The Campfire Latte was absolutely delicious. It was so good I found myself coming back for a second one the very same day. Smooth, cozy, and just the right balance of sweet without being overpowering. Definitely one I'll be ordering again.

Location & First Impressions We stopped by this coffee shop while my nephew was taking his DMV driving test. The shop is very small and within walking distance of the DMV, which made it convenient. It used to be called Mañana Coffee, and it still shows up that way on Google Maps, but it has since changed its name to Super Domestic. Coffee & Food We ordered a large vanilla bourbon latte, which came out to $9 (with an extra charge of $1 for the large size). Honestly, it felt overpriced for what it was. My sister took one sip and didn't like it at all, so I ended up drinking it. To me, it tasted like a homemade iced coffee nothing bad, but nothing special either. My sister also got a croissant for my 2 year old nephew, and while he ate it with no complaints, she said it was very basic. It was $6.50. They also sell kombucha, but the small can sized ones were around $7, which felt steep. I noticed they also have a small ice cream selection, but we didn't try it. Space & Atmosphere The shop itself is cute but very small. There were a few people ahead of us in line, and the space felt tight. There are a couple of stools and a small bar style seating area, but it's not really a place to sit and relax for long. They also sell some merchandise like shirts and coffee products, which is a nice touch. Payment and Receipt They don't accept cash and only offer digital receipts through text or email. Service The barista/cashier was friendly and helpful, which definitely made the experience better. The shop has a welcoming vibe despite the limited space.

Food: I only got the croissant for my toddler but tbh I had a piece and didn't give me wow vibes. It tasted like a Costco bagel for $6, not worth it. I also got their most liked coffee and let's just say it tasted so plain and nothing exciting . Coffee shops I go to have some type of special flavor or something special like cold foam on top but for 9$ ( I got the large) it felt like a scam. I honestly felt like it tasted like regular plain iced coffee I could've made at home. Maybe their s'mores one would've been better but the barista said that one was better. Service: regular service nothing too special and not horrible as well. I just didn't like that the guy saw me struggle reach for my cash under the stroller and then tell me he didn't accept cash. Could've said that in the first place. Also don't like that as well. I believe every place should accept cash because not everyone has cards or Apple Pay. Atmosphere: Very small maybe around 3 seats looking out the window ( booth seats) and that's it. Very small inside.

Customer service what it should be. Smile waiting for you as you walk in. Coffee to order done right or they will make it right. In the neighborhood a must stop

First timer for their Washington spot, but have been a regular to the one near Jasmine. I loved how their outlets were all simply designed, carrying their iconic photo corners, and tons of green scenes! Definitely feel like neighborhood coffee shop that's not overwhelming with the crowd and noise. The baristas were all super welcoming as well. I mostly got my coffee for to-go from Super Domestic especially when it's summer as their seats were mainly the outdoor patio. I have been a fan of their Fox Toffee Latte as well as Bourbon Vanilla Latte, but this time I gave their New Orleans Cold Brew a try and they once again got my A+! The price was more on the high range, but considering it's LA, prolly I just needed to get used to it LOL. Besides it tasted good and gave that strong caffeine kick so certainly worth the tag.

Great lattes with delicious syrups, but unfortunately had the rudest baristas this morning. One was staring me and my friend down while we decided on what we wanted (mind you there were no other customers in the store at this time). Then, she literally rolled her eyes when I didn't leave a tip. Thank goodness I didn't tip because what was that? I'd recommend the other location on Culver Blvd -- still has great coffee and the baristas were kind

Good coffee. Went for the popular ice vanilla burbon and it was pretty damn flavorable. Service was fast and very friendly. Also love how the setup of this coffee shop is. A lot of plants! Also they do this clever thing for tips! (Toy Story 2 by a landslide)

We came here because the owner donated to our daughter's elementary school. Very cool of them 5 stars. The vanilla bourbon latte was great. Oscar is always very helpful. They have a lot of single origin coffees and cool candles with national parks on them.

It's chill and local. I was in the area and bookmarked it because the exterior is cute. All the dog photos up definitely up the desire to come back but sadly the prices don't, I can't be paying seven bucks for cold brews. What the heck is going on in Cali these days to account for these prices. Oh well. Its cute and coffee is good. Pastries are coo but nothing in particular I like which is fine.

This is a cute kitschy coffee shop on Washington and Berryman. There are picnic style tables outside to sit. The vibe is slightly hippyish, it's very mellow and the workers are cool and nice. The best part is if you order a large coffee drink, it comes with four espresso shots!. I ask for my flavored drinks half sweet which is perfect. Alternative milks cost one dollar While I haven't tried them, they sell a lot of food here.

    Matcha + Cappuccino

Rlly good vibe and coffee! Staff was so friendly and cool too will definitely go back!

Loved the horchata latte!!! Seems like all the drinks are good so far but we've only tried a few. It's a very cute small coffee shop that I feel doesn't get enough credit for adding a little Latin culture to the community of coffee lovers. The baristas were all super nice too which was very helpful on our first visit and is another big reason we'll be back.

Thank You Hayden for the matcha ! Cozy vibes & a variety of drinks to choose from will definitely come back soon !

In a not very obvious area of DTLA, next to Urth Cafe but no other restaurants. We didn't have reservations so we had the option of sitting at the bar or following the waitress to a back room area instead of the front room that is visible to everyone. My son is a minor, so to the back we went! Seriously, the closer we got to the back room the more I felt I had been cast in "The Chef." Scary! Lol! The back room is black. Blackout black! Black tablecloths, walls, chairs, dark, low light. Very luxurious and open space. Which - because it wasn't full at the time - felt a bit like being in the film, The Menu." A bit too upscale and empty to feel comfortable. More guests arrived later, a large table, so that was more comforting. The food: Recommended *Kara Kara Tamales: braised oxtail with a peanut butter sauce. Wow! The taste was wonderful! Hard to explain but Filipino/African food meets Latin food. It was on the "shared plate" menu, which to me means it will be a lot. But the 2 tamales were not very big. Still, they were so rich that the 2 really were sufficient to share. Quite filling. I couldn't get enough of the sauce! *Crab fried rice: Very tasty and generous portion. Plenty share! Not recommended: The street eats menu. Now, this is what pulled us in - the sights and smells of the food being grilled outside the restaurant. Most of which was on this meme. Like a tasting menu. But for price to portion ratio, it simply isn't worth it. I ordered the skirt steak. 4 oz, cut in half. Cooked down to what looked like .5 oz! Each on a toothpick sitting in a paper plate (or maybe it was cupcake holder?) IDK. I just know it wasn't a good presentation and the taste wasn't memorable. Regular. More grill smell than taste. Not at all worth $8. Service: Really nice. And mostly good. Though they did fail short by (1) Using only small appetizer size plates and (2) Not bringing a fresh plate to eat the crab fried rice on after the peanut butter sauce laced tamale appetizer was eaten. The server brought the fried rice, but didn't bother to give us fresh plates (nor silverware). My son was mortified when I grabbed a plate from one of the empty tables! (Teenager energy on full effect). But after initial attentive service, the variety of different servers whizzing by didn't stop to ask if we needed anything. And I sat waiting at least 8 minutes staring at the rice. I assured my young man that the servers would be fine with me getting another plate to save them from having to. And once I did, he suddenly started eating from my plate of my peanut butter free fried rice. And of course, when a server did attend to us and I let her know, she was glad I took matters into my own hands instead of not eating for 15 minutes. Thoughts: Go for dinner, and order from the full dinner menu, skip the skimpy street eats menu. With reservations you can sit in the main restaurant area that has some view to the outdoors. Without it - back to the black room you go! Know that it will be expensive. And it will be original. Not sure I'll go back. It's very "special occasion" upscale dining. But If I do it'll be with reservations. The meal was memorable and worth experiencing.

My wife and I stopped here a few weekends back for lunch and I was pleasantly surprised with just how much I enjoyed the food. The ambiance here is pretty generic, white and bright and very copy and paste of a lot of places popping up recently. The staff was super friendly while taking our orders and dropping the food off, which is always appreciated. I ended up ordering the Santo's Turkey Melt which is smoked turkey, grilled onions, Swiss cheese, and chipotle aioli served on sourdough with a side of french fries. The sandwich was really good and the same can be said for the french fries and I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of fries given, so thumbs up to that. I forgot what the food costs so I visited the website and for some reason they don't think it's important to put that online, which is pretty darn stupid if you ask me. Overall, I didn't have a bad experience at Sandcouch Cafe and I would visit again in the future thanks to it's convenient location. It's conveniently located to the LA Convention Center, Crytpo.com arena, and LA Live which makes it a must visit before or after an event! I am obsessed with their happy hour, which offers healthy items at discounted prices with generous portions! I have been here so many times throughout the years but most recently found myself here during a busy World Cup match! Regardless, the service and quality of food was not sacrificed! I was greeted as soon as I got there and the bartenders were overwhelmed but still friendly and helpful. I was so tempted to get a margarita, since theirs are amazing, but decided to keep it dry and just get their vegan nachos. I was able to score a table outside on their lovely patio, which felt secluded enough from the main street. My food was brought out quicker than I thought and I was delighted, as I was famished! The vegan nachos here are fantastic and the happy price is only $10, which is a steal for what you get! They are costed in the most magical concoction of a bean puree, cashew cheese sauce, and guacamole which all have the most creamy, luscious and savory flavors. It's so hearty and well seasoned and not only filling, but you feel great after. Parking is pretty easy, as there are usually ample meters available nearby. I cannot wait to return again soon the next time I'm in Downtown LA! I am hoping to try more of their vegan options and next time I will for sure get a drink to go along with their delicious food!

I ordered the Espresso Martini, and it tasted pretty watered down and lacked the bold coffee flavor I was hoping for. On the bright side, the food was definitely the highlight. The mussels were flavorful, the calamari was crispy and cooked well, and the fries were delicious. Those dishes really saved the experience . Overall, I'd come back for the food, but I'd probably steer clear from cocktails and order a real drink. Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared, with authentic flavors and quality ingredients that stood out from the first bite to the last. The ambiance was welcoming and the art was tasteful. What truly elevated the experience was the service. The staff were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, making us feel genuinely welcomed throughout the meal. They were quick to offer recommendations and ensured everything was perfect without being intrusive. We ordered the tostaditas de atún agua chile negro, beet salad, carne asada taco and Al pastor taco and watched the World Cup game. Distrito Catorce combines exceptional food, a great atmosphere, and top-notch service. It's the kind of place that leaves you planning your next visit before you've even finished your meal. Definitely plan on coming back to watch more World Cup games.

To be honest, I was already biased because his Smorgasburg pop-ups were consistently good. But Distrito Catorce is different , it's like art. My favorite dish was the tacos de papa with salsa macha. The crunch of the potato taco riding into the salsa macha and crema felt like home, but with some extra pop. His salsa game is on point. The scallion salsa on the ribeye taco was also gas. Lastly, I really dug the tostadita de atún. It hit perfectly on these hot summer days. Low-key, I still want to try the El Rey de Noche. Tacos de beef trompo are starting to hit LA, and dude was ahead of the curve making picanha-brisket tacos de trompo. Service is smooth too. The servers are helpful, and solid at the bar. Overall, it's a cool spot with a menu that feels unique to LA.

The servers are so helpful and always cater to first-timers for an enjoyable experience, whether for a date night or hanging with your buds. HOKKAIDO SCALLOPS (a favorite) -Buttery, savory and expertly seared -The brown butter-bacon vinaigrette's contrast with the slightly tangy mustard greens makes it so enjoyable BLISTERED SNAP PEAS - Fresh, crunchy and tossed well - An ideal veggie to add to the feast OCEAN TROUT TARTARE - Great starter for a warm day - Tangy and served on crusty garlic toast - Also great as a main for a light lunch CAST IRON CORNBREAD - A must for the table - The whipped butter and wildflower honey is light and abundant - Smear it all around like you're icing a cake and dig in! I've been many times and have never been upset by an entree or cocktail. So grab your buds for the ultimate vibey "catch-up" and go family-style when ordering.

So, when I…read morewas looking back through my photos to see which museums I hadn't visited in 2021, I realized that I had actually been to Hauser & Wirth twice. After looking around the museum and enjoying the artwork, I went to Manuela, the restaurant inside the museum, on October 3, 2021, and again on October 9, 2021. One time, I went with just one close friend, and the other time, I went with a group of seven friends. On October 3, we made a reservation in advance and had brunch there. On October 9, we all went to the museum together, but since we hadn't made a reservation, we weren't able to eat there that day. I remember the atmosphere being really nice, and I remember that everything we ordered was delicious. All of the staff were also very friendly, and I remember the prices being quite reasonable. My friend and I, of course, split the bill evenly. Since it was five years ago, I obviously don't remember the exact prices in detail, but I do remember feeling that the food was reasonably priced. The only downside was the valet parking, which I remember being around $20. Other than the parking fee, I really liked the place overall and had a very good experience there.
