Since I spent thousands (paid by checks in Feb, Mar, April and May of '25) to this company, I still have a non-working Enphase battery. I even contacted Enphase today. They were unable to fix their battery and sent me a list of other installers in my area. I cannot reccomend this company for solar or solar add-on. read more

I requested a quote for a solar installation from a few companies a few weeks ago. Thomas was the first one to reply. He was also the only one to provide an actual quote for the solar system I was interested in. None of the other companies did that. They request a bunch of pg&e documentation and then provide a quote for the system they recommend rather than what was requested. He was also quick to set up a meeting and was the first person I spoke to. After all was said and done, he came across as the most knowledgeable and provided the most reasonable quote. He is definitely an expert in this field. If he provided financing as well we would have chosen him to do the installation. Making the switch to solar is a big decision and with so many options the choice can be daunting. I reached out to at least 6 different companies for bids and a couple companies seemed trustworthy, several were way overpriced and one shady... Luckily for me one of the companies I reached out to was Go Solar Pros. Although they don't have a ton of reviews on Yelp (I think they mainly focus on commercial rather than residential) they seemed extremely knowledgeable, were very responsive and upfront with me. Their prices were also extremely reasonable. As such I decided on them. I corresponded with Conrad mainly and signed up during the busy season so I knew installation would be several months out. Conrad gave me a rough estimate which I expected to be a month or two sooner than the actual date, but to my surprise he was spot on. I really appreciate companies that are honest and upfront and Go Solar Pros has always been with me. Installation took place over a couple days unfortunately during the hottest days in the summer but the team were troopers. Everyone was polite, respectful and put up with all my technical questions and concerns. Not once did I feel as if I was a bother or inconvenience to them. The installation went well and looks clean. There was a hiccup at the end when it came to permits with the city, however GSP was on it and able to get the issue resolved in a reasonable amount of time. After the system was installed and payment completed there was an issue with one of the micro converters. GSP was great in troubleshooting, working with Enphase and ultimately replaced the micro converter under warranty. It is also great to work with a company such as Go Solar Pros that offers after sales support and is prompt with resolution even during the busy season. I have a solar system that was installed by PetersonDean, who went bankrupt, leaving me without service. My inverter died and I couldn't find anyone who would replace it, until Thomas and Conrad stepped up to the task. They were great. They replaced the inverter at a reasonable cost. Not only that but they enabled the full monitoring access where previously I was limited in what I could view. The inverter was covered under manufacturers warranty. Understandably the labor wasn't covered under warranty since that was canceled by PetersonDeans bankruptcy. I live in Danville CA, and purchased a solar system from GoSolarPro back in 2016. I worked with both Tom and Conrad and they are both very professional and responsive. I have to say so far so good, almost 8 years now, only with two minor equipment malfunctions but nothing really major. The first incidence happened about two years after the installation when the wireless zigbee stop communicating with the inverter and GoSolarPro took care of me by replacing the zigbee. The second incidence happened recently that I noticed one of my panel was not picking up solar power so I contacted GoSolarPro, almost 8 years later, and work with both Tom and Conrad again, and they scheduled a tech out to my house to replace the failed optimizer. Don't lease a system without calling these guys. I live in Sonora, and purchased an 11.1Kw system from them. So far it has generated as they expected. I worked with Conrad at GoSolarPro. The whole process is friendly and not pushy. There were no slimy sales tactics and absolutely no pressure to sign anything. Everything was upfront and honest. I was entertaining quotes from multiple companies. Right out of the gate, they provided a very competitive offer, and I wound up settling on GoSolarPros. He then worked with me to further customize and tweak my inverter choice, panel choice and layout so that I was very happy. It was a painless process that he was happy to do for me. I have limited southern roof exposure, so he worked with the local fire department to get a sign off to allow an extra 3 or 4 panels on the southern roof. When the inverter showed up, it just happened that the supplier shipped an older version of the same model that we had ordered. I would have never known, but Conrad knew and I had discussed the ability to add a third string on later should I need more power, so he sent the older one back, and had a new one overnighted to keep the install on schedule. At one point several months after install, my inverter briefly stopped generating, the next day Conrad contacted me, stopped by the house, and checked things out. A call to solar edge, and a firmware download later, and it was back to generating. Had I been trying to monitor the platform on my own I am sure it would have been weeks before I noticed. After the install, I did get into the attic and every roof penetration hit the rafter like it was suppose to. There were no split rafters and there were no leaks through the winter at all. Very happy with the sale process, the install, and post service follow up. I wish I had done it sooner. read more

GoSolarPros is the best local solar company around. Living near Sonora and deciding to go solar, I ended up receiving quotes from 4 different companies. GSP beat all of them without any haggling or price negotiations. In fact, the very first quote I received from GSP was literally half the price of a "local" company (which turned out to be nothing more than a high pressure salesman for a national company). It was surprising that a company could be so honest and straightforward throughout the entire process, even going as far as lowering the cost after the price of the panels dropped. Conrad really helped hustle things along to get in under the NEM1 cutoff and never once did I get a "slimy salesman" feeling. I got everything I asked for and was never pressured to make a decision. The install went as planned even during the heat of an August install. The rooftop install had no issues and there are no leaks after the winter rains.
