Took our motorcycle group here and it was a hit. Everyone loved feeding the goats and walking the beautiful grounds. When we were there, Cousins Main Lobster truck was there and they never disappoint. But the best part was the staff manning the bar. They were very knowledgeable about their beer and recommended a good one based off of what I usually drink. And they were funny and kind and just super down to earth people.. also very efficient as I brought in a group of 12 and they were already pretty busy. read more

Such a fun brewery!! Definitely a great spot to go if you have kids. They have goats that the kids can pet. You can buy food to feed them. Some delicious beer options. If you're not a beer person they have seltzers too. Food truck was onsite. Can't remember which one but it had fried chicken sandwiches. So good!!! Great scenery. I visited Goathead Brewing on a busy Saturday afternoon a few days after Christmas. There was an abundance of families there with their kids, giddy from the freedom of Christmas break and the exhilaration of the holidays. It was as loud as a school playground in the back patio area. Along the back bordering fence of the goat pen, visitors could pet the several breeds of curious goats vying for attending (and snacks). The staff in the taproom seemed a little overwhelmed by the crowd. There really wasn't any time for the customary discussion about the different beers and having a taste of one that you're curious about. No, the atmosphere here when we were there was more of no delays, just put in an order and get outta the way. I randomly picked a 4-beer flight, found a place to sit (with difficulty), and tasted them. I had a blonde ale, a Belgian, a dark ale, and a stout. All four seemed to be weighted towards the bitter and not very balanced. I should probably come back another time when they are not so busy. However, it's a pretty long drive to get here, so it's not along my usual paths of travel. I doubt I'll be back anytime soon. read more

One day, our friend was just bored and he wanted to browse around the area and he stumbled upon this place. He was so glad he did! When my husband visited him and his wife on a long weekend, he took us here and we're glad that we did too. This place is modest, plain wholesome, family oriented, environmentally responsible location. The goats are also one of their main attractions and the kids will really enjoy feeding them. I enjoyed it myself as well. You can hangout outdoor plus they have taco and burrito food truck. The beer? They have different varieties but since me and my husband are not hardcore beer drinker, we just ordered their samples so he and I can share. Our friend ordered his own full glass. You can bring the kids since they have farm animals and a small lake too. Seriously worth the effort to find this hidden gem and get to enjoy for awhile. Highly recommended. GoatHouse Brewing Co. is a family owned and operated goat ranch, located outside of Lincoln, CA with hops growing in the "back 40" and a micro brewery in the ex-barn! The brewery is open Thursday through Sunday, and practically every weekend, there is a food truck, with a different food vendor serving a different cuisine every weekend. Not to mention there are plenty of goats for your enjoyment... As you're traveling on rural Wise Road, outside Lincoln, CA, it would be easy to miss GoatHouse Brewing Co., if it wasn't for the sign. After turning into the driveway, it's a quarter mile to the brewery on a gravel road, but the scenery is beautiful, and the ducks playing around in the nearby canal will keep you laughing. The herd of goats live in a sanctuary pasture, outside brewery, behind the patio. This isn't a "petting zoo" for the children, but the goats are friendly, and love to come up to the fence and enjoy attention. You can purchase food to feed the goats, which will net you unconditional friendship from them. During my visit, there were lots of folks of the "younger set" enjoying the afternoon, feeding the goats. The goats love it!! As you enter the brewery - or the restaurant if you want to call it - you'll notice the bar to the right, picnic tables, and the micro brewery tanks. The whole operation is housed in an ex-barn, which adds to the rustic charm, and adds to the taste of the amazing beer served on-tap, at the bar. Practically every weekend, GoatHouse Brewing Co. has a different food truck, featuring a different cuisine, and today, I was treated to tacos from Zintzuni. On this late Saturday morning, Zintzuni's tacos are popular to go with the amazing micro beer. Before enjoying a lunch of three "Street Tacos," I just "HAD" to enjoy a bear. So I went with a "Phat Bastard Scotch Ale," which was amazing and got me in the mood for a delicious lunch of tacos. From the "monitor menu," placed on the side of the taco truck, I ordered "Street Tacos," which always works with me. My choice of meat was carne asada, and besides steak, pork and chicken are listed on the menu. When the "order guy" asked me what I wanted on my tacos, I requested "everything," as there is nothing on a taco that I don't love. So, I got it all. These are authentic "street tacos," which get the name as they're sold on the streets of every Mexican city, town or village, by street vendors. Each taco started with two DVD-size corn tortillas - just like from a Mexican street vendor - and included a generous helping of marinated steak - carne asada - cut into bit-size pieces. Since I asked for "everything" each taco was garnished with chopped white onion, along with chopped, fresh cilantro. Condiments included a couple small cups of in-truck made medium-hot salsa - at my request - along with a cup of sour cream for dipping. Great "street" tacos, and if I would have closed my eyes, I could have imagined that I was on Av. Juarez in Nuevo Laredo, enjoying tacos from a street vendor. Naturally, when I opened my eyes and saw the styrafoam box and the container of sour cream, I knew I was in Lincoln. Great tacos, as the meat was marinated, juicy and tender, and the veggies were fresh and delicious. The corn tortillas were perfectly toasted on the griddle, and held together as I enjoyed my delicious tacos. I love "foodie" trucks, and Zintzuni is a great "foodie" truck, with a limited menu, as can be expected within the limitations of a food truck. At $11.00 for three "Street Tacos," I consider the price on the "steep" side, but it is what it is, and the authentic Mexican "street" cuisine is delicious. After enjoying a lunch of three "Street Tacos' from Zintzuni food truck, I just HAD to order another beer... how could any beer lover resist? Friendly Kristina poured my beer from the tap, and fellow friendly bartender, Josh, joins her for the photo. Great beer, and friendly people at GoatHouse Brewing Company! My "goblet" of "My Daddy Says" IPA. The menu describes this beer as "West Coast IPA, with mosaic, simcoe and centennial." It has 9.4% alcohol, so it's potent, and will keep you satisfied as you watch the goats and enjoy the amazing beer. It's a great beer, with a "stand-up" taste, which is a trademark of west coast IPA. Anyway you look at, "My Daddy Says" is a great IPA, and my only regret is that I didn't have a designated driver, so instead of simply enjoy a small goblet of this amazing beer, I could have enjoyed a growler. Alas, unless you have a designated driver, a goblet is the way to go. Fine micro brew, good food, a lovely ranch, friendly service, along with lots of cute goats make GoatHouse Brewing Co. a delightful weekend "destination" for your micro brew and "foodie" enjoyment. This was my first stop on my Father's day extravaganza. Upon driving up we were greeted by a worker that helped us with a parking spot. After parking and entering the brewery we ordered our first drinks. The brewery had a huge selection of beers on tap. All drinks were in stock and the beer menu was current. The only bummer was that the brewery was not offering individual flights or tasters due to covid. I personally like to try a flight before comitting to a single pint. I tried several different beers and none of them disappointed. The beers were cold and very refreshing. The brewery had open seating and plenty of space for large groups. The inside seating is extremely warm due to the open air concept, so be prepared to sweat on a hot summer day. The brewery is both dog and kid friendly. I really like that they offer pet food so that you can feed the goats on site. We will definitely visit this brewery again the next time we are in the area. read more

Showed up with wife and friends on a zipping tour of the place trail ! The brews are awesome, one tastes like organic peach, another one tastes like your favorite Irish dark ale! The staff is awesome, we even got a sneak peak on the upcoming changes by the staff and where the goats go after hours! The place is kid friendly but dear PARENTS!!! Please be careful with how your children go about mud puddles and goat feed. There was a sign where the parking lot starts and some kids were in the parking lot bare feet getting their feet dipped in mud. Another one was kids kept dropping feed lol. The parents were wasting money on more feed. Just give your kids feed by the hand full at a time . The goat feeding for adults is fun too! We had fun with that. When the kids left I even got industrious and picked up pellets dropped by kids and fed them to the goats . I didn't find any inconveniences with the children, I'm just putting it out there so that other parents and kids don't become laughing content and/or embarrassed. I would return. read more

Essentially this place is a daycare that serves beer. Hard to find a seat inside due to large families taking up full tables. Not sure what was louder, the screaming baby or the donkey. Entertaining to watch cars pull up, 3 kids jump out and sprint to the goat pen while their parents went inside to get beers and disappear for 15 minutes. Solid 5 stars here. The entire experience was great. The location is in the middle of old Lincoln where you can actually enjoy Mother Nature. The beer is good. Unfortunately, you can't do a tasting, but (if you have a DD) you can always try a variety of pints. I tried the Moko Priestess that was packed with flavor. Bourbon Barrel aged with a sour red ale finish that paired nicely with my burger. Second round I had the Blonde Moment. It had some good citrus through the entire gulp and was so refreshing on a hot June day. After we ate, I got some food to feed the goats with my Sonshine and he enjoyed feeding them just as much as I enjoyed the beer. The entire area is kid friendly with picnic tables for them to run free around and the goats are an added benefit. Great service, great beer and a nice hidden gem in Lincoln. Came here on Sunday 06/05/22 around 3pm. There was a good amount of guests. I ordered 4 kinds of beer which are Ménage and Honey Baby which are in the light category. Both were good but I prefer the taste of Honey Baby better. We also got Keep It Classy which is in the medium category that is a classic IPA, also good. Lastly we got Darkside which is in the dark category and this had a rich chocolate flavor. Darkside was our least fave. There are goats and a donkey that you can feed outside. You have to go to the bar and ask for the food which is three dollars. This is a cute spot where you can bring kids to feed the animals. read more

Fantastic beer! Super relaxing atmosphere. Great people. And, it's out in the countryside so you can sit outside at picnic tables, under plenty of big shade trees, and just enjoy some pastural peace and quiet! I went here for the first time while visiting family in the area. I tried four of their beers (there were at least a dozen available), and every one was excellent. Of particular note I loved the Redhead English style ale, and the Stout. Both were very smooth, creamy, no funny aftertastes. I could have sat there drinking beer all afternoon long. We brought a picnic lunch, as our local family knew that GoatHouse does not serve food. There was an independent food truck parked out in the corner of the parking lot, and I heard there usually is one there. But GoatHouse is totally cool with people packing in any kind of food / picnic they want. There are a small number of tables indoors, but the vast majority of the seating is outdoors, and there is plenty of shady areas, and some sunny areas. They have a fenced area adjacent to the back of the outdoor seating that houses some goats and a cow or two. Several kids were having a blast petting the goats. Out in the sticks of Placer County sits a really dope little farm house brewery...and they have goats. Friendly, hungry, wildly photogenic goats, to be precise. Although they weren't heavy on variety, the beers they had on tap the day we visited were really damn good. The staff is incredibly friendly and funny. Oh and they have goats. The property is really enjoyable as they've got a cool little pond, nice covered outdoor space to drink and unwind, and goats. Have I mentioned those goats yet? I believe they do food trucks some days, but when we went they had the mandated pizza/hotdog offering thanks to ol' Gavinator. Stopped in on our way to wine tasting for my birthday. Very cute place with a donkey and some goats to feed and pet. They'll give you some goat food at the bar if you ask. They had a decent selection of beer, my friends all found ones they liked. I am really only a fan of Sour beers, which sadly they do not offer. I did have something light with lime that was pretty good. Kinda bummer that they don't do tastings, so you have to blindly order and hope you like it. They do offer a "taster" size so you can get a smaller portion. Lots of outdoor space with the petting animals, so lots of people had brought their children to run around. I have heard about GoatHouse Brewing and have been wanting to go here for a long time. I finally got the chance to visit this brewery after snow shoeing in Truckee. It is a bit deep in the cuts if you don't live in the surrounding area. Upon arriving, there were some greeters waiting at the gate to tell you where to park. The barn-like brewery is very cute with many family activities to do. My husband and I tried a sampler with 6 different beers. Unfortunately, none of the beers really stood out to us. Darn, I forgot to check into this place. Learned about this place because I wanted to check out Cousins Maine Lobster. I saw them on Shark Tank and have been following them since their trucks are in 2 states I spend time in; California and North Carolina. I love the city life, but I am a country girl at heart. I love the small town feel and the country roads. I felt at home when we pulled up to the brewery. Ordered our food and sat inside the barn. Lobster rolls and beer just go too well together, so I started with a 5oz of Honey Baby. Yum! We chatted with the folks across the table, and had a blast. Then our friends joined us and they quickly ordered a flight. After that, I had to order a flight as well. One of the highlights was when I picked up the first glass and saw that the condensation created a "happy face". I was a bit perplexed and looked under the glass to see how that would've happened. Then others seated next to me noticed it too. Next thing you know people are taking their phones out to take a picture. When the owner walked by, my friend showed him. My friend also mentioned it to another staff member, who said that I should yelp it. So here I am, doing JUST that. Loved the prices. It was SO affordable. And it was a nice and easy menu to order from. The staff is really nice and helpful and constantly walking around picking up empty glasses. It's nice to have both in door and outdoor seating. Some even brought their own lawn chairs to place outside, which has plenty of room. There are also a couple of outdoor games for everyone to enjoy. And they also have goats. You can purchase carrots from the bar and feed the goats. To be honest, I can't find anything wrong with the place. I'd definitely go back! I wish I lived closer to enjoy it more often. read more

Five Stars! We went for my husband's birthday with a group of friends. The host was so kind and offered to keep our birthday cake in the fridge for us until we were ready. He made rounds clearing empty glasses and came back with a small gift for my husband, thanking us for choosing Goat House to celebrate at.
