flavours, and definitely filling. Glory Hole delivers a pleasing experience that will leave you satisfied. Tried the Tiramisu and London Fog donuts, and while I would have liked a stronger taste to the cream filling, I still left happily licking my lips after gobbling them down. Definitely worth a try!

I've been here 3 times with mixed results. If you don't get them fresh they are just okay. Of course fresh, they are super gooey and delicious. Also a bit on the expensive side.

The doughnuts here are just okay. Perhaps it's all the Instagram hype but I didn't find anything special about them. The doughnuts were well made and some of the flavors were interesting but nothing to make a second trip out for. The hazelnut doughnut (I forget the exact name) was decadent, couldn't make it through just a few bites. The raspberry pistachio donut was pretty but I think it needed more flavor from either the berries or more pistachios. The bread and butter doughnut was definitely interesting, tasted like a sweetened butter with some crunch. That was probably the most interesting doughnut we had. Were the donuts bad? No. They were just okay. Would I return? Probably not.

Clockwise from top left: Toast & butter, Ferraro rocher, key lime, mango lassi.

If Glory Hole arguably has Toronto's best doughnuts, I'm prepared to argue against that position. There are all kinds of things great about their doughnuts: they're big, fluffy, and there a pretty decent variety of rotating flavours. But holy crap are they expensive! $24 for a half dozen, COME ON! It is fuel for Parkdale's gentrification more than anything. They're ultimately, good doughnuts and scores better than something from Tim Hortons. But they're also about as good as something you'd find at Loblaws at twice the price. We ordered six - toast & butter, key lime, mango lassi, Ferrero Rocher, .... and two others I don't even recall. That's how forgettable they ultimately were. Solid points on the T-shirts they sell though. Clever designs that look great. I'd have bought one if the doughnuts themselves didn't try to bankrupt me.

Maybe made with love but sold with nastiness.

So incredibly rude. Called ahead, asked to order to pay in advance (no), asked if I should order online (no), said I wanted a specific donut (sufganiot) and no mention they were almost sold out. I was told they don't do same day holds so I said I'd drive right over, which I did. When I arrived 20 minutes later they were sold out. I recounted the conversation but she insisted I called the other location, which I did not. I told her how frustrated I was that she didn't tell me there were only 4 sufganiot donuts left when I called, and she again insisted I must have called the other location, which I know 100% I didn't. She then slammed the window in my face and I had to beg her to sell me a dozen donuts for $46! They'd better be good but just know, with attitude like this, karma is not in your favour. Reminds me of the soup "N" from Seinfeld!

I've always wondered if there was a unique doughnut shop in Toronto & when I found out about this place through Instagram, I had to check it out as soon as I could. I finally made time to go to the Gerrard & Coxwell location; it's not a cafe, more like you order and take it to go. I ordered half a dozen for $24: mango lassi, Ferrero rocher, toast and butter and a birthday cake doughnut because it is my birthday month after all. Mango lassi doughnut tastes exactly like the drink but obviously in doughnut form. Ferrero rocher was topped with hazelnuts but then again I'm not big on texture especially nuts. Toast and butter was different in a good way ..I'd say you try it & see how feel about it hahaha! Lastly, birthday cake doughnut was literally a pound cake-like doughnut which was okay to me but I still prefer the birthday cake doughnut from Krispy Kreme I enjoyed the doughnuts (I shared with my sister, okay) & would love to try their other flavours next time I visit their shop.

Awesome doughnuts that are nice and chewy, and definitely on the heavier side. We went at around 11am on a Saturday, and the place was packed. We got half a dozen for $23, and we got Ferraro Rocher, Toasted Butter, Butter Pecan, white Chocolate Caramel and Chunky Monkey. If you're a Nutella or Ferraro Rocher fan, you'd love their Ferraro Rocher. If you're a pecan and toffee fan, you'd love their Butter Pecan. We have yet to try out the rest of the doughnuts, but I am sure they will be superb! Welcome to the neighbourhood, and can't wait to try out more flavours! :)

pumpkin pie (top left) and London fog (right) donuts. super yummy!

I am a big fan of donuts with filling, so GHD London Fog is my all time favourite. very tasty but not too sweet, well balanced and subtle flavour. they are not stingy on the filling which is great, generous amount of icing too. altogether it is a delicious donut. I've also tried the Pumpkin Pie donut, which I guess is a seasonal rotation variety, it is very good too. I am so happy that the stores remain open during Covid!

Got to try these donuts at a party and these were not your regular donuts. It's a big donut and most importantly it's fresh, soft and tasty with a good mixture of texture with a topping. This was definitely a hit at the party.

The Short Version: California style donuts, big and fluffy…read more I'm a fan. The Long Version: So Harry and Heels is a donut shop inside the Fourth Man in the Fire Pizzeria. The founder is the same (he's also the founder of the Burger's Priest). Their donuts are also available at Farm Boy, even as far east as Ottawa, which is actually where I tried them (since sadly the last time I was in Toronto, was before the business was founded). I tried the Chocolate Cream Filled ($3.99) which is a big fluffy yeast donut with chocolate on top and is filled with whipped cream. It's like a round eclair, lol. The layer of chocolate was thick, which I liked. The amount of whipped cream inside was also good, not stingy. These donuts are big and substantial, yet so soft. I'm a fan. I'm looking forward to trying other flavours, likely just at Farm Boy for the near future, but hopefully at their store in Toronto in the not too distant future. Review #3 (2026)

Ordered: Apple Fritter (CAD ~$5)…read more Aya's take: Located inside the pizzeria, Harry & Heels is cranking out California-style donuts. As someone who lived in California for 4 years, I will say these are better than the donuts I had there. We only tried the Apple Fritter which isn't usually my go-to but I'm very glad we tried it. It's crisp and sweet on the outside yet unbelievably soft and fluffy on the inside! The apple flavor is mild and could be a bit more pronounced, in my opinion. It's super airy and less dense than I expected which made this so easy to inhale. It didn't even make it out the door! Super friendly staff and tasty donuts!
