Never been to Chagee Tea House before but I'd love to come back! They have delicious iced teas and matcha drinks that were much needed refreshments on a hot day. My peach oolong matcha latte (with regular sweetness and ice) was very good without being too sweet or mild. The peach, oolong, and matcha flavors all came through despite being an iced latte. I see why the line was almost out the door on a Saturday afternoon! I think they only have one register, so the line moved a bit slowly, but it was worth it. Customer service wasn't stellar but they weren't rude, and they obviously had a full house of orders to take and drinks to make. Love that they had physical menus available at the beginning of the line so you can decide what you want ahead of time to make the ordering process smoother. Love that we have a Chagee nearby; it is located inside the Century City Mall on the second floor. I LOVE their Peach Oolong Citrus TeaFresher-- which comes with regular ice and regular sugar. It does have some caffeine, so keep that in mind if you're planning to enjoy it later in the evening. Grab this drink and stroll around the mall, it is so refreshing, and you'll enjoy it on a hot summer day. Lines do tend to get busy, so I recommend placing an order on the mobile app. It may take 10-20 minutes for your order to be ready (on a busy day), but at least you can walk around the mall until your drinks are ready. My eldest daughter got her coffee from Chamberlain Coffee. I wanted to get my tea drink from Chagee Modern Tea House. Both located at Westfield Century City Mall. WOW, one of the busiest spots at the mall! Atmosphere was a bit congested with so many people sitting and standing around. It was hard for me to picture this place in its quiet and peaceful space. They have special merchandise and tea for purchase. Extremely long line all the way out the front door. Once we got closer up to the counter, it went swiftly. Since it was our first time at Chagee, I asked the young gentleman for his recommendations. He suggested Boya Jasmine Green Tea Latte was one of their most popular drinks so that's what I got. Thank you young man! My daughter wanted to try the Chagee DayDream Frozen Blended so that's what she got. I know she already got coffee, but there's always room for more. I was surprised the prices were so very reasonable. I thought their prices would be higher based on their high end tea name brand. Another WOW, I was impressed with the unique and exquisite flavor of the tea in my drink. It was quite delightful and addicting to say the least. I loved it! My daughter loved her blended drink, too. A+ for both! Here is the not so WOW part... wait time was a bit long due to the busyness. Also I asked for a bag to store both drinks. The young lady said sure. Be aware that if you are trying to be good on time for parking, coming here might take at least 30 minutes!!! There was a big line for us when we got here, but I knew I wanted to have Chagee again. I don't have Chagee often and so I was excited to get my go-to drink from here. I always get the peach oolong milk tea iced. The straws are very narrow, but it doesn't stop me from sipping away the drink super quickly!!! I always love how the tea base tastes with their flavoring. The iced tea always tastes very smooth overall. Anyways, my only complaint is I wish that this branch didn't fall behind on orders? Because parking here once you pass the free hour is not cheap unless you're willing to pay money. You can also order online through app, which I ended up doing because the line to order took so long. In China, I was a once-a-day Chagee fanatic because I really loved how fragrant their teas are along with the variety of unique teas available. They had flavors like melon tea, rice-scented tea, and various types of oolong, red, black, and green teas. I was so excited when Chagee opened up and started expanding in LA. I finally stopped by while at the Century City mall, and the inside of the shop is very similar to the ones in China. Modern with classic tea house elements, easy app ordering, and a screen showing how many orders they're working on and which orders are ready for pickup. Staff were generally friendly. Sadly, Chagee got Americanized whether due to market popularity or logistics with getting certain teas in the US, couldn't tell ya. They have 1 of each type of tea: jasmine, oolong, black, Ceylon. You can add milk or add lemon lol. The teas are great and very fragrant--I don't know what determines what kind of cup an iced tea or tea latte comes in (their standard Chagee cup or a ridiculously large plastic cup, maybe 20oz)--the regular cups with the triple straw is the best. I've been to CHAGEE Modern Tea House a few times & have always been happy with my experience. Y'all that waited in several hour lines when it opened are wild! I could never! However now that the shop has been open nearly a year, the lines are manageable. It's literally taken this long for the hype to die down a bit! CHAGEE is great and all of Los Angeles was trying to get their drinks for awhile there. There are still lines but they move fast from what I could see. Ya girl is bougie and I don't do lines so I'm all up on the online ordering. It makes coming to the Tea House super easy and fast. They have indoor and outdoor seating so whatever your heart desires, you can sit in that area. They only have two umbrellas outside though so be sure to put on your sunscreen. I've done the pure black tea and their tea lattes - enjoyed them all! With CHAGEE being right at Century City Mall, I know I'll be back to try more. The teas at the other places easily have more jasmine flavor while chagee tastes watery. Every time I come here expecting something different and it literally gets worse. The only decent thing is the frappe looking drink cause it actually has flavor. It looks like diabetes though. Overall I wouldn't recommend or reconsider coming back here at all. Visited Chagee with my partner as we were both interested in the hype of Chagee Tea. Some PROs is that the shop itself is very clean, floral vibe, and more like a tea lounge more than anything. Very modern like their store name. Since it was our first time, we signed up for the 15% off code stated. However, the cashier stated that we couldn't use it since - quote; "The code takes awhile to show up since you just signed up." Due to this, we just ordered as usual. Pretty disappointing that we were unable to use it even though it's advertised by the ordering spot. The drinks overall were average at best. The peach oolong tasted a bit watery and the peach wasn't really noticeable in the drink. The Boya Tea Latte is decent but nothing over the top. I do appreciate the unique cup designs as they're pretty unique. The cups itself is sturdy and non spillable which is great. Overall, due to the horrendous parking at Century City and a average first time experience, I find it hard to come back just for Chagee. I visited this Chagee location when they were still soft opening and before they opened their second location. This is definitely popular amongst those who are brand focused as their to go bags and cups have that "Toile de Jouy" design that people associate with Dior. They were having a deal where you if you download their app and mobile order you get a slight discount. Line was quite long, and not that many seats inside, but there were some outside and people just picked up their drinks to leave. By the time we were there in the evening, all the baked goods were sold out, but they had other goods on sale while you're waiting in line to take a look at, like candles, etc. I know this is a newer trend with a lot of Chinese franchises (you see this with Auntea Jenny, Molly Tea, etc), but the first time I saw it was at Chagee and it was those trio flute thin straws that make you sip slower and to truly enjoy the tea. I got to try their Boya Tea Latte, Peach Oolong Tea Latte, Roasted Oolong Tea Latte, and the Peach Oolong Pure Tea. Definitely get the any of the peach teas if you're a peach fan, nice strong peach flavor without tasting artificial or like lotion, followed by the subtle roasted tea flavor. Delicious. Since this place opened all you see when you come to century city is hoards of people with blue Chagee cups. Finally got to stop by! Went on a Monday around 3:30 pm and barely any wait Usually this place is super packed and line out the door. The inside is so spacious and clean! The whole room is filled with a pleasant tea aroma exactly what you'd think a tea shop should smell like. Staff is very attentive and polite even when under pressure! I got the day dream an ice blended tea frappe! Really refreshing creamy and sweet! I love how the drink is perfectly blended with no big ice crystals! Legit felt like snow! Will definitely be back! I have been to Chagee twice. Once on opening week and once more recently. The wait time was much improved lol. They work reasonably quickly if you're not in a rush. The place is clean, sleek, and modern. The Ceylon Black tea latte was delicious. Very aromatic and lightly floral. Altogether lovely. Highly recommend. The peach oolong is very fresh and refreshing too! read more

Chagee Modern Teahouse is definitely an elevated tea spot with high-quality drinks, and it's clearly popular. The tea itself is good and lives up to the hype in terms of flavor. That said, the experience fell short. The staff wasn't particularly helpful or friendly, and service was noticeably slow. Because of that, I'm not sure I'd recommend it unless you're specifically curious about the hype and don't mind waiting. read more
