My go to coffee place in downtown Culver City. The menu and staff have changed quite a bit in the past few years, but the service, food and coffee have remained consistently solid. My go to coffee is an oat milk latte, and depending on how hungry I am, either the protein brekkie or one of their burritos (love both homemade salsa that come with them). Pastries and bagels are from Jyan Isaac bread, and I particularly like the plain croissant. Lucky is the fantastic manager who always remembers the regulars, but everyone on the staff is professional and friendly. P.S. Their patio is dog friendly. read more

2 stars for making a surprisingly different vanilla oatmilk latte. I couldnt quite put my finger on what I was experiencing however. I did find myself wanting to keep drinking, but mainly to figure out if I liked it. My taste buds went through a ride each time...woh kind of "sour", but no...it's alright...to...not 100% whether I actually like this or not. Was the oatmilk bad? The coffee beans they use? Vanilla lattes are my go-to coffee order so I've tried a lot of these. I can say did not like this "roller coaster ride" at 7:30 in the morning. I would've gone up to the counter to nicely ask for something else, but had an appointment I already left for. I ended up throwing half of it away! So sad. The macadamia nut banana bread was hefty in portion (appreciated) and moist. It was nice. This space is a nice, sunny vibe to work, read, pass some time. People come and go so there was plenty of available tables or bench seats. Service was stellar. Everyone was professional and pleasant. There was one person making the drinks, but he moved with purpose and pumped drinks out much faster than any Starbucks (for reference). I wouldn't stop here again. Super mid coffee with very uncomfortable seating and annoying wifi. My friends and I all got different iced coffee drinks and all found them to be pretty weak in strength and flavor. The space is cute, but cute does not equal comfort. I had picked GGET based on suggestions for a place to work, and I wouldn't really suggest this is good for that. I was walking our pup and stopped in for breakfast. Service was friendly. Food was just OK probably wouldn't come again. The macho was OK. The atmosphere was really nice. Sat outside with the pup. Lots of people nice to have an outside seating area. Maybe it was just what we got that's why I feel like the food was just OK. I got an avocado toast and it was a plain piece of toast with sliced avocado and maybe I was expecting mashed. First of all. Shout out to the amazing manager Austin! He provided the best service and makes everyone feel so welcome even at the early and barely waking up hours of 7am. The coffee shop itself is located within the one building that is surrounded by other great eats, but this coffee shop has such a nice aesthetic and relaxing ambiance. It also serves DELICIOUS food and drinks. Most coffee shops in this area don't serve quality food, but if you want a spot that does it all I suggest going here! Best lox I've had at any coffee shop and I cannot wait to try the other food next! Compared to the Santa Monica outlet, the Culver City one was surely my pick. Huge open space even with nicely shaded patio in front. The contemporary design got me hooked and the fact that the indoor space was so chilly made it perfect for summer days. Their Iced Almond Macadamia Latte intrigued me especially since I mostly went plant based alternative for my latte, also knowing it's apparently very popular. The default seemed to be unsweetened as when I ordered I was asked if I wanna get it 'Sweety', which was their jargon for sweetened (throw me away at first). I got it sweetened but I'd say the sweetness was kinda subtle; I might even prefer slightly more. Almost forgot to mention, they did serve it hot which I tried and was fond of. read more

I had a meeting at the Go Get Em Tiger in Culver City, a place I would otherwise never visit, as I don't really drink coffee and have a Go Get Em Tiger much closer to home. This location was nice, much bigger than the one on Larchmont, with a bright, colorful look. Parking sucked, but there were a bunch of one-hour spots right in front that opened up with some regularity. I got one of those and just gambled that I wouldn't get a ticket if the meeting ran long. Thankfully, I bet correct. Service was fast and friendly. I got an ice coffee and it was strong and tasty. I am very much not an expert, but it seemed like good coffee to me. We needed a quiet place for three of us to sit and chat, and we found it in the lobby of the building, which had what looked like an indoor version of the Culver Steps, with cushions to make them comfortable. We hung out for a while and it felt easy and pleasant. I don't know when I'd come back here, but if you're a coffee drinker in Culver City, you should definitely hit up Go Get Em Tiger. As a matcha lover, I was apathetic about Go Get Em Tiger's matcha. There are much better matcha lattes in LA. I visited on a Sunday afternoon, and the store was mostly empty. The store interior was beautiful and sunny, a perfect peaceful study spot. I ordered the Iced Honey Matcha Latte. I wanted to love it, but I just didn't. The matcha taste was so faint, and the honey flavor did not come across. The Vegan Strawberry Muffin was much better. I definitely like this spot because it wasn't as crowded as next-door and I don't like places being too packed! While I usually come here for drinks, I thought it would be good to give their quick bites a try. I have had my eye on trying their bean & cheese burrito as I love myself chipotle cream and noticed that is included in their version of this classic dish. So needless to say, I was excited to finally place my order today for lunch. As I got there before my order was ready, I was able to sit near the exit and observe the cooks prep the food in the back. To my dismay I noted that my burrito entails just one very small scoop of beans in one extra-large tortilla. In my attached picture you can see just how little beans I received in this burrito.. for $9.00 I would minimally expect 2 heaping scoops as the cost is nothing near what meat would cost per serving to the food joint!? If they choose to keep this on the menu, I would advise for 2 scoops minimum OR a drastic decrease in price to $4.00 and advertise as a non-fried flauta. Flavor wise, the flavor was lacking and the salt was heavy. I will pass on this moving forward and I suggest you do the same. read more

The bacon had a great smoked flavor and the bun wrapped all of these ingredients into a satisfying sandwich. Salmon bagel was delicious, drinks always pretty and tasty, and had a random convo with a couple about their doggo and post 2024 election politics lol. Pro tip, the One Building that houses all this is FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.
