We're meeting friends and family this weekend, Goccia D'oro reserved a special area just for our party. I haven't been here in a while, the owner it seems invested some money to transform the dining room to have multiple parties. There was a glass wall partition and I saw another family party happening on this Saturday afternoon. (We had the side with the bar ;)) House wine bottles were on the table but it's Saturday so I went with a Vodka Martini because I'm fan-say. The lunch menu was nice with a choice of Chicken Parmesan, Veal Marsala or Sole Oreganto. I went with the veal! First, shareable starters came to the table. Roasted red peppers, fresh mozzarella on top of tomatoes and rolled salami. So so good, I'd be happy with this and the bruschetta that was served. The veal came out and the sauce was very flavorful. Nice Marsala with quality mushrooms. Mmm mm! The surprise for us was the dessert trays. Various Italian cookies (I think I took all the pignoli cookies!) it was a nice ending to our meal. We made a 3:30 PM Easter reservation for a party of 20, expecting to share an important holiday meal together, especially meaningful as it was our first without our father who recently passed away. We chose to dine out to make the day a little easier for our mom, but unfortunately, the experience added more stress than comfort. When we arrived, we were told our group was split between two separate tables. This was never communicated when the reservation was made, and we would have appreciated knowing in advance if accommodating us at one table wasn't possible. To make matters worse, we were told that another party was unhappy with their seating, so our group was divided to accommodate them. That was extremely disappointing given that we had a confirmed reservation for a large group. While the food itself was good, the service fell well below expectations. My nephew had to ask four times for a Diet Coke that ultimately took an hour to get. Coffee was served without cream or sugar, and one of our appetizers never made it to the table until we were all done with that course and while they did not add it to the bill the experience was frustrating. Overall, it was a frustrating experience on a day that meant a lot to our family. Better communication and more attentive service would have made a big difference. If these things matter in addition to good food, pick another restaurant. read more

My wife and I came here for a Birthday Celebration. We started with , Fried Calamari, Clams & Lobster for Appetizers. They were very good. Then of course typical Salad. For my main course I order the Chicken Cutlet Parmigiana and desert we had birthday cake and coffee. Wine was included, was ok. Service was good, they had a lot of customers to take care of, so they hustled all night. They also had live music in the next room which a nice touch. Its our go to restaurant in Lindenhurst. We tried just about every place in Lindy and Babylon, but we always come back to Goccia Doro. The food is always good, prices reasonable, fix menu during the week and entertainment on Saturday nights. The staff is always available, getting drinks or food additions are never a problem. The owner Tito is always there making sure everybody happy. Please don't ask for table 19, that's mine. read more

I went with my husband, my good friend and my good friends on 3/8/23 and we went when it was dead quiet. Which I kind of liked. The music was low enough where even when we whispered we social her each other. There was another party going on and it wasn't loud at all. The service was great as well. My friend had said that they have a different menu, so the one pictured is only for Wednesdays and Thursdays. They run a special those nights. $23 for an entree, main course and dessert. Which is nice. I had the penne with mushrooms, zucchini and shrimp and it was delicious! I also had the tiramisu for dessert and it was so good. I would give 0 stars if I could. Dined here with my family on Christmas Eve. Waited 30 minutes past our reservation for our table. Not because the tables were full because half the tables in the restaurant have not been bussed. Once we got to our seats we had to beg someone for waters and a menu for our table. They brought over just a drink menu. We had to ask for food menus. Waitress came over and took our order. No hi how are you no happy holidays. No one checked on how are food came out and it took almost an hour an a half to get our food. I asked if my food and my partners food could be put in the same container and the waitress looked at me like I had 10 heads. If an ITALIAN RESTAURANT is going to be open for Christmas. Hire people who actually seem like they give a shit to work there and care about servicing people on a holiday. Disgusting establishment. Management was no where to be found. I really like this place the whole feel of it just has a comfortably. The food is constantly good. Calamari, clams and muscles apps all great. seafood risotto is definitely worth a try. On Sunday, June 18, 2023 my sister and I booked this restaurant for my mother's surprise 90th birthday. What a wonderful birthday party we had here inside the restaurant from start to finish. Tito and Carlos and the team did an extraordinary job. Very easy, very friendly to deal with. The restaurant seating was set up just as we had asked it to be done. We were allowed to decorate the tables and do as we wanted for the birthday celebration. The food was amazing from the appetizers to the salad to the pasta dish then the choice of four main entrées. The restaurant was beautiful inside and I would highly recommend anybody to come here just for lunch or dinner or have one of your celebrations here as you can't go wrong with this restaurant. Their Tuesday night pasta dinner deal was amazing! You get soup, salad, entree, coffee and a dessert! They even provide complimentary brusheta for the table. The prices here are more than fair. hi i would like a manager to call me i took my parents tonight for their 53rd Anniversary with my husband and children. there are not many places left with a band my children age 4 and 1 love to dance they. stay near us and dance i felt like an outcast i spent over $ 300 to get dirty looks from patrons that were there granted I see the ages of these customers I felt like I didn't belong these two people were so nasty giving dirty looks to any child that was dancing on the dance floor if you guys don't want kids there there should be an age limit or restriction for Saturday night my children are well behaved except the 1 yr old did scream 2xs but it was controlled . maybe you should consider having a kids night with dancing im mortified that I ended up having an argument with this nasty aged women at a restaurant in my own neighborhood with my family and kids I will NEVER go back!!!!!!!! read more

Got catering twice from here. The food is great for the price that you pay!! They give you complimentary bread, salad and dressing with every catering order even if it's just one tray. Half a tray on average costs 35$. So far we had chicken parmigiana, chicken D'oro, fried zucchini, and eggplant rollatini. Both times the food was good! The bread and salad that came with the food was also very good. I like that bread rolls were warm. They also help you bring out the food to you car which is nice! They charge you a fee if you are using a credit card to pay so that kind of stinks but it's only like 3%. read more

Went to a birthday party a few weeks ago at this restaurant. Food was great. Service great. It was such a great night. There was a band. Went to dinner here tonight but have been here previously for a bridal and baby shower. I like how they had olives in oil on the table accompanied with bruschetta and a mini loaf of bread. I ordered Rigatoni Siciliano which I thought was decent. My mom didn't like her dish. She said the chicken was cold and she could tell that it was reheated. My husband said the same about his dish-meatballs reheated. We ordered dessert which was good-NY Cheesecake and a cannoli. I think the cheesecake slice was a little on the small side though. They had a singer there who was pretty awful but he intermittently played pre recorded fun dance music. It was cute to see some people get up and dance with disco lights going but the singer has got to go. The restuarant needs an update. It's very dark and outdated with mirrors on the walls-1990ish. The waitstaff was very nice but slow. I don't think I will be back here for dinner because my husband and parents won't want to go. read more

I then ordered my normal clam sauce that I gauge how good an Italian restaurant is by and it was horrible. It was so overly salty that I couldn't even finish it. The food looked good. We made a reservation, showed up on time, no host to greet us. We stood there for a while, and a random server asked if we were helped, we were not. He told ya to wait, and we did. Then a manager came over and asked us to wait by the bar. We got a drink and continued to wait........ 45 minutes.... no communication.... nothing, just wait staff running around to tables. I don't even know who to ask for a guess on time to wait. Other people are getting sat before us.... it appears that everyone here knows everyone else... decided to cut our losses and leave. Great news though, next door is a nice restaurant called Hermanas. Great atmosphere, much better service. All and all I'd say my night would have been ruined if not for Hermanas. So maybe Goccia is worth going to on like a Tuesday afternoon or something, but for a Saturday, go next door. read more

...FIVE STARS!!!! We just had my daughter's baptism celebration here this afternoon...with 42 people, and everything was absolutely wonderful!! The food was incredible, service was excellent, nice variety of food options, and VERY reasonable pricing! Very accommodating, as they gave us the mixed dessert platter AND let us bring in a cake of our own for no additional fee!! How great is that??! We had been recommended by my in-laws along with a few other friends, and so this was my husband's and my first time here...and we were very pleased!! All of our guests were very happy with the food as well!! Will definitely recommend in the future and definitely plan to return!! read more

It's a shame. This restaurant used to be wonderful. We went there for years before covid - always with 8 or more people. The head waiter, Carlos, is fantastic. The other waiters and busboys were always great too. And the owner used to be good. And the food and entertainment - was always good. But it obviously is no longer a place to go to. I have been calling to make reservations for a party of 15. I've left messages for a couple of days. I called AGAIN tonight - and I got a lovely young lady who tried to help but couldn't. Then I wanted to speak to the owner. And I did - and he basically suggested that I was lying and never called and left the messages when, in fact, I did twice before tonight's call. Note that, almost always, every time we were there we would grossly over-tip everyone - the waiter, the bartenders, and even the busboys. The tip would be over 35% each time. We USE TO love that place. It's an an abomination to suggest that a long-time customer would be lying about leaving messages. So now - we cannot go for the birthday party that we had planned. And now, 15 people who were to have the party know about this - and will never go there again. Especially, in these times, you would think a business would be on their game when it comes to customer service. But, no, not here. Certainly not anymore. So - thanks for the past - but the past is the past. And our group will never darken the doors of that place again. read more
