Extremely disappointing and honestly concerning experience…read more I was sent here through a Volkswagen dealership while my car was being serviced, and the entire process was handled poorly from start to finish. First, I asked reasonable clarifying questions about using an Apple Card for the rental hold process since the physical card intentionally has no printed numbers on it. Instead of calmly explaining the policy, the manager - Carlos - became hostile, raised his voice, accused me of "trying to force" him to do something, refused to provide any escalation contact, and ultimately hung up on me. When I returned later to pick up the rental, I specifically requested that the authorization be run as credit rather than debit so my available funds wouldn't immediately be pulled during an already stressful move. Despite that request, approximately $300 was immediately removed from my available balance. Then the rental vehicle itself had a defective driver's seatbelt. I reported it immediately. Staff acknowledged the issue, took it to a mechanic, and then told me there was nothing they could do and no other vehicles were available. So I was ultimately handed a vehicle with a known defect involving the driver's primary safety restraint system and told to take it anyway because there were no other options. The combination of hostile customer service, poor communication, payment handling issues, and being given a vehicle with an acknowledged safety defect made this an incredibly uncomfortable experience overall.

I'll absolutely come back to this location. I was dealing with a frustrating situation involving a car repair, third-party warranty company, insurance, and a pretty big gap between what my warranty would cover and what a rental actually cost. Dean went WAY beyond what he had to do. He walked me through my options, helped me understand everything, and even gave me pointers for talking to my insurance company and potentially getting them involved with SilverRock to help with the extra costs. The entire time, I genuinely felt like Dean was in my corner. He was proactive, responsive, patient with every question, and somehow made one of the more stressful parts of dealing with a car repair feel easy. Beyond being great at his job, he's just a genuinely nice, respectful, down-to-earth person who clearly takes pride in doing things well and taking care of people. I also interacted with Luke and Miguel, who were equally kind and helpful. The whole team came across as honest, hardworking people who actually care about their customers. Enterprise, if anyone higher up is reading this: Promote Dean as soon as possible. Seriously. He has the energy of someone who should be running his own branch, if not a fleet of them. That combination of initiative, work ethic, integrity, and genuine care for people is rare these days.

Enterprise said back in the day, "We'll pick you up."…read more Well, that was then, this is now. New rules. Fortunately, I wasn't too far out of this branch's jurisdiction, like in the neighborhood, to be picked up to pick up the seven-day rental arranged by my insurance company. Years prior I uttered every blasphemous word I knew to NEVER again rent from Enterprise. Filthy inside and out vehicles - like driving within a foggy windshield while inhaling (even with windows open) a carcinogenic ashtray. Gas tank on fumes. Representative said, "Be sure to bring it back that way." No worries, I'll syphon what I paid for, didn't use. Lord knows what I'll do with it but you're not getting it. Better yet an extra long drive to return your beater on fumes. Body shop worthy dents, scratches, damages. Representative kept checking their watch as I photographed/documented what I refused to be held responsible for. Then the ubiquitous upsell for additional insurance coverage. Not gonna happen. What an exhausting, insulting experience! NOT here. NOT this time. Thank you Assistant Branch Rental Manager Rent-A-Car Division, Eduardo Ortega, aka Eddie for a night and day seamless Enterprise experience. Clean, make that pristine, fully gassed up car. Eddie documented vehicle exterior, said I could too but as he circled the car, my photos would have been redundant. Went through the additional insurance upsell but waived it on the recommendation of my insurance carrier. Thorough instruction on vehicle operation. Gas grade to return tank to full capacity. Drove the vehicle for three days, gassed up, returned, vehicle inspected, paid minimal designer latte fee, and was given a lift home. Eddie emailed transaction documents. If ever in need of a rental again, I wouldn't hesitate to utilize the new and improved Enterprise!

I had a really disappointing experience with this location and the lack of resolution has been…read moreextremely frustrating. I was charged $246.94 for a "rekey fee" that was never clearly communicated to me at any point during my rental. I've been trying to resolve this for weeks, working with multiple employees, including Vanessa, but have gotten nowhere. Here's what happened: I had a flat tire after hours and contacted Enterprise roadside assistance. I was told to leave the vehicle and take an Uber to a different location for a replacement. Due to a language barrier with the driver, I ended up at the wrong location and had to walk--carrying my belongings and my son's car seat--to the correct branch. Later, I was contacted about the key from the original vehicle. I told them I still had it, since no one had given me any instructions on what to do with it when I left the car. I was then asked to return it, which I did as soon as I reasonably could given my schedule. At no point did anyone mention that I would be charged a rekey fee. The first time I even knew about it was when I saw the charge hit my account. When I asked for proof that this fee had been disclosed, no one could provide any documentation or record. What made this even worse was how it was handled. Vanessa insisted that I had been informed about the charge--which is simply not true--and instead of working toward a resolution, it felt like I was being dismissed and essentially told I was wrong. That's incredibly frustrating as a customer, especially when I made every effort to follow instructions and return the key promptly. I understand policies exist, but if you're going to charge someone nearly $250, that needs to be clearly communicated upfront. The lack of transparency and accountability here is unacceptable. Between the inconvenience, poor communication, and the way this was handled, this has been a terrible experience. I expected much better from a company like Enterprise. I would strongly recommend being cautious and getting everything in writing if you rent from here.

At the end of the rental, I was amazed to see the full amount being charged to my credit card, after grueling 2 hours on the phone with their supervisor I was then promised a $1900 refund. When coming home from my vacation I saw that the charge on my credit card was still for the entire amount, no recollection of the promised $1900 refund. Since then it's been more than 2 months of countless hours on the phone/emails to HQ in attempts to get back my promised $1900 with no success (I'm still behind on my bills during the Holliday season) They keep deflecting the responsibility to my credit card company but Capital One reps are as shocked as I am with their technics of waring you down so you'd give it up from exhaustion or a nervous breakdown. Since I'm already at the end of my wits, I decided at least to warn others about Hertz Car Rental, they are not a decent company, if they wanted to really refund my $1900 like they claim to I'm sure they could have found a way to do so in the last 70 days of a grueling Unnecessary drama. Car renters Beware!
