We've been enjoying Go Get Yogurt (flavors, quality and service) since it opened. Now we take our grandchildren there. It's a relaxed, fun place to go. We like the flavor phone and curbside service. Your kids will probably want to go inside so they can "feel" the atmosphere and watch what others are getting. Most of them want to "Inspect" everything, especially the toppings. This yogurt doesn't have a chalky taste or a grainy texture. The only thing I'd love to see is a few choices of truly sugar free yogurt, not just what they call "no sugar added". Why would plain flavored varieties have to have any sugar? Or maybe they could have sugar free sherbet? read more

Let me start with saying that I never do yelp reviews, never felt motivated too until now. This place is a bit scrappy looking but it is by far the best yogurt spot I've been too. I have come multiple times now and the workers are always sweet and very accomadating. (I ask alot of questions) The flavors are delicious and the price for each size includes 2 toppings with no extra charge. I got 3 flavors and 2 toppings for $4.10+tax, and that was a child size. They also don't skimp you on stuff, they fill the cup up and then some. The only thing I'd fix is their menu boards, they definitely need an update but regardless, I will be coming here all summer long. read more

Peeps who give this place anything short of 5 stars confuse me. First of all, this place takes all competitors coupons (buy one get one free) grab a READER and you have a two for one coupon from anywhere. They have a child size ($3 and some change) which is VERY generously piled high and almost too much for an adult. They also offer a coupon on line at their site 2 for 1. That's 2 big, creamy yogurts for under $4! There are about 8-10 changing flavors and most are really good! Banana Cream Pie, Peanut Butter, Red Velvet, Cake Batter, etc ... all the good flavors and one custard too, chocolate or vanilla. They have tons of toppings, and yeah they put them on - but they are generous portions for .50. The staff is very friendly and they always have a smile and a kind welcoming word. I've had self-serve yogurts all over (huge cups they trick you into filling) and by the oz, they are outrageous. I love this place and when we try the others we are always happy to come back to Go Get Yogurt! read more

Worst "yogurt" I've ever had!!! It didn't even taste like yogurt in the first place tasted watered down and gross. Paid $5 for a junior sized yogurt with a topping didn't get the amount off it said I would on the coupon, and the man gave me the saddest amount of yogurt for that price I've ever seen. No wonder there was no one in there. I got chocolate and vanilla and my friend got Strawberry with oreo and the yogurt did not even taste like the flavor it was supposed to be, it tasted like cheap mix watered down to make it last longer. And the skimpy amount of toppings he gave were totally stale. I won't even go into the decor in there and the tense atmosphere with a woman in the back glaring out every few minutes and bored employees trying to look busy make it an awkward place to stay and eat. Safe to say that I will NOT be going back there. There are much better options who give you the quality and quantity you pay for. (try yogurt mill and yogurt barn!!) I have been coming to Go Get yogurt for many years and have always loved it and still do. The new owners are wonderful and have made the place look beautiful. They are very nice people and very giving. This whole drama with the "Run for the Arts" fundraiser is rediculous and has been one big misunderstanding. One has to know how the business of a fundraiser works before assuming things. The owners are great people who are happy to help and give what they can. We are the previous owners of Go Get Yogurt. There was apparently a misunderstanding regarding the "Run for the Arts" fundraiser. Last year all organizations were required to have a flier for their fundraisers. Many of the annual school fundraisers had already been planned when we sold the shop, and the new owners, Hojin and Hyosoon, were very gracious in agreeing to continue to support the fundraisers that we've done in the past. Perhaps the misunderstanding came about during the transition between owners, and we're sorry if that is the case. Go Get Yogurt has always been a major contributor to the Santee community, and the new owners have already shown that they want to continue to be actively involved in the community. This used to be the place I'd go if I wanted to pig-out on great yogurt with incredible toppings. They used to layer each cup, alternating a topping, yogurt, topping, yogurt and topping. I'd get the equivalent of a couple Reeses Peanut Butter Cup in just a small cup of Peanut Butter Yogurt (my favorite.) Last time, I got a few crumbled pieces on top. Has this place changed ownership in the last few months? Or maybe it's the economy. read more

Love this place!!! They always have a tart selection (my fave). They really dish out the topping and the service is oh so friendly!! They have a couch if you want to snuggle in and be comfy. Go to yogurt mill or yogurt barn or if you're in santee try penguin yogurt. The yogurt is less than satisfactory tastes all watered down and the measly amount of topping is not worth the freaking $1.50 you pay for it. It's a tense atmosphere in there also, ever since it went under new ownership its gone downhill fast from the quality of the yogurt to the appearance that place gave me a headache waaayyy too many colors and crap all over the place. I love this little yogurt shop. Cookies and Cream is the best. They have a great selection of toppings. The kids that work there are very nice and give good service. My only complaint is that they do not update the flavor line on a regular basis. I will call on a Thursday and they will have the flavors listed for Friday - Monday. Sometimes it is once every 4-5 days so I need to call their curbside line to get the most current flavors. read more

This is by far the best yogurt in the area! Don't take my word for it-- try it and compare it to Golden Spoon or any other competitor. GGY is "fresher". 'Not sure what the difference is, but its way better. Nice kids running the place and owner is very community friendly. read more

My favorite yogurt place. Staff is always great. The owner is extremely kind and funny! Their Cake Batter is amazing! The sizes and amounts are huge in comparison to their competition. You certainly get plenty for a good price and it's always great! Only downside (or upside depending on who you are), there is not much changing of flavors. read more

Go Get Yogurt has come under new management in the past few years. I remember when it first entered, Santana High students worked behind the counter and always gave service with a smile. These days, a man and his son (I'm guessing) own the place. They have completely redecorated and the service is cold. The yogurt still tastes OK like it used to, it was never amazing or anything. I don't know who owned it before, but you used to be able to spend one dollar to trace a circle on the walls and customize it. They would paint over it every couple of months, but it felt like you were a part of the Go Get Yogurt family and you could draw on the walls. Where Go Get Yogurt used to be a mecca for kids, teens, and adults alike, it has gone down hill. Disappointing to say the least. read more

I checked their website to see how late they were open on a Friday night. It said 10:30. I wasted my gas and time to drive their only to see the employees locking up and walking out at 10:15. It also said 10:30 on the sign on the door. Pretty frustrating! I do like their yogurt, but that's the kind of thing that will make me consider another place the next time I want yogurt. read more

I have to say I am disappointed in the new owner of this "Go get Yogurt" For the past 5 years the previous owner did a fund raiser for the Lakeside School "Run for the Arts" program and this year the new owner has decided to change his mind on the DAY of the fundraiser and kicked us and our customers out! Nevermind we contacted him PRIOR to the fundraiser day and he said everything was set and ready to go. The deal in the past was that any money made between certain hours would go towards the school fundraiser and no flyer was needed. Well, after he had MAJOR sales yesterday, he decided that only persons who brought in a flyer would be honored for the fundraiser. There were never any flyers made because in the past 5 years there was never a need to flyers, only the time frame. So.....he made the profit off of all the family and staff members who came out for the school and the school made NOTHING! To top it off, he has photos of himself all over the shop of him in his Navy uniform. Well, this is coming from a Navy Chief, and I am ashamed to have had to serve with a person who can not give back to his own community. read more

First lets get it strait Go Get Yogart in the Albertsons shopping center across from Santana High School is no Yogart Barn in Lakeside. So here's the deal, my wifes family is three gernerations deep in Santee, with our kids, four genterations deep. We have been going to Go Get yogart for years, in fact since it opened. Well I guess it was sold in January and the new owner has decided that he may have bought the business but does not need to accept any of the previous owners coupons. I had a coupon from the Entertainment Book for buy 1 get 1 free up to $5. off. So I bouught 2 smalls for a total of $8 and 2 mix ins for $3 for. Total $11. So the coupon shoud of given me $5 off. Not the case, the new owner was unwilling to give me the $5 off, instead he decided that he would only give me $3, stating that the coupon was part of the old ownership. Now here's the deal, I can see if he had bought the business and renamed it this would be ethical, but you would think if you bought a business and kept the name, you would accept all the outstanding non expired coupons that customers brought in from the marketing of the old owners. But no the new owner insisted on fighting with me over $2, in front of a store full of customers. Some of which left before they ordered, hopefully never to return. My family and I, including extented family will never set foot in this establishement ever again, and all over $2. If given the choice I would sugest going to another yougart place. read more

If I could give them 0 stars, I would. I took my kids here after school and they had a buy one, get one tiny size free. There was a teenage girl and what I'm assuming to be the owner working. The place was very busy, yet the owner sat on his laptop ignoring the customers. He finally got up and took our order after 10 minutes, the other girl was helping the people in front of us. The flavor they had shown for the one sorbet they offered was wrong, and he got our order completely wrong. The wrong toppings went on the wrong yogurts, yet he refused to fix them. And since when do 2 Child size yogurts cost $10.25? Some "deal"!!! My daughter was in tears since hers was made incorrectly and the owner still wouldn't re-make them. I'm thinking ownership must have changed since the last time we were there. I WILL NOT BE BACK, AND I ENCOURAGE ANYONE WHO READS THIS TO GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. I AM STILL FLABBERGASTED AT THE COMPLETE LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE. UNBELIEVABLE. read more
