I came here for the first time today and will probably be coming back! The salon is pretty small but I found that they were pretty efficient. I walked in and was able to get seated within 5-10 minutes. I got a dip manicure ($45) with chrome powder ($20 extra for chrome), which I found to be pretty fair pricing, especially for this area. I thought my nails turned out great and everyone was very friendly. Edited down to 2 stars because the chrome layers on 5 of my fingers have peeled off after less than a week. With the extra $20 charge for the chrome, I would have expected them to last much longer. Posted an updated picture! read more

Gorgeous nails is AMAZING and I hope everyone who can can support them during this time. Back when I was in the area for school, I would come here every few weeks to get my nails done- for a college student, the price point is more than affordable, the people are soo nice, and the quality of the job is amazing. Typically get their gel manicure, but I can imagine their other services are also amazing, so definitely worth a try! Cannot recommend this place more and will definitely be coming back when I am back on campus. read more

Beautiful nails & amazing customer service. I made an appointment for me and my three girlfriends through Yelp, and Nat confirmed very quickly. Once we arrived, the technicians were all very friendly and patient. Even when the salon started to get busier, I did not feel rushed at all throughout my manicure and pedicure. I appreciate my massages and my first paraffin wax treatment. I highly recommend Nat. She did an amazing job with my nails and ensured that I was satisfied with everything. Natalie did my nails and she was awesome...so friendly and very talented. The whole experience was a pleasure. I took my niece to get a manicure as well (not sure who did hers) but we were both very happy with our manicures. We both tried dip with extensions for the first time and I'm looking forward to seeing how durable it is. I definitely plan on returning to support Gorgeous Nails! Gorgeous indeed! I called ahead and walked in on Sunday afternoon. My pedicure was very thorough and they put this wonderful exfoliating scrub all the way up my calves. It was truly a spa experience. I got a full set with gel and chose this iridescent polish which was put on masterfully and carefully. They got a little busy but I didn't feel rushed at all! I'm so happy because I live very close. Went with a friend to get my nails done and I won't be coming back. Made an appointment for gel nails, and was seated immediately (which was a plus). I picked my colors (I picked 5 since there was a trend I was interested in) and when she was removing my previous gel, she filed INTO my skin leaving a cut on my pinky. It was painful, but I'll survive. When she starts applying my colors, she informs me she will charge me 5$ extra for using more than 1 color. Mind you 5 colors over 2 nails versus 1 color over 10 nails doesn't make a difference but fine i'll pay up. However, my nails were even done properly. One tip was not completed and I have a bubble on my thumb. I left unhappy with paying more for nails that I didn't even like. read more

Came here for my first time and did not have the best experience. Came in for a dip mani and gel pedi. I just want to start by saying this is my regular combo and has been for years and none of the below happens-- just my first time getting it here. Started off with pedicure and let them know I usually got ingrown nails so a few were hurting. 1.5 hours later and we were still on the pedicure and hadn't even started on my mani. I let them know time was getting away from us and that I needed to be out of there soon as I had other plans. They were nice but kind of made me feel like I was being unreasonable so I just tried to keep my cool. They started working on my nails as they finished pedi and thankfully got my nails done in about 45 mins. I was pleased with the look of the nails, but truly was stressed out with how long it took and how late I was for my plans. Next day my toes began hurting and have been hurting since. Looks like they left some of the ingrown nail in there. 3 days later one nail completely came off. I went in and they were nice enough to fix it for me so I was thankful. By day 7, I had most of my nails coming off. On day 13 I had to go and get my nails completely redone elsewhere. read more

Got an acrylic full set, and the nail tech kept telling me she could do the shape I asked for when she could not. I had to leave and go buy nail supplies to fix myself....just for 3 of the nails to lift and pop off three days later. it hasn't even been four whole days yet.... it was rushed and sloppy. Keep that manicure fresh and come here for the great service at an affordable price! Gorgeous Nails is super convenient if you're near Cambridge. I've never had an issue finding parking and they usually have a ton of staff working, so they're pretty accommodating to get you in and out. Everyone who works here is very friendly and polite, too. It's also really nice that they accept Apple Pay and Venmo for both payments and tips. I've always felt that the salon is clean. There's a decent selection for color options. Note that they do charge you for removing gel or dip powder, even if you're just going for a refill. After your manicure has dried, they dip your hands in paraffin wax and give you lotion before you leave. If you're so inclined, they offer waxing as well. read more

Happy to say this is still my home nail salon! Natalie still is fantastic and the salon is up to par with Covid guidelines.They have plastic dividers between each chair and they take your temperature and offer sanitizer upon arrival. Anytime I call Natalie she's available - She is the friendliest and sweetest nail shop owner I've ever met and is so genuine with each of her customers. I really appreciate her shop and nail staff. Last photo pictured: Bubble bath OPI. Never in my life have I had a regular manicure. I was so surprised Natalie brought my natural nails to life!! It's so wonderful to know Natalie can do both natural and extension. She's a godsend! read more

Natalie and her team were incredibly wonderful and displayed amazing customer service the moment you walked in! I was treated with smiles, a bottle of water, and a genuine attitude of kindness and gratitude for coming to get my nails done there. I was so blown away by how kind and professional they were that time flew by! I got dip nails and it was $40 for a manicure and removal (which is more than reasonable for Boston prices!). The technician who did my nails had wonderful attention to detail and my nails came out absolutely phenomenal. They were incredibly patient with me as I'm a bit indecisive about colors, which was much appreciated! At the end of the manicure, they did a nice paraffin wax and a hand massage that was all included in the price. Overall, 10/10 experience and will be making this my regular place! read more

tbeir really nicr but I waited legit 50 minutes for a seat (I wouldn't have if I knew it was that long) for my gel manicure to chip in 2 days I was going to go back but the 3rd day for chipped and a whole nail peeled. simply don't waist ur money. also ripped a cuticle and gelled over it read more

The service here was great. Everyone was really nice. I got a gel mani and a regular pedi. It did take a long time, which I was surprised about. The gal even apologized a few times about how long it was taking. Not to get me in, but to actually get both the mani and pedi done. The reason for the three stars is that both on my toes and fingers she cut my cuticles back so far that I bled several times. Also, a few weeks after my appointment the skin above my cuticles started peeling, which has never happened to me before. It's like she cut them back so far that my other skin started to die as well. Besides that I had a good experience, I just can't give more stars because of the bleeding and such. read more

Took my daughter to get her nails done and the did such a terrible job that I go somewhere else to get it redone. Even though we told them that what they did not look like the picture they still would try to fixed their mistake. Nor did they offer refund or partial. This place is definitely a no-frills salon, but they get the job done. I called ahead on a random weekday and they said they could take me right away. All I needed was my gel manicure taken off and she was easily and quickly able to do that! Not sure if I'd come here for my normal mani/pedi but again, if you're just looking for a no-frills, non-fancy place, this is it. read more

I wanted to like this place, because it was inexpensive and they fit us in right away. Unfortunately, I can't truly write a positive review, for several reasons: 1. The woman cut several of my toes during the pedicure. I looked down and saw blood on both feet. She also barely scrubbed my feet with the pumice stone, and didn't do much in service of lotion/massage. 2. The color I selected for my gel mani was gorgeous. Too bad the woman rushed through, kept pushing my hands when she wanted me to switch them out of the dryer, and filed/trimmed them crookedly and at all different lengths (see photo). You can also see all the imperfections on each nail, and instead of taking her time, wiped the cuticle of each nail so it already looks outgrown two days later. The only good things here are the prices, the color selection, the ability to pay with venmo (if you try to pay with a card, they'll give you a hard time, even if it's accepted - I overheard this with another customer, not me) and the added paraffin wax. Some of the techs looked far more friendly/talented than mine, but that's a gamble up to you, my friends. Godspeed. read more

So I just moved down here from South Florida. I stick to one pedicure person & shes amazing! Anywho I wanted to something nice for myself. So on a Friday morning, I randomly called 3 different nail shops. I needed a gel overlay and a gel pedicure. The first 2 nail shops I called, literally told me they don't have time for that (the service I asked for). I think for me it was the tone & delivery but that's fine. Called this establishment & the person answered the phone politely and scheduled an appointment with me. Again, since I'm not from the area I was a few minutes late which was okay with them. Their staff was very polite and friendly. I didn't get any names but my toes felt great after and my nails seem like they'll last 3 weeks to a month. I originally went into a salon down the street and was told I'd have to come back in 30 minutes, so I popped into Gorgeous Nails Salon to see if it was a shorter wait. I said I wanted a dip powder manicure and was able to get my service started right away. I got a dip powder manicure by Natalie and it came out perfect! She was very kind, friendly, and took extra care to make sure the nails came out how I wanted them to look. I was impressed how quickly Natalie was able to do my nails and make them look so great! Came in to get a new dip manicure. They charge for taking off dip even if you're getting it again which is kind of strange to me but whatever it still ends up being a super reasonable price. My nails turned out great and the woman who did them was super nice, I wish I'd caught her name. The dip color selection isn't amazing yet but there's a good variety to choose from. I will say the color swatches don't look great at all so I was a little worried going into it but my nails were much better than the swatches. I also got a gel pedicure and it's nothing fancy but for what I needed it was great. The gel polish selection is A+ I wish my nails were strong enough to just get gel because they had some beautiful colors. Cleanliness is something that could definitely be worked on but all the tools were pulled from a sanitizer so I know those were okay. Made a same day appointment through yelp (they respond really quick). 3 hours later I go in for the appointment and they confirm by asking if my name is **** which, it is! I came in with a dip powder and wanted to change to gel. The appointment went well and my nails came out better than I had imagined!! I'm a repeat customer and I love coming here!! read more

My 2 friends and I made had our manicure and pedicure here and we all thought Natalie and her team did a fantastic job. We came in and immediately was greeted by Natalie. The pedicure was amazing. Not only did they paint our toenails, but they let you sit on massage chairs and give you the exfoliation and massage you needed. It was literally like a spa treatment. The manicure was also spot on. They handle your cuticle, underneath your nail, file them, paint them and ask if you are satisfied with the result. I had a specific nail design and color I asked for and Natalie made it happen. I have been to a couple different nail salons and this is one of the best ones I have been to. Natalie and her team do a thorough job and I'm looking forward to coming back here again. read more
