I'm very impressed with both the company and the service team that came to my house and fixed my roof. I had received quotes for 2-3 times as much and they werent available for months. Just finished up with my roof repair. The service was excellent. Bill was very responsive, proactively calling me thought out the process from quote to completion. His employees have been with him for long time and do great work. During the repair they discovered there was additional damage to some of the wood under the tile due to water seepage from the cracked tiles. So Bill sends me the new photos and lets me know what else needs to be done which was additional plywood, paper etc. I would not say it was an insignificant amount of work, but they did not charge me anything additional. Now that is customer service! I had also asked them to replace a piece of Fascia board on the front of the house. No problem and when they did the replacement it looked like there should be a piece of metal between the roof and the fascia board. This keeps rain from running into the wood and rotting. So he just did it at no cost. Granted, this was not a big deal, but it is the attention to detail that I really appreciate. In any case, great experience with these guys. Will certainly use them if the need arises and offer any friends a recommendation. read more

I experienced the worst customer service with the company. I wish I would have read the reviews that stated this exact experience because they are all true. I'm shocked anyone has had a good experience with this company or had them come out for repairs. It was very difficult to schedule for someone to come out and walk the roof to give an estimate. Once they set up a time to come, no one showed up. I could not get a response from anyone after calling multiple times. I received an email saying they would look into why the roofer did not show up. When I called the next day to ask about what happened, they still were unable to give me an answer. No one has called me back to fix the situation or schedule a new date and it has almost been a week now. There was no urgency with the situation. I highly do not recommend this company. read more

Had a really bad and sad experience with these guys. 1) The man who came out, I believe was the father, relative or, possibly the owner, his family name matched the business license holder - He proceeded to pull an active bird's nest out, spilling three eggs and killing the chicks. His answer to his action was "I didn't know what that was." --- My answer is he shouldn't be working with roofs. 2) He tried to talk the "scare" sales pitch. Mentioned all the problems I could have --- My answer was I already had problems, I bought a formerly-abandoned home that was neglected. This is my fourth home and know that a roof is necessary to keep spaceships from beaming me out of my bed and implanting crap in my head or keep the rain out. Either. 3) He had no grasp of how to calculate my home's roof area and he struggled with it so that I decided to walk away, telling him to finish his calculations and I was going in the house --- My concrete roof tile is a very standard style and size, all you have to do is count the ridges and layers and know the square footage! Two other quotes were less than 1/4 of the time I spent with this sadly inappropriate person. His quote was $5,500, I paid another roofing company $1,600 for the proper work to be done. I will get around to writing a review of the other roofer, who does MAJOR complexes too, so he ain't no slouch! The word of warning about this firm, it appears (as many "contractors" who go on KNX, KFI and KOGO, etc...) that they aren't about quality, it is all about hitting that "grand slam" and getting gullible people to hire them. Since the owner was trying to sell franchises, you can see where this is going... Unqualified (yes, maybe licensed, but that doesn't make them qualified) people hoping that you aren't wise enough and that you didn't shop around. read more

I had quite the opposite experience of the other reviews on here, Heather was great on the phone she explained everything to me and followed up with an Email confirmation. The technician Robert showed up on time and was clean professional and he went the extra mile to explain everything to me. It is nice that you replied Martin, but you forget something important - if you cannot make it at a certain time then you don't schedule to be there at that time. Yes, you're busy. That doesn't matter. If a certain time doesn't work then you say "sorry we are busy and cannot make it at that time." You don't make the appointment with the intent to break the appointment. That is not how one conducts business. I would still like a real roof inspection, by someone who does more than drive by, and who when giving us a report does it in person instead of by phone, but your roofer Jim said that he won't come back. Perhaps you have someone else who can actually give us the inspection you promised? Your commercials do promise us a free roof inspection, and beyond a phone call by some guy who drove past our house we have no evidence that your company did what they advertise. And if he cannot make it at a given time, then don't promise that he will be there and then break that promise. If you can't make it say so, and we can choose a different time. That way you can show up when you say you are going to show up. read more

After checking my roof, Mike Stout inform me that except for two very minor areas, the roof is in great shape. He applied a tar like material on both areas that could become water entry points down the road and did not charge me because I was a returning customer (used GO Roof 6-7 years ago in L.A. I had Bill Myers and his team look at my roof as a result of recent wind/rain event. I showed him the exact area that was damaged. He then offered to do a complete inspection of my roof. I figured that this would be the point that he would tell me I needed a new roof. To my surprise He didn't. He quoted me the price for the damage as I asked and showed me areas that I might want to fix later to extend the life of the roof. I tried to schedule 3 appointments with GRTU and they did not show up for any of the appointments. Needless to say, I was upset that I asked for the time off of work to wait for their inspector to never show. I heard about GRTU on the radio during the time of some very heavy rains and my ceiling began to leak so I contacted GRTU for an inspection. Robert from GRTU arrived on time and we discussed the leak that had developed. He examined the roof and explained that the roof's condition appeared to be good and a resurfacing with the materials he recommended would solve the problem with the leak. My wife and I spent the next several weeks investigating all possible options (including a roof/solar panel project) and determined that the price and scope of the GRTU was our best option, short of a new roof job costing $10K plus dollars. GRTU arrived the start the job on time witha crew of 3 and completed phase 1 of the roof resurfacing the first day (the weather was over 100 degrees) and completed the final phase on the second day. So far the experience has been positive and what was expected. The job cost was $2,700 that included a 5 year warranty. Until we have rain the success of the job is still unknown so I will come back later this year to post the news on the leak and the roof job. read more

If I could give 0 stars to them I would . Don't waste money with them. They are horrible very unprofessional. We called several times and no answer . The guy cancelled our appoitment several times and when we called back he never picked up.He would lie to us and tell us we were going to be on the top of the list the next day. Then he would call and cancel again and say that we had to be the last ones. We would call the office with our house number and no answer. We got a fake number from the apple store and they answer right away. The lady would tell me she was going to transfer me and she would just hang up on me. TERRIBLE COMPANY RUN!!!!
