I was just left there and felt as if they don't appreciate their regular customers. I usually go to Glow ( former name B Lucie) for my pedicure and my favorite tech left in Oct so I have been trying out the other nail techs. I was there on Friday for an appointment and my nail tech was running 15 minutes behind. I let the gentleman up front know that I had to be somewhere and still waited another 5 minutes after my appointment was supposed to start. Finally get to me and it was rushed and I didn't like my final color as it was too transparent --- getting a gel pedicure so was hoping that the multiple layers would darken it up. It didn't-- but I had somewhere to be. I come back 2 days later for a color change. I like the final product and I go to pay and they tried to charge me $40. I explained as I did when I came in that I was just there the day before and she said " you should have said something when you were here the first time". My response was that your tech was running late and I had to be somewhere so I came back today to fix it. Then the manager said well the best I can do is take $10 off. So I paid it even though I had just paid $60 the day before. no worries, I will be moving on to another salon that cares about their clients' satisfaction. read more

They seemed very nice when I walked through the door with my child, however, I was unfortunate enough to be "serviced" by who I believe to be the owners niece. When I first sat in the pedicure chair I told her I would like the water to be hot, however it was very cold. She was fidgeting with equipment for about the first 10 minutes after I sat down because she couldn't get the bubbles on for the "signature gel pedicure". I was not relaxed for the pedicure, as there were missing components like hot stones, paraffin wax, and a decent callous treatment. I'd expect my calluses to be shaved off completely, however they were only partially shaved off and the tech was looking away while doing it, so it hurt because she was scrubbing the middle of my foot harshly when it didn't need to be scrubbed. It also hurt during the first part of the calf massage when she was digging her fingers into my leg bones, causing harsh red marks all over my legs. It was unpleasant when my legs were super oily from the lotions and she tried to pull my pants down onto it, then proceeded to allow me to wipe the remaining oils off myself and bend to grab my shoes. The most important thing for me was that the whole time she was walking around the place and grabbing new things to use she was wearing the same dirty gloves she cleaned my feet with that weren't the cleanest when I walked in there. She even grabbed bath salts and lotion/leg mask with the nasty foot bath water dripping down the gloves... literally from the jar... I can only imagine how many people's dirty water has made it into that jar, but of course I didn't think of it until after the fact. I never saw her pull the tools she used on me out of a sterilized package, which is always what should be looked for when going to nail salons. When I was getting my manicure done (because I was too anxious to say anything yet), she filed off the top layer of my nails without consent, making them much thinner... then she proceeded to use a dirty and old makeup brush to "brush away" the filed shavings... how many people's skin is on that brush she just put on me??? So unsanitary, visibly dirty, and then she never told me to wash off my hands before putting nail polish on my hands, which could've avoided the whole makeup brush scenario in the first place. It also could've avoided all of the time I spent sitting in the chair with her piling on layers of gel polish just to eventually file it off... the excuse was that it was "pulling off because of hand oils"... washing my hands before putting on nail polish would've helped with that. I will admit that the owner did give a small discount for some of this, although he still rung it up as a "signature pedicure", which I still feel I never received because I never got the callus treatment I got the pedicure for in the first place, and no hot stones. Why ring it up as such when not everything was included. read more

This salon use to be the BEST place to go, that is when Lou owned it. Camie is still the BEST nail tech. She's super fast and your nails always come out perfect, no matter if you get dip or gel or acrylic or gel X. But ever since it's switched owners and became Glow it's gone way downhill. The place used to be packed, and I mean only 2 months ago, there's been a major difference. I feel like nobody goes there anymore because of how rude the new owner is. She can't even smile or tell you to have a good day or thank you for giving her business and talk about cheap. She won't give the punchcard to earn rewards if she gives you the 5% off for using cash, which I always do use cash there my 16-year-old daughter went in there without me the other day and asked for the 5% discount since she was paying with cash and the owner said "well it's only $2" Right and that $2 is going towards the $12 that I'm tipping I wish so bad that I could write an amazing 5 star review like I used to when it was B'Luice. It's so hard to find a good nail tech that doesn't take over an hour so hopefully the owner realizes that people want to continue to come here but not for long if she continues the unpleasant experiences. read more

I have only gotten "fake" nails done once before as an adult (when I was a teen I got acrylics but I barely remember). I really wanted to get a set to look extra nice for a work event I have coming up, and so I took a peek at the reviews to see what was nearby that may work for me to try. B'Lucie popped up, so I booked myself for a Gel X and pedicure. Annie did my nails and they look SO gorgeous. Reasonably priced, too, at $80 a set. I may consider keeping the nails for some of the summer, rather than just for the big event! Whether or not I decide to keep doing the sets, I'd recommend this nail salon to anyone. (Also HMart is opening next door quite soon, so would be a real benefit too). read more

The employees are delightful but the new owner is rude and disrespectful to customers

There was two different women who gave me a manicure and pedicure and my pedicure looks great the woman who did it exactly how I would expect someone to do a French tip but on the other hand, my nails were not at all what I wanted, the tip of my nails are way too thick. There's even bubbles in one of my nails and everything about is not what I wanted at all and I am probably never gonna go back Because this look is completely unnacceptable. Very disappointed. I scheduled my appointment the night before and got my appointment confirmation early in the morning. It's big, clean, plenty of chairs for Mani/pedi, and a WIDE variety of colors/brands. The quality in service was great. Everyone was very nice and professional. I've gotten so many great compliments on my nails and can't wait to go back! read more

I was planning to go here to get gel removed my feet and and get both redone. While she was doing my feet, she was hurting me really bad. She kept digging her nails into me and while using the drill, she almost cut me multiple times on each toe. My feet are extremely sensitive and hurt now because of this one lady. She got them done but now I'm going to be careful before they get infected. Then when it came down to getting acrylic done in my head, I was like don't do it because of how rough she wasn't my feet. She ends up using the drill on my fingers and she drilled a hole into my finger on the side and above it I have to now go to urgent care to make sure it doesn't get infected. They still made me pay for my toes and didn't charge me for my fingers but now I'm highly at risk at getting an infection. Please don't let this woman touch you at all. She has short black hair, glasses, and older. I'm literally traumatized and I'm not getting my nails done for a long time after this. Please be careful of who you go to there. I do not recommend ever going to this place generally but go at your own risk. read more

I went to B'Lucie on 5/11/24 to get a gel manicure by Louis, the owner. While he was doing my manicure he knocked over some nail glue all over my toes, foot and $95 slides. Louis then used acetone to attempt to remove the glue, which further ruined the slides. He told me that it would get better with water which I and another male staff attempted to wash off with no success. Then Louis said it would get better in a few days. I told him that I did not believe this would be the case and he could see from my facial expression that I was upset so he offered me a discount for my next appointment. I went back today, 6/7/24 to get my 12 year old niece a gel manicure and pedicure for her graduation so I figured I would use my discount. Well, Louis told me that I could not use the discount he offered me because it needed to be a service for myself and I could use it next time. Louis is very greedy and unprofessional. He refused to take responsibility for ruining my slides and refused to honor his offer. I attached a photo of my left slide. I definitely will not be going back. read more
