I first met Erica in 2015 when I started working with her as a bather. I already had a little…read moreexperience in the pet care industry, but I had no idea that meeting her would completely change the course of my life and career. From day one, Erica welcomed me with open arms. She believed in me, encouraged me, and was always willing to share her knowledge. Through her academy, I completed a 500-hour grooming course that became the foundation of everything I know today. Erica taught me far more than just grooming techniques. She taught me about dog breeds, coat types, breed-specific haircuts, proper hygiene procedures, skin and coat care, hydration treatments, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and even how to safely perform anal gland expression. Every lesson was taught with incredible patience, attention to detail, and genuine care. What truly sets Erica apart is the way she teaches people to understand animals. She taught me how to read a dog's body language, recognize their fears and anxieties, help them feel safe, and handle them with kindness, respect, and compassion. She always emphasized that grooming is not just about appearance--it's about building trust and creating a positive experience for each pet. Today, I am a professional groomer and proud owner of my own business, and I can honestly say that none of this would have been possible without Erica's guidance, mentorship, and constant encouragement. She helped me discover my passion and my purpose in life. Working with animals is something I truly love, and I am forever grateful that she played such an important role in that journey. In all my years working in this industry, I have never met anyone who cares for animals the way Erika does. Her dedication, knowledge, patience, and love for every pet she works with are truly exceptional. She is not only an amazing professional but also an incredible mentor and human being. Thank you, Erica , for believing in me, teaching me, and inspiring me to become the groomer and business owner I am today. I will always be grateful for everything you have done for me and for so many animals. Highly recommended!

I don't even know where to start, but what I'll say first off is that we had a horrible experience…read morehere. We moved into town and were looking for a groomer. We stumbled upon this place and brought our dog here. When my husband was dropping him off, he was explaining to them what kind of Cut he wanted them to do. He said just a simple trim nothing too short. The woman looked at him and flat out, said "I have no clue what you want", And she called for somebody else to come over and yelled "This guy is asking for something and I don't know what he wants." - In a very rude tone. Mind you, we are brand new customers, this is our first time there. Our dog is a golden retriever and so he's the happiest dog you'll ever meet. Because it was our first time I called an hour later to check up and see what his status was and how he's doing. The woman that worked there (didn't get her name but she was a very tough and rude woman) was very mean as if I was bothering her when I called. I simply was asking for an update to see when my dog would be done, but she was not very polite. After picking him up, we noticed that he was not Himself. He was pulling us to leave. When we brought him home, he was very quiet and not his happy self. A month later we had another appointment booked and as we were walking close to the door We noticed our dog, pulling us the opposite way- He was basically telling us that he did not want to go inside. That was a huge red flag for me. I knew something happened during his first grooming Session And I'm glad we trusted our instinct the second time and didn't go through that door. Unfortunately This is not the first time I've heard of an experience like this from This place. 2 other friends who have dogs stopped going there too because of similar stories. I don't know what happens behind closed doors at Studio Groomers, But all I know is that if they treat humans like myself so mean and rude, then I can't imagine how they treat dogs. I am really concerned about this place and their staff. Please, if you're reading this be cautious before going here if you care about your pet.

My family is absolutely DEVASTATED by how terrible this haircut came out. This is the second time…read morewe brought him to Petsmart for a cut and can't believe they had the audacity to do such a thing. First of all, he's a golden doodle but I'm sure you can't tell because of how RIDICULOUS he looks. Second of all, they cut 3 out of 4 legs down, who TF even does that? He was left with patches all over his body. Only 1/2 of his face was shaved, and one eyelash was cut. He came home in the most sad/depressed mood ever! He's the happiest and friendly dog ever and to see the shame, embarrassment and sadness in his eye was just heartbreaking. This is wildly unacceptable, if the groomer doesn't have the skill level to cut the dogs hair this is something that the manager needs to handle professionally and 1. Assign someone who has the proper experience 2. Reschedule the appointment for when someone is available to actually do a great job 3. STOP the haircut once you know that it's not going to be what the client is asking for and expecting. Third of all, the store manager called us stating the grooming appointment could not be completed, mind you this call was made after Milo had already been there for 3 hours. Make it make sense! Then the groomer STEVEN let's us know the haircut was "completed" but when we arrived to pick Milo up, he told us that he couldn't finish the cut and didn't give an explanation as to why. I can't help but think about what Milo endured during this disgusting experience. To make matters worse, I know it's hard to think about this getting worse but Steven told us to "have a good day"! HOW Steven, how could we possibly have a good day when you made our dog look like he has no home and he's been struggling on the streets. Fourth of all, I WARN you, do not fall victim to this horrible experience with your pet.
