They sent back list of multiple options, framed, frameless, top hung with rollers with prices of each. I was surprised that frameless was just a little more than with a frame! I mean who wouldn't do that. To my surprise the most expensive option was the top hung with rollers, it looked more high tech but also reminded me of a frame so I went with the frameless as I had planned. They came out to measure and within a few weeks installed it. It looks so much better! I wish I had done it years ago. They were quick efficient, friendly and affordable. If you're even thinking of replacing an old track, frame type shower door, I wouldn't hesitate to replace it, I absolutely love my frameless shower door. These guys were true professionals.

The receptionist was friendly and thorough and said she have to have someone else verify if the glass I had could be cut. Moments later a tall, bald, most importantly rude gentleman asked what my cardboard cut out was. I replied that it was a template that I was told to bring in. As we were walking out of the lobby I said the measurements were also written down. He said the template edges weren't clean enough and he couldn't cut based on it. Both my wife and I sensed the A-hole on display. It was tone, body language and word choice. So I said never mind as I don't want to waste anyone's time. Mind you, he never saw the glass and all I wanted to know was whether it could be cut down. Bottom line, I didn't get any question answered. Me being in my late 50's means I refuse to give $ to any business that treats customers like crap. The only good to come of my time at C&C was a free notepad and pen.

Fisher and a 2nd company were about the same price and a third was almost twice. Based on their positive reviews, their promptness in getting back, and their quote, we went with Fisher. The entire process was flawless - as good as one could imagine. They came to make the measurement, determined the tint of the other windows to insure a match, and installed a replacement within ten days of taking the measurements. Rick and his co-worker were a pleasure to deal with, as was the office, that kept us aprised of the schedule. This was one of the best experiences I've ever had for a home repair/service company. They gave me a bid and committed to the job before seeing it- they actually refused to come out before hand. After the deposit was paid they came out, measured and said to expect an installation in about 3 days. Their communication is abysmal. After 5 days of not hearing from them I called and emailed. Crickets. They finally responded when I asked if they'd stolen our money. They replied that it was a difficult job and they were trying to get a mirror company to do the work. As it turns out they only install product, which they never mentioned. No one would cut the glass for them so they couldn't do the job they committed to. I tried to make another option work but that wasn't happening. They made 2 trips to the house for a job they couldn't perform and tried to take $350 in trip charges out of the deposit, which was never discussed. That's obviously egregious especially because it wasn't like we just changed our minds. They couldn't perform the work they agreed to perform and tried to charge us for their incompetence. It's a husband and wife team. She was rude and got aggressive when I told her no one was paying them $350 for their mistake. She said she had to talk to her husband because she was unfamiliar with the job but I had spoken with her in detail about it 3 days previously.... It was pretty nuts. I highly don't recommend them.
