Never thought I would visit a GNC store but I needed to. Ive been to one like a decade ago looking for certain type of whey protein at the store in Beverly Center but since then, this is my first visit ever. I was looking for specific supplement and I couldnt find any in Rite Aid because its definitely not too common for anyone to look for this. I would get my employee discount at Rite Aid so it would be cheaper but its okay as long as I get what I need. Checking out was a breeze! I went and asked for it, looked for it, I happen to find the last bottle while the guy helped me look. Took it to the register, paid but didnt get my receipt because the register was acting up. He said he will email a copy of my receipt but I never got it. I dont think I will return it but yeah it is what it is. The guy helping me had a great customer service and I will definitely be back to get my bottle when its due. read more

Drove 30+ minutes since there isn't a location near me and the door was locked at 645pm. The hours on the door says closes at 8pm. When i tried to call (about 5 times), there was no answer and the hours said they close at 9pm. Came back at 715 and waited for 30 minutes and still locked! Closing a few minutes early, fine, i can get over that. CLOSING ALMOST 1.5 HOURS EARLY? Do y'all even care? I see several other reviews on here about the store being closed during operating hours. Do they know how disrespectful that is to customers? I'm not going to GNC anymore. I'm going to find a small business to support that actually values their customers. Actually, this is a very convenient GNC location off the 110 Freeway. (Fair Oaks Ave. exit) It has many of the popular supplements and bodybuilding shakes. The staff here is very friendly. I have been to this location twice this month and have received good consistent service. NOTE: This GNC is that it is extremely tiny. SO, if you are coming here....call the store to verify that they have what you want (i.e. a particular flavor of a protein shake...etc.) since their inventory is obviously limited by the size of the store. read more

So much fuss over $5. I walked into the store to buy a protein drink, and the girls at the register asked if I wanted to buy a Star Wars shaker cup for May the 4th, and I said sure, why not. I had no idea how much they cost, but it didn't matter. I handed them $30 in cash, and received $2 and change back as we were chatting about the member benefits of the store, so I should have paid more attention to what I was getting back. There's no way a shaker cup and a $4 protein shake is going to cost $28. I realized this when I got home, so I called the store to let them know, and the cashier was TALKING OVER ME insisting that she gave me the correct amount of change. "NO, I gave you a $5, I remember because it was under the singles in my hand. I remember giving you $5 back. You must have dropped it or lost it or something." I mean, really?? Look, I don't care about the cash anymore, but an apology and an offer to check your recent transactions or your balance when you close out the register would've been a nice gesture. In fact, I suggested that they call me when they close out the register because I know it'll be $5 over. But yelling over me and not even letting me get a word in over the phone is just plain rude. To top it off, I gave my e-mail for a receipt instead of a printed copy and I never received that receipt. I'm never going back here again for the rude customer service. And Amazon is much, much cheaper for supplements. read more

GNC is a chain that spreads its love all over. I went to the one in South Pas, which was immediately adjacent to Phoenix. I stopped in as I was waiting for my order at Phoenix. The staff was fit. He looked the part. I told him of my woes of chronic insomnia. He recommended ZMA Max for $29.99. He claimed that he takes it himself and that it gives REM sleep. I was in disbelief. I thought it would be just like Melotonin- weak- not for someone with serious insomnia like myself. He recommended I take 2. I took 2, but didn't feel sleepy so I took another 2. ZMA Max gave me lucid dreams. I had a dream that I was at a farm. I recall biting into a fruit and the taste was vivid as I was actually tasting it. I also bought an ostrich jerky at GNC. It staved off hunger for hours and it didn't taste gamey. read more

This place is ok. It has all the basic GNC products, but they lack the selection that other GNC's have (like the store at the Beverly Center). I do enjoy the fact that they do not try to push any products on you here. Advice: always do your research beforehand, and go in there knowing exactly what you want. I called this place because I was a little lost, but the girl today who answered the phone was really nice and led me right to the exact spot. It's located next to Starbucks and a restaurant on the Fair Oaks side of the street. The place is fully stocked with all your Health needs. I really like going to the GNC stores located inside the mall's because the associate's are very helping and friendly. Since I didn't have time to drive all the way to the mall I decided to stop by this little GNC store I pass by on my way to work everyday. I was accompanied by my sister who came to visit me for the day and wow,worst experience ever. I came in to buy some vitamin c face moisturizer and as I walked in no one was in sight. Then outta no where we see this guy and he asks if we needed assistance, so I greet him and ask if he can help me find the cream I was looking for. He proceeded to take us to the shelf where creams we stocked and he just stood there watching me read the labels (-_-). I got my creams and walked up to the counter to pay and my sister was looking at a bottle of fat burner which she thought was a cream and ask the guy if she could apply it to her face, he looked at her like she was a complete idiot and said, "that's a powder" (with a face expression that said "stupidity")she then responded apologizeing saying she confused it with a cream. Purchased GNC brand MEGAMEN soft chew multivitamin on discount. Each piece is melted inside the foil looking wrapping, impossible to unwrap without leaving half of the vitamin still stuck on the wrapping. i've been to this GNC multiple times b/c its on the way to the gym. theres ample parking. its next to starbucks and phoenix so its also convenient if you want other things. yea, its on the small side however they always have what i want, and that is protein shakes with large amounts of calories which i need to down to keep from disappearing. and yes, its easy to find too, right off the 101. another plus is that the employees that work here have all been friendly and helpful. if you want to play 20 questions, theyre ready. read more
