It was expensive but worth every penny- they sound proofed an entire wall in 1 room (and both doors) and the work was flawless- it's an entire fabric wall (we got to pick the color) and it blends seamlessly. With my door closed, the noise reduction from my hubby's room is reduced by like 75%. We are very pleased with the result and highly recommend this company! I couldn't be more impressed with this company, their level of service, speed and friendliness. I just took on an 850sq ft, high ceiling office in Malibu. I do a lot of video and live broadcasting in my work, and the acoustics in my new place were a real problem. It sounded like a cavern, with really echoey reverb throughout the whole space. On Tuesday afternoon I called GM acoustic design because of how well recommended they were online. Keren was incredibly helpful on the phone and 3 hours later, Yaniv had driven 1 hour to my place to make an assessment and give me a quote. It is now five days later and even with a need for custom made panels, and installation, the whole job is done. Not only do the sound panels look great, there is about a 60 to 70% reduction in the reverb. It's hard to believe you are in the same place. GM Acoustics did an amazing job installing high density foam panels, diffusers and clouds in the music studio I set up in my garage. The panels do such a great job in reducing the standing waves in the room so I can accurately hear what's going on when mixing, without the excessive reverberation that was present before. The before and after is literally like night and day. Multiple professional mixing engineers told me so many times "the room is the MOST important aspect of your mix", yet I still worked in a non-treated room for years. When Avi showed up, and we had a discussion he once again reiterated that the "room was the MOST important", drilling that fact into my head yet again. So glad I found these guys. I had a recording studio with reverb and bass frequency problems. I called for the consultation and was really impressed with Yaniv - who I believe is the owner. He was able to pinpoint where the problems spots were and recommended the acoustic treatments needed. He is a musician as well so he understood my situation. He really took the time to listen to my needs and work with my budget. I ended up needing some acoustic panels and bass traps in the corners. When I compared prices I found one quote lower and one higher so GM Design seemed fare. The installers were professional and respectful of my studio space during installation. and WOW! what a difference when they were done. The room is dead - meaning no echoing and no bass cancelations. I can hear my mixes much better now and my vocal recordings no longer have unintentional reverb and echo on them;) I can't recommend these guys enough.
