After reading the reviews on Natalie, I decided to give it a try. I've never done spray tanning before and was most definitely afraid of the streaks. Since their operating hours are the usual business hours, I had to come on my lunch break. According to the reviews, it usually takes about 15 mins in and out. My appointment was at 1:15, I arrived at 1:10, but I think the person before me started late so Natalie couldn't take me in until 1:25. Ten minute wait time is not terrible at all, but since I snuck out on my lunch - time is of the essence! The whole process took about twenty mins in total, including getting in and out of clothes. I made the mistake of thinking I can get waxing done after a couple of days, but Natalie said no - unless it's for the girl downstairs. Other than that no waxing any other body parts. I do not have the greatest body and standing butt naked in front of a stranger was almost as uncomfortable as can be imagined. But Natalie had NO wandering eyes, maintained eye contact with me the entire time. (Bless you for that) Shes very polite, it was in and out really. I took off one star because of the receptionist. Natalie said no bra after spraying, and of course I didn't have a bag on me. So I went out of the room holding onto my bra....I asked the girl in front for a bag and she looked like she was not having it. (LOL) I then paid and then she tried to sell me a package.. 5 for $495 or 1 for $69.. (I might've heard wrong and I hope I did) because 5 single times is $345 so I'm not sure how the 5 for $495 would be a "package deal" exactly. And when she said bye, she looked like she was grieving for someones death. (my condolences if you really were) The girl she was training smiled and greeted me bye. LOL if you're not in the state to do customer service, maybe you should take a 5 min breather. Nonetheless, i would come back. Natalie was great. This tan looks great and super natural. read more

NEVER GO HERE. UNRELIABLE. I made an appointment here about 2 months ago for today. After going back and forth with Natalie many times to try and find an appointment we settled for 7pm. A time that would work for both of us. Yesterday we receive a call saying she has an "emergency" and can only take me at 6. I said i would try my best. On my way to see her today I called to inform her that I would be 15 minutes late due to traffic and the respond was that she had dinner reservations at 6:30 and could not wait. DINNER RESERVATIONS WAS HER EMERGENCY. She did not try to find an alternative time for us to meet and in fact didn't even get on the phone with us. She made the secretary tell us she would not meet with us. Will definitely never come back here. read more

I can't say enough good things about Natalie and her work! First off, she has the best personality - she's friendly, energetic, knowledgeable, cultured, and a great conversationalist - don't underestimate the importance of this when you are standing naked in front of a stranger for 15 minutes! When you meet her you feel like you have known her forever and talking with her is like catching up with an old friend. Natalie is a perfectionist who truly takes pride in her work and cares about her clients and their satisfaction with their spray tan. I bought a package so I saw Natalie on several occasions. She custom mixes the tanning formula to achieve your desired color. Before your appointment: I recommend getting there before your scheduled time and calling if you're cutting it close because Natalie is very punctual and has a packed schedule of clients (she's in high demand!) Her studio is in the back of the salon to the left. There is a single bathroom in the back to the right (no paper towels) and an ATM if you need it. Basically, come clean and exfoliated without makeup or deodorant and bring loose dark clothing to change into. I would add flip flops to the list too. (Make sure the shirt you bring can be worn without a bra.) If you need a mani/pedi or shower, do it before your session because your skin can't get wet after. Bring cash for her tip! During your appointment: Natalie tells you what to do before, during, and after you tanning session. A shower cap, hair tie, baby wipes, disposable thong, and stickies for the bottoms of your feet are provided. She paints liquid latex on your fingernails and toenails to prevent discoloration (it doesn't damage gels and peels off easily). Natalie walk you through a series of positions to stand in as you get sprayed. When she's done you can check yourself out in the mirror to make sure you're happy. She sets you up in front of fans (and heat lamps if it's cold out) to dry. After your appointment: Try not to sweat, so now is not the time to schedule that 6am spin class for the following day. Be careful if it's raining or if your eyes water. Touching your skin with your fingertips will tan those too so try to avoid it (I learned this the hard way). Make sure you have old sheets on your bed too. I'd recommend sleeping in an old, loose white or light colored cotton tee. My tan will look its best the few days following my session and will fade throughout the following week. Using a gradual tanning lotion like the one by St. Tropez can extend your tan once it starts to fade. I only had one instance where my tan didn't come out as planned and Natalie was quick to get me in for a touch up which I found very professional and clearly appreciated. Let me just tell you, I am super super pale and Natalie makes you look perfectly sun kissed. Long story short - such an awesome spray tan and you will walk out super happy. When you get there she puts latex on your nails so your manicure does not get messed up, gives you a shower cap, disposable thong and sticky feet. She also provides face wipes so that you can take off your makeup. Natalie is super sweet and gives you the low down - don't shower for 8 hours, when you do shower only rinse no soap. If you are going into water it will fade quicker etc. During the spraying she shows you each position and it's super quick and easy. You then stand in front on fans for a few minutes an you're on your way. Located on the 5th floor and there is an ATM for tip. read more

SOOO I've never had a spray tan before and felt like it was very necessary after the longest winter on the planet. Bought a voucher on gilt, $35 for a spray tan instead of the usual $69. The spray bar is actually apart of the Roman K. salon on 5th avenue. The salon is very clean, nicely decorated and comfortable. The staff is friendly and professional. I was nervous about my first spray tan because it's being fully naked in front of another person you don't know, but Amanda was friendly, professional and made me feel comfortable. The spray itself takes about 5 minutes tops, then you dry for 2 minutes. I can't say how OBSESSED i am with my new tan. It's soo even, natural and beautiful!
