They even told me there were a few things they were fixing before delivery, so naturally I assumed it was solid. Three months later, it has spent almost that entire time in the shop. I've missed trips I had planned. I've taken one trip without water because the system wasn't working. Another trip ended with water leaking everywhere and damaging the cabinetry. Meanwhile, I've made all three payments on a van I've barely been able to use. Out of the 11 weeks I've owned it, it's been out of service for 9. And here's the frustrating part. Camping World is quick to sell you a unit, but when problems show up, the service drags. Everything is "waiting on parts" or "on order." No urgency, no ownership. When I finally asked about trading out of it into something reliable, their solution was to offer me wholesale value, nowhere near what I paid, on a van they sold me in this condition. That tells me everything I need to know. The relationship ends the second the paperwork is signed. They care about the transaction, not the customer. If you're shopping there, just understand that once they have your money, you may be on your own.

They told us it needed more work than it was worth. We are talking a 10 yr old camper. Upon returning for camper we found the door hinge was "broken". Too bad the best thing going for them is nice phone staff who can get you to come in but the rest is a waste. Girl at the front counter let me stand there for almost 5 mins while she was tending to her phone and scrolling social media. Thank you for a wasted day, broken hinge and insult of an offer

I was accused of being unreasonable and told of all the problems the owner was having. Nothing was accomplished after three and half weeks and when inquiring on when work might start was advised to take it someplace else due to long lead time of parts. Note, parts were never ordered and I believe were never identified. Very disappointing.

My RV stayed there 3 days before he had an estimate. When he contacted me, he stated that the one awning would require 6hrs of labor to repair, but if I were to replace all the awning material the labor cost would be close to the same, or a little additional if I got all of them done. I was good with that and asked him to send me a written estimate. When I received the estimate, it had an additional 8 hours of labor added for the repair. I called him the next day to question the additional labor and he stated that he was thinking about refusing service since I question the labor cost. I told him that I would come pick-up my RV. I think that he was a little overwhelmed with the repair since this was a high-end coach. He wasted 4 days of my time with nothing being accomplished. I do not recommend this repair facility.

Riley showed us the RV's we had interest in and then directed us to a Heartland unit. We then encountered the Factory Reps from Heartland. These guys were top notch! They listened to my wife and her wants, I had already noticed that the 2026 units had many of the features that I was looking for, they then told us about a floorplan that was not currently on display. They showed us many photos and videos of the 39FL. My wife fell in love with it! We spent nearly an hour questioning Riley and the Heartland guys and we ultimately decided to order the 39FL, without ever seeing one in person. A leap of faith for sure. The unit arrived about 2 month later. Jason kept me informed about the loan process and set the unit up for us to look at before we ever did any paperwork. The finance manager came in on his day off to allow us to complete our paperwork so that we could do our orientation and pick the unit up the following weekend. The entire team was helpful and made our experience a good one.

Some of the sales associates were quite nice but others can give you some odd looks when you don't fit a certain visual or expectation. We bought a trailer and weren't able to pick it up on the set date because it came with some "issues" even though it had been sitting in their lot for a while and was advertised as new. May have been related to factory built but still not great when you just bought a brand new trailer. The associate we had did work with us well throughout the financing/paperwork process. This locality also seems to me like they prefer a specific type of customer over others, so maybe not the most inclusive place. Also... this area of Chesapeake may overall not be the most inclusive. Hope that will change.
