There's a reason it says "No Refunds!" Right over the price list. This place is old, and needs a serious upgrade inside the arcade and outside on the tracks. Every single car I got in first broke down on the track and they had to switch my 3yr old and I out of the cars during the races in the middle of the track. We just had my 10 year old son's birthday party here, and it was wonderful. The party was easy to arrange and the customer service was great. Very disappointing. Read the website which stated that they sanitize after and between each rider. That never happened. There was no social distancing. No sanitizer anywhere. The employees while nice didn't keep their distance and had masks slipping down while hovering over us. Carts didn't go fast and didn't appear to be working very well. So growing up, constantly driving past that "magical go kart spot with the fireworks lights" I always begged my parents to take me... They never did. Finally go today- it did not live up to the hype as a kid. Not because it's in poor condition (which lets be honest here, it is in pretty terrible shape-both carts I drove the breaks did not work, it took rear ending another cart to stop) or bad tracks (debree in the track - plastic! - and paint wearing off) , but simply if you are taller than 5'6, and broad shouldered, you simply can not fit in one of their carta comfortably to enjoy it. Had a lot of fun it was my first time visiting the park and I'm underage so I don't drive which made me excited to see what it was like although it was fun I was bummed the arcade was not working the tracks are fun although cars can use a little upgrade a lot of them would stop or for example my seatbelt was super loose in all the cars I went in at that evening which later ended up hurting me as my cart got stuck and I crashed sending me almost out of the car and then my back slamming hard again towards the cart I went Tuesday which was 2 days ago and it literally hurts to sit and get up so try upgrading that but overall it was fun and I'd like to visit again once my back heals lol read more

I LOVE THIS PLACE. Disclaimer: the place was dead. My boyfriend and I went during the week three hours before closing. We purchase the two hour groupon BUT we only stayed for a little over an hour. Why? Because we didn't have to make line to ride again. Since the place was really empty the guy would just ask us if we wanted to go again and again and again. We stop afte the 3rd time and got off because our hands were cold. Piece of advice wear gloves if going at night. It was nice not making line and having the track all to ourselves. The groupon guarantees at least 10 rides hmm we got more than that. Guys this would be a fun place to take your girl... hint, hint. Now I know how celebrities feel when they rent a place out all to themselves. The race track does need an upgrade but honestly if you look past that you could have some AWESOME FUN. Couldnt decide what to do for the long weekend and saw this place, decided to make the hour long drive from ventura county, and it was absolutely amazing!! Great prices for tickets, $200 and we got 3 hours worth of racing time with a family of 5 (including a toddler) and all the staff on the tracks are very kind and very diligent about making sure you're comfortable and safe! Even when we did have a mishap with one of the kiddos taking the turn a bit too hard, they were to his aid immediately!! Just went here yesterday with my girlfriend as a belated Christmas present. Yeah I suck. If you ever want an isolated go karting experience, go here on a Friday afternoon. I told her that I rented out the place for just us two (since there was barely anyone there) and when she saw a couple of younger kids, I told her that I hired them for a more "authentic" experience. She actually believed me... The kart experience, while fun, is a little archaic. They steering controls are so rigid that it's a damn shoulder/arm workout just to try to drive straight for more than two seconds. But the tracks are pretty fun. My favorite moment of the day was the last race. I knew our wristbands were about to expire, so I told her to be careful because I'm out for the gold medal and I would do whatever it took to attain it. Two other very small children joined us. As we suited up, the father says to me, "Go easy on my kids would ya?" I laughed and said I'd try. Then I climbed into the pink go kart, which caused both of his kids to laugh at me. I stared them down and in my head I was thinking, "You just made the biggest fucking mistake in your life." I played it cool until the last lap. I slowed down a little bit so everyone else could catch up to me. On the Turbo track, right before the finish line, there's a great turn. The two little kids were in front of me, at perfect position, and like a vulture swooping down from the hot desert sky, I slammed on the accelerator and in a flash, I strategically fishtailed one of the kids, who spiraled out of control and ran into his brother. I breezed by and snagged the gold medal easily. Victory never felt so good. Neither did getting kicked out. On Fridays, if you buy a one hour wristband, they have a coupon that gives you an upgrade to a two hour wristband. Do it and go grab your gold medal from little kids who laugh at you. read more

We had my son's birthday party here and he and all his friends and their parents had a great time! Cynde arranged for our big party to be in a comfortable and convenient location, the picnic tables were roomy and shaded throughout the day. The kids loved the go karts and bumper cars. The staff were helpful and they made sure to have our party area clean and sanitized before we arrived. The bathrooms were clean and staff were helpful with any questions we had. Go Kart World is an OG racetrack; the karts feature pure rubber tires for bumpy uneven rides, you get grimy and smell like fuel. After an hour of racing and illegally bumping each other, my date was like a 12 year-old hyperactive spazoid. It's refreshing to see a devoted work-a-holic let her hair down and laugh uncontrollably. This is fun for all ages with 6 different tracks to select from. There is also an arcade, prices are reasonable and the more tokens you buy the cheaper it is per ride. This place can get crowded during peak hours. I recommend bringing the family during the early hours. This place would be fun if the karts wouldn't shut down constantly. I mean like seriously the races are timed and we had to slow down every lap because the karts are always shutting down! The staff is okay at best! They should probably loose the attitude when speaking to a customer! Like come on dude i paid to race on some OUT DATED go-karts! I wish I could give NO STARS. If you value your physical well being, do not patronize this so called establishment. My husband was injured there by a young kid crashing into him. So, my husband was on the super track when his go kart broke down from a broken chain. He was told to stay in the car while the other cars were still going around. When it was time for the race to stop, a child driver crashed into him from being behind at full speed and caused my husband to get whiplash. Their negligence was the cause, as my husband asked to get out of the car to be in a safe area and the employee told him he had to stay in the car. Then... CRASH! The manager, oh, the manager, was so rude and acted like it was such a burden to have deal with this incident. My husband demanded that an incident report be made and when the manager refused to give my husband a copy, that is when everything hit the fan. The manager told me to follow the mother of the kid driver and take a picture of her license plate. Wait, shouldn't you be handling this, not me? You're the manager. Again, he was not trying to placate the situation. He didn't even try to show a bit of care for the fact that my husband was injured. Hello, as a human being, you ask if the victim is ok and then try to resolve everything. He gave us such a hard time when all we were doing was trying to have fun and spend money there. This could've been a great place to visit often, as we live very close, but now we are forced to go to somewhere else that is further away. We should've been taken care of in a better manner, but that did NOT happen. Word of advice to the owner, hire a better manager. Possibly one that knows how to respect the customers! Had to take my daughter out to the car to change her. The Arcade games didnt dispense tickets as they should. We reported it, they tried to trouble shoot-unsuccessful so they manually gave us tickets, them placed blue tape over the coin insert-putting the game out of service. A few other games we came across had nails/screws in the coin insert -out of service and more blue tape. They just need to revamp and liven up the arcade. Wasnt impressed. My first Go Cart Experience! This place was actually pretty fun. I loved the Slick Track and the Turbo Track. Their best track, Super Track, was actually reserved for a party so my GF and I never had a chance to try it. We certainly didn't want to wait over an hour just for the possibility of trying it. I came with my family last Wednesday to celebrate my daughter's birthday and there was barely anyone there. We had a good time. They have a lot of race tracks.Some of the karts are very small so people of a certain size will struggle getting in. The go-karts can use an update. I have never been on a tracks like the ones they have so it was cool. However, I do not think it is worth $30 a person. Family of 4 came to $120 with the mobile coupon. If you get headaches easily I suggest you not get on anything because the karts vibrate like crazy while idling. On the bumper cars I could of swore I felt my brain move. They need to fix that. You have to sign a waiver just to get inside and that is for everybody, any age. read more

What a freakin' good time! This place looks ghetto compared to Speed Zone but is soo much fun that it really doesn't matter. I won't waste another dime at that other place. My first impression from the outside was that the tracks would be lame because it looks pretty small from the outside. It must be a mirage because the tracks that they expertly pack in there put you in another world where you only see the track and forget that there is anything else around. The best part is that the tracks are, as Michael B. said in the review below, three-dimensional . This really adds some depth and excitement to the experience. I almost T-Boned my friend after he spun out on a really steep turn and I couldn't stop in time. I expertly swerved around and laughed at him as I passed. They have 3 tracks that are fun for adults and some kiddie tracks. The Super Track and Turbo Track are the best for the racing experience. The Slick Track is just fun. A lot of swerving, spin outs and close calls. I went with a group of friends and they all thoroughly enjoyed it all. We got the $30 90 minute unlimited wrist band. The best part about it is that they gaurantee you atleast 6 races even if you go past 90 minutes . Since the races cost $5 each, you can't lose. The downside is that even though it was not too busy when I went, we barely got in 6 races in 90 minutes. Go Kart World is great for groups, and fun for any age. A great alternative to the 40 mph go karts. 40 mph is serious, steely eyed racing, Go Kart World is act like a kid again, don't care if I win, just have fun racing. read more

Have you ever been go kart racing? Maybe you think you have, but you really haven't until you've been to Go Kart World. Why? Simple. They have six different tracks. There are several amazing things about Go Kart World. The first is that in this world of lawsuits and political correctness, that it exists at all. Karting is one of those things that just burn in the adolescent heart and soul like horseback riding, and you know what kind of lame horses you get these days. Well the good news is that a GCW you don't just get go karts, you get them with exclamation points. There are basically two kiddie tracks and four serious tracks. I tried the two best and watched my boy's friends do all the rest. When I say serious I mean that there are people that you can tell who come here a lot and really have the fever to win. It's damned competitive out there. Not only that, but the tracks are in 3D. Most go kart places, including Malibu Grand Prix, only have tracks that go left and right. These tracks do that (and have banked turns) but they have hills, bridges and underpasses too. You might find yourself putting along and not have enough momentum to get up the hill on the Turbo Track. What? Did you think it was going to be easy? The cars are fast enough for you to feel like you're going fast, but they are not the big Malibu GP style. They all have the radio control so that if the track hands can enforce a virtual yellow flag when there's trouble on the track. These guys have the patience of Job, by the way. With some of the weenies and wackos they have to deal with, I'd go nuts. But they go out of their way to make sure that everyone has a good time. The races are plenty long. The hotdogs are plenty good and the food service is very slow. The video arcade is aging and decrepit, like most of the ones you grew up loving. The prices are very reasonable but parking is a little tight. This place is jumping every day and night, with plenty of local young teens and kids queuing up to race. The lines are long but we never waited for more than three races to get our turn. Adults over six feet will have a bit of trouble getting into the karts. And there are kiddie karts too. read more

There's a surprisingly large number of race tracks and there's race tracks for all ages (younger children to 20's). The race tracks are interesting and there are different styles (a slippery track, bumper cars, etc.) I suggest going on a Friday or Saturday because there are more people and racing with more people is so much more fun. Went to Go Kart World with people of different ages and let me say we ALL had fun. They have 3 rides the wee ones can drive on their own which was a HUGE hit. They also have 2 seater for the faster karts so the wee ones can ride with, which was also a HUGE hit. We bought wristbands and came prepared to drive. They didn't have the snack shop open or I don't even know if they have one and due to the arcade being between the tracks the doors remain open so there is no AC, but since we went towards the even we had a cool breeze on a humid summer day. read more

So here's why I'm writing this review. It's not because we didn't have fun riding the go karts, because we did. The lady who sold the tickets to us was really helpful. What changed the vibe of the entire experience was when we were playing those silly grab games and during the course of spending many bucks on it, don't judge it's what we're there for right, on four separate occasions the magnetic hand that is supposed to go thru the keyhole took on a life of it's own and released on it's own. We didn't take our hands off the MOVE button but that didn't matter, the 'hand' moved for us. When we went to the front desk to let them know, the REALLY nasty employee responded with, "SO WHAT, DO YOU WANT YOUR ENTIRE $20 REFUNDED?" Whaaaaat? The tone she had was so ridiculous. It was startling, because we wanted to let them know. Then she questioned our honesty and rolled her eyes. Unfortunately I didn't catch the person's name. She is the tall employee, wearing her hair slicked down to her scalp and combed to the side on Sunday. Wow, the nastiness has really left a bad taste in our mouths because we would've been more than happy to return often. Dope spot! Was randomly driving down the 405 and decided we wanted to go go-karting, then a few exits up we saw Go Kart World so we went! Overall, this is a good place if you just want to get out and have some fun. If your an intense go kart driver and care about lap speeds and winning, don't come here. $30 for an hour of go karting, with a guarantee of 8 rides. If your adults- this is sufficient enough because theres not that many tracks, nor long of waits, and your adrenaline will get pumping with the need for speed!! Staff is friendly and funny. We were going around the track and our car died- but they let us ride again without marking it down on our wristband... yay for a 'free' ride. The first time I came here and it will be the last. This worker was so rude to my group. On one of the tracks, my friend crashed into me and I lost control and crashed into the wall. The worker goes up to my friend and tells her that she won't be able to drive on that track anymore. We avoided the track up until the last minute but decided to do it because we liked it. The same worker was there and when I try to drive in a two seater with my friend he says that he had told Me that I couldn't drive anymore even though it wasn't true. The seatbelt was broken and then the attendant helping me didn't seem to really mind it. This was my family's first time at this establishment. We did not expect much because, from the 405, it appears small. We were surprised by the number of race tracks inside. Although we were told, upon entering, that we needed to stay 6ft away from other persons/families/groups, it appeared that we were the only family attempting to socially distance ourselves, especially in the lines. There's not really much choice for go-karting near los angeles. That being said, this place is pretty good. The super track and slick track are both good tracks. The normal carts aren't all that powerful, but they get the job done. The place is a bit dirty, and smells mostly of exhaust and gasoline, but that's part of the whole experience, really. If you have time, I STRONGLY recommend riding the EuroKarts and Champ Karts. They're way more powerful than the normal carts and actually require some technique to prevent crashing or spinning out. On the normal carts, you're basically just flooring it the whole time. They cost twice as much, but you get double the race time, so really it's the same price. read more

So here I go Pros: - Different tracks for different ages and speed. - Fast go karts - Lot's of places to take pictures and see the races. Cons: - Took forever to even get through the permission line where you have to sign a permission pass before entering the facility. Last night I decided to take my gf to race some karts and since I always pass by on the freeway I decided to take her there for her first time. I understand on how some people might feel when it's 30 min prior to closing and the whole "check out" mentality but business is business. It's been a very long time since I had gone to that establishment so I did not understand the whole process on what rides are the best, what tickets to purchase, ect. My complaint about the experience I had in go kart world is basically the attitude of the ride staff. I don't believe they know what the words customer service are. I felt like I was being rushed, I also felt like they were doing me a favor by providing a service. There was no greeting, and no type of customer service interaction that would make me feel like my business was appreciated. Overall I wouldn't change the rating that I have placed and I would not be conducting any more of my business in that establishment. I would not recommend the place and if someone were to ask for my opinion, I would not give a positive one. I don't know how this affects the location or if anyone reads these but it's nice to voice and opinion. read more

I got hurt really bad in the turbo track yesterday. I woke up with bruises and my daughter did too. Literally seat belt bruises. yes they gave me my tickets back .(only for that ride) they gave me some water some ice packs that was very nice but it still hurts. it was probably unnecessary if it was kept up with maintenance a little better I don't know I will never go back I wish I could get my full refund at least. the wheel is so hard to turn and no one gives you instructions before. I got the groupon deal so I came here on Saturday morning. I thought there suppose to be 12 tracks based on the website but when we get there, there is only 5 i saw. The most fun one (Super track ) is closed due to kids birthday event. I only stayed there for 1 hour and left. Totally don't think this worth the money. The cars look old and broke and the places looks outdated. Not coming back here for sure. I would suggest parents bring kids to cleaner and better place if you want your kids to have fun. read more
