I needed 6 palm trees removed including roots. Greg and team were quick to respond to my text, gave a next day quote after they drove by, and we're scheduled to come w days later. Just before our appointment time, a team of 4 people came. They quickly cut down 6 palm trees. When they were removing the roots, they surrounded the area with blankets to prevent any damage to the walls nearby. Gregs team is very professional, reasonably priced, and most importantly reliable. Greg at GM tree and Landscaping was incredible to work with. I called him and scheduled a time for him to come out to give me an estimate for clearing our hillside, which was close to a quarter of an acre of overgrown trees and shrubs that were potentially going to be a fire danger for us as we head into the hotter season. The job itself was huge and I've had two people come and then leave within an hour of beginning the job. So when Greg came out to give me an estimate and then told me he would be here the following Saturday with his crew, I was cautiously optimistic. The estimate was more than fair considered what I had been quoted previously and still had not received the promised servicesGreg showed up on Saturday morning with his crew, a huge trailer to haul away all of the shrub and got to work. They worked for close to eight hours and finished the job in one day. For the first time since we've owned this property, we could truly see the scope and magnitude of the land and its potential because of the clearance, I highly highly recommend Greg and his team for their anyone's landscaping needs and look forward to using them as we design our backyard so that the overgrown shrubs and weeds don't return. Listened to what I wanted done, which was a Strawberry tree I wanted taken out (including stump and roots, a Liquid Amber tree that kept trying to come back and two large trees trimmed, shaped, and laced. He was ok with fixing a leak caused by the Strawberry Trees roots. He made suggestions as we went, offered to include some things, and listed to my desire not to have the trees over cut. His was was among the lower bids of five and he did all I requested and even more (cut and shaped my bougainvilleas, cut and shaped my phoenix palms and even cut the lawn. Lastly he bdid a nice job cleaning up and fixed a sprinkler issue. He did all he said he would and more. I highly recommend him and will use him for future yard needs! Greg was the first to respond but his communication isn't great. When scheduling I told him I was available any day BEFORE noon. We scheduled a day and I confirmed it would be before noon and he said yes. He showed up at 3... thankfully my husband was home but he was working. I would have loved to have used this company because it was definitely the cheapest quote I got but even after getting an estimate he would just ghost. I asked if his company was licensed and insured and he never responded. Found Greg and his crew when looking for someone to remove a very large pine tree that completely obscured the house and dropped pine needles constantly. The pollen was particularly heavy and neighbors were complaining about respiratory problems. Reached out to several companies. Greg was the first to respond, first to come out to look at the tree and ended up being the lowest of five bids. Once we decided to use his services, he came out the next business day with a crew of four. I watched as they very quickly and expertly took down this 60-foot-tall monster of a tree. They worked so well together. By the end of the day, all that was left was firewood and the stump. They came back the next morning and finished the job, even going so far as to spread the mulch around all the plants, fixing a broken chain-link fence and replanting a shrub to fill in a gap caused by an old branch that had grown out of control and pushed threw the fence, all at no extra charge. They, of course, cleaned up the mess caused by the tree removal and left the yard looking better than before. Curb appeal has gone up 100%. Thanks, Greg! read more
