Update to my previous reviews. Jose did finally reach out to me and apologized for not communicating with me months ago when I was calling and messaging about the hinges. We already made arrangements to have another company replace the door so Jose did offer to do the installation for free, which I appreciate. My impression is that he really does a good job most of the time and unfortunately I fell through the cracks. I wish him well and hope he will take to heart the importance of timely communication with his customers. read more

JC Glass (Jose) didn't get paid by his client GL Instant Homes subsequent to failing to sign a contract with them. I had to call the contractor GL instant homes to settle the bad business between him and Jose but (Gilbert) from GL instant homes refused to answer my calls as well. Later that week Jose pulled legalities since he was eligible for going straight to me for payment as a subcontractor. He and his wife text messaged me, threatening to place a lien on my property, showing me a Google search to confirm their leverage over the situation... Needless to say, although JC Glass had done a decent job on my shower glass, the Contractor GL Instant Homes & Subcontractor JC Glass are extremely unprofessional and will give you, the customer, an unpleasant experience. TL:DR (Too long: Didn't Read) As a customer I had to mitigate the relationship between both of the contractors. I had to stop payment to the main contractor revise the contract and make payment to subcontractor. read more

I've been waiting hours for Jose to come today with a small piece to complete the shower door he installed.... weeks ago. Door did not have small plastic strip on the bottom so water went all over floor. Very difficult to get in touch with him.... he finally came on Saturday and had the wrong piece. This is not the only day I've waited for him.... very frustrating.... I have things to do too. One star because Jose is nice, although very good at making excuses.... would never use him again. read more

Have used Jose in the past for window repairs/replacements and was planning on using JC Glass re a major remodel with additions. To secure the loan I needed an appraisal and that requires everything safe for the lender to approve the loan. Broken bathroom window is of course unsafe. Long story even longer, I contacted Jose several times and he said he would call back and/or come by... They installed two frameless shower enclosures, two beveled bathroom mirrors and installed mirrors on one full wall of our family room. Our master bathroom was recently completely remodeled. We hired Jose and Claudia (JC Glass) to install a complete shower glass enclosure with a door. The name of the glass we ended up using is called "Rain" which is obscure not clear. Absolutely beautiful the texture adds a nice touch to the other materials that were purchased for the remodel.
