    Almond Macadamia Latte
    Page R.

The Almond Macadamia is really good. It taste very nutty/macadamia which tells me its fresh and properly cared for. Not much to say I really enjoyed this latte.

I was walking our pup and stopped in for breakfast. Service was friendly. Food was just OK probably wouldn't come again. The macho was OK. The atmosphere was really nice. Sat outside with the pup. Lots of people nice to have an outside seating area. Maybe it was just what we got that's why I feel like the food was just OK. I got an avocado toast and it was a plain piece of toast with sliced avocado and maybe I was expecting mashed. I ordered eggs on top of it and they came on the side and they were super runny and mushy. The lax bagel was also very average but it was a new place so we wanted to check it out.

The staff here is so nice and the matcha is really good. Love coming here to get a good drink.

We tried this place as a delivery order for a work day. I got a regular latte with 3 shots and it was really good. My coworker got a lavender honey matcha and she said she didn't like it. We also got a breakfast burritos - the bacon avocado one and it was okay. Sauces were great but the burrito itself was okay. Should I give it a shot and try it in person? So far the only thing I like was the latte.

First of all. Shout out to the amazing manager Austin! He provided the best service and makes everyone feel so welcome even at the early and barely waking up hours of 7am. The coffee shop itself is located within the one building that is surrounded by other great eats, but this coffee shop has such a nice aesthetic and relaxing ambiance. It also serves DELICIOUS food and drinks. Most coffee shops in this area don't serve quality food, but if you want a spot that does it all I suggest going here! Best lox I've had at any coffee shop and I cannot wait to try the other food next! My only suggestion is to come early because it does get busy here and parking can get tough so make sure you beat the morning rush! Side note: drinks ordered were also amazing!

Compared to the Santa Monica outlet, the Culver City one was surely my pick. Huge open space even with nicely shaded patio in front. The contemporary design got me hooked and the fact that the indoor space was so chilly made it perfect for summer days. Their Iced Almond Macadamia Latte intrigued me especially since I mostly went plant based alternative for my latte, also knowing it's apparently very popular. The default seemed to be unsweetened as when I ordered I was asked if I wanna get it 'Sweety', which was their jargon for sweetened (throw me away at first). I got it sweetened but I'd say the sweetness was kinda subtle; I might even prefer slightly more. Almost forgot to mention, they did serve it hot which I tried and was fond of.

First time at this location but familiar with them from Row DTLA. Great coffee as always. The space is nice and convenient for various appointments and errands in Culver City.

Service was relatively quick. Ordered a breakfast burrito- 1 star off for not listing what's in the burrito anywhere in the store. The ratio of burrito fillings to wrap is less than ideal- I found that it was a lot of bread, and not a lot of substance. The space is cute- lots of indoor and outdoor space to grab coffee and to work.

Food was ok. Everyone is super nice & cool place to study or work. i tried to coffee before and it was good but dont come here for breakfast unless you're super hungry

Lil sweetie & sweet honey latte
    Nicole D.

We got their specials, the lil sweetie and the sweet honey latte. Both were really good! I really liked the lil sweetie bc it wasn't too sweet and it was also in a 12 oz. Both were fairly priced (~$6-7). I think oat was an additional charge. Parking: only metered street parking and neighborhood parking. Ambiance: plenty of indoor seating and outdoor seating. Can get a bit loud due to being near other restaurants and downtown culver.

This not look nor taste like an Oatmilk Latte. So gross.
    Rocky B.

Ordered an Iced Oatmilk Latte and I got some brown watered down liquid that was undrinkable. Oatmilk is supposed to be creamy not watery. Ended up tossing it and heading to another coffee shop.

Not a huge fan of the Matcha here. It's unfortunate that they don't have the option to make it without dairy. This location gets quite busy and parking is difficult too. Not worth returning for me.

Avocado Toast and Iced Honey Matcha

This is a good spot for a quick bite. Their menu is not super vast with non-coffee options. They have a pre-made matcha that is good but not great and it comes iced. I had the matcha and avocado toast. Everything was good and service was quick. You can tell it is a fan favorite because there's also a good amount of people outside enjoying the day. There's a good amount of seating both inside and outside

Aesthetic café with great drinks, tons of outlets, and chill energy. Ideal for laptop days when you want something cute but productive.

Ask the Community - Go Get Em Tiger

Is the noise ok to take a zoom meeting at the shop?

It's usually crowded, so too noisy for a zoom meeting, but outdoor seats could work.

The Cometeer website lists Go Get Em Tiger as a retailer. May I buy Cometeer at the Culver City location?

They have a cometeer Fridge at culver and several other locations. You'll see it as soon as you walk in, it's right beside the pastry case and retail coffee wall.…

He informed us of their most popular items on their menu. During this visit we tried their Banana Pudding Donut, Fresh Strawberry Milk Cream Donut, Roasted Sweet Corn, Chocolate Chip Cookie, Hazelnut Latte and Caramel Latte. All 3 donuts were good and not too sweet. The Banana Pudding Donut was yummy. You can taste the banana that blends in well with the creamy pudding. The Roasted Sweet Corn was unique in taste. It was my favorite. Fresh Strawberry Milk Cream was also delicious. There's a hint of tanginess that balances the sweet taste of the donut. Hazelnut Latte and Caramel Latte went perfectly well with donuts and Chocolate Chip Cookie. Their Chocolate Chip Cookie is plentiful and contained lots of chocolate chips. Cafe Knotted is now added to our go to list for yummy pastries and donuts. We have also informed our social circles to try this place out. Can't wait to come back and try other food items on Cafe Knotted's menu.

The strawberry matcha was gross--but also the staff didn't seem to really know how to make it? Grainy matcha, and they used the verrrrrrry last remnants (I'm talking squeezing out droplets) of a squeeze strawberry mix. The worst part??? The service. Absolutely terrible service. It was a hot day, and so we asked for ice water with our order. You would have thought we were ASKING FOR GOLD, the way the employees got so huffy and rude!!! After confirming we were Paying Customers, they proceeded to talk under their breath about how they were going to switch to bottled water so "people couldn't get free water" anymore, suuuuuper cool to hear! I didn't think asking for water with a $25 order would be crazy, but they sure went out of there way to make sure I did!!! Weirdos. So yes, I'll never be back here, bad service and bad drinks/donuts, hope it closes!

Walked in on a Sunday around 11:30am, restaurant maybe a quarter full. Seated in a corner with incomplete silverware, no menus for several minutes, no water for even longer. Waited another 10-15 minutes with menus in hand before anyone came to take our order. The food wait aside, what really stood out was the lack of basic check-ins. No "sorry for the wait," no acknowledgment, and when I finally asked for the bill, the manager came over with the terminal, took payment, and walked off without much of a follow-up except to hand over boxes. Just a little warmth goes a long way! Food, when it arrived: * Landwer's Pancakes: the highlight. Three pancakes tall with seasonal fruit, whipped cream, Nutella, and maple syrup. Delicious and a generous portion. * Croissant Sandwich: disappointing. Tough, chewy croissant with thinner filling than the bread size warranted. Hard to get a clean bite. The Century City location is convenient, and parking on weekend mornings is easy before the crowds roll in.

I've been to Cafe Landwer a few times over the years, and it was usually decent. After today,…read morethough, I don't have any interest in returning. My friend and I made a reservation for outdoor dining for brunch. We arrive right around our reservation time to find nobody at the podium. After a few minutes, a woman comes up and asks, "For two?" before immediately turning around and walking the other way, to which point we stop her and say that we actually had a reservation which we gave her all the details for. She stopped for about half a second, grabbed menus, then turned around again and brought the menus to an indoor table, then just walked away without making eye contact. She did not even tell us to follow her nor say a single word to us once we were seated. No worries, right? Wrong. We perused the menus and waited for about ten minutes, with no staff members coming by to help us. We started looking around to try to flag someone down, but each staff member was either not looking in our direction and/or wearing a different outfit from the next staff member, with some outfits almost having a nightclub aesthetic than wait staff. Eventually, another individual comes by our table and, again, without greeting us or making any eye contact, aloofly says, "Just order off the QR code," which we didn't see because the menus were covering it. Now, my friend who I was with works in the mall, and I know the restaurant offers a discount for mall employees, so as the employee was walking away, I called out and asked if we would still get the discount if ordering off the QR code, and he said yes. Note that in all the times my friend and I have eaten here in the past, it was always traditional table service. Then, we go to place our order, and after adding everything to the basket, it tries to charge my credit card. At this point, almost 20 minutes had gone by since we arrived, with still no single greeting or water or silverware set or anything. I get up to speak to another waiter who was helping nearby tables, to which I am again told to just order off the QR code but was reassured that the mall discount would be applied once the tab was settled. So we oblige and place our order through the portal. Several minutes later, the same waiter who I had most recently spoken with had come to our table (mind you, this is the first time someone came to our table in the entire time we were seated) and said that the restaurant was out of some of the items on our menu. And it was at this point that we FINALLY got waters. At this point, we had to look through the menu again, but it was getting to the point where we were going to miss our movie, so we had to just abandon ship and eat at the mall food court. Upon leaving, the only acknowledgement we got was from the first woman who "brought" us to our table, which was a petty smile and wave. Allow me to make myself clear. I hold no animosity against any establishment for being short-staffed, for requiring QR code ordering, or for being out of ingredients. This stuff just happens. What I do have an issue with is the astounding lack of any grace or hospitality, without even a simple "Whenever you're ready go ahead and use the QR codes on the table" or even a welcome. It just felt as though every person was just trying to get by with doing the bare minimum, and every employee had attitude. Even the couple next to us, who had been seated before we arrived, never got acknowledged. It's honestly a shame, because many of the items here are great, and the offerings are unique, but if this is how Cafe Landwer chooses to operate and treat its customers, I won't be back.
