We got the passion fruit coconut, strawberry bomb, vanilla sprinkle, toast and butter, hibiscus, and the blueberry fritter that was on special that day. I think depending on your taste, you will have to pick and choose which donut works for you. They come in a variety of textures, sweetness levels, and flavors. My personal favourite was the blueberry twist, as the donut texture was dense with a slightly crisp exterior. The icing it was dipped in was too sugary for me, but that was easily scraped off. We've visited Glory Hole Doughnuts far too often so we can share their delectable goods with our friend and family when we get the chance. They have never disappointed with any flavour of doughnut creation that they introduce. Our favourite is still the toast and coconut mainstay on their menu. I hope that never goes away. We almost always get a half dozen while mix and matching old favourites with their newly seasonal offereings. If you request it, they can write the flavours on the inside cover of the box so you know which one you are diving into. They tend to go quick once you start. I was in the neighborhood looking for a quick coffee and stopped into this place. Wow! i was so glad that I did! i ordered a latte and while I was waiting I looked over the doughnuts. Initially, I thought that they were a bit pricey but bought a couple anyway. The doughnuts here are just okay. Perhaps it's all the Instagram hype but I didn't find anything special about them. The doughnuts were well made and some of the flavors were interesting but nothing to make a second trip out for. The hazelnut doughnut (I forget the exact name) was decadent, couldn't make it through just a few bites. The raspberry pistachio donut was pretty but I think it needed more flavor from either the berries or more pistachios. The bread and butter doughnut was definitely interesting, tasted like a sweetened butter with some crunch. That was probably the most interesting doughnut we had. Were the donuts bad? If Glory Hole arguably has Toronto's best doughnuts, I'm prepared to argue against that position. There are all kinds of things great about their doughnuts: they're big, fluffy, and there a pretty decent variety of rotating flavours. But holy crap are they expensive! $24 for a half dozen, COME ON! It is fuel for Parkdale's gentrification more than anything. They're ultimately, good doughnuts and scores better than something from Tim Hortons. But they're also about as good as something you'd find at Loblaws at twice the price. We ordered six - toast & butter, key lime, mango lassi, Ferrero Rocher, .... and two others I don't even recall. That's how forgettable they ultimately were. So incredibly rude. Called ahead, asked to order to pay in advance (no), asked if I should order online (no), said I wanted a specific donut (sufganiot) and no mention they were almost sold out. I was told they don't do same day holds so I said I'd drive right over, which I did. When I arrived 20 minutes later they were sold out. I recounted the conversation but she insisted I called the other location, which I did not. I told her how frustrated I was that she didn't tell me there were only 4 sufganiot donuts left when I called, and she again insisted I must have called the other location, which I know 100% I didn't. She then slammed the window in my face and I had to beg her to sell me a dozen donuts for $46! They'd better be good but just know, with attitude like this, karma is not in your favour. I've always wondered if there was a unique doughnut shop in Toronto & when I found out about this place through Instagram, I had to check it out as soon as I could. I finally made time to go to the Gerrard & Coxwell location; it's not a cafe, more like you order and take it to go. I ordered half a dozen for $24: mango lassi, Ferrero rocher, toast and butter and a birthday cake doughnut because it is my birthday month after all. Mango lassi doughnut tastes exactly like the drink but obviously in doughnut form. Ferrero rocher was topped with hazelnuts but then again I'm not big on texture especially nuts. Toast and butter was different in a good way ..I'd say you try it & see how feel about it hahaha! Lastly, birthday cake doughnut was literally a pound cake-like doughnut which was okay to me but I still prefer the birthday cake doughnut from Krispy Kreme I enjoyed the doughnuts (I shared with my sister, okay) & would love to try their other flavours next time I visit their shop. read more

Awesome doughnuts that are nice and chewy, and definitely on the heavier side. We went at around 11am on a Saturday, and the place was packed. We got half a dozen for $23, and we got Ferraro Rocher, Toasted Butter, Butter Pecan, white Chocolate Caramel and Chunky Monkey. If you're a Nutella or Ferraro Rocher fan, you'd love their Ferraro Rocher. If you're a pecan and toffee fan, you'd love their Butter Pecan. I am a big fan of donuts with filling, so GHD London Fog is my all time favourite. very tasty but not too sweet, well balanced and subtle flavour. they are not stingy on the filling which is great, generous amount of icing too. altogether it is a delicious donut. I've also tried the Pumpkin Pie donut, which I guess is a seasonal rotation variety, it is very good too. I am so happy that the stores remain open during Covid! read more

Stopped off here on an early Friday morning to a beautiful selection of large sized donuts, My friend and I split a pack of 6, and I selected the bear paw apple pie, and the chai brulee. I wasn't able to eat it until later in the evening but it definitely did not disappoint - I would suggest nuking it for 20 seconds and the filled ones (which I had) warms up making it that much tastier. Maybe my favourite food is apple pie, but the bear claw was absolutely delectable! The filling reminded me of McDonalds apple pie (which is the highest compliment coming from me!) - sweet, gooey with good apple texture. There was enough filling throughout the whole donut so every bite had some sweet gooey goodness! The chai brulee wasn't what I thought it would be but it was still tasty. The burnt topping smelled the part, but the filling was a little grainy and the chai flavour was very subtle. It was still good, but I don't know if it lived up to the "chai hype" I was also very intrigued by the cool t-shirts and take tops the store sold, including one that said F* Guilt Love what you eat... and don't worry about the rest, life's too short. read more

Why does no one ever comment on the absolutely foul name of this place? It is so off-putting for a food establishment that I have resisted going in. But today we were walking by & got a few to go & they were delicious.
