The staff was super friendly, even if they don't know what a card catalog or the Dewey Decimal system is. There were couches and tables and vast variety of seating options. They have a super cute "shop" area. Left with some fun snarky stickers too. I had a cinnamon roll latte and it was amazing. I asked for mine with no maple and they happily obliged me. I needed protein so I had the Trailblazer wrap that had chicken in it. It was packed full of a delicious combination of flavors and sauced with the perfect amount of sriracha mayo. It came with a healthy portion of chips. I forgot to take a pic until I had eaten half. It was sooo good. We asked the staff for recommendations for other good places to eat in the area. They were super helpful.

The coffee was excellent, but the entirety of the place is what makes it so remarkable. The food we had (Acai bowl and quiche) was excellent and generously portioned. Whoever on the team has the eye for design has the place very well curated, from the artwork to the stickers and other things for sale. Only encountered one employee but he was very friendly and kind to me and my family. Outdoor area is super rad as well! Visit Ace today!

Anyhow, it's white people taco night food. Steak fajitas were fine--steak was underseasoned and a bit chewy, but peppers, guac, and pico were relatively fresh. Tortillas were soft, rice and beans were lukewarm and nothing special. Food came out extremely fast, and I appreciated the big portions after a long day of hiking. Deep fried ice cream wasn't my favorite but maybe it's just not my thing.

There was a covered portion, but we stayed in the sun to stay warm in the cool spring air. The server sat us immediately and brought us complimentary fresh chips and salsa. We were starving, so we gobbled them up while flipping through the extensive menu. The servers brought us extra chips and salsa while we waited for our food and drinks. I ordered a chicken quesadilla and two steak tacos off the à la carte lunch menu (until 3pm daily). There was a $0.99 upcharge each for grilled vs shredded chicken and carne asada vs ground beef, and it was totally worth it. My daughter ordered two grilled chicken quesadillas as well. And our friends ordered beef nachos and a fajita platter. All of it was delicious, with large portions. I had a couple of house margaritas, which were tasty and a steal at just $5.50 each. My only complaints were that the queso dip was rather small and not worth the $5, and (like most places) they charge way too much for a soda ($3.25). The service was excellent. Our server Juan was friendly and very attentive, and several others checked in on us throughout our meal to ensure we were taken care. I'll definitely be back the next time I visit Cave City, Hidden River Cave, or Kentucky Down Under.

Tap beer was nice and cold. One kid got a raspberry lemonade slushy that was SO good! Restrooms were clean. My kids spilled and they were so gracious and helpful, even though I was embarrassed. Would definitely stop again!

Food was where things fell off for us. We ordered a large pineapple pizza to share and it came out pretty soggy, like the crust just couldn't hold up. Maybe too much sauce? And the sauce itself just wasn't hitting... Not terrible, just not something I'd order again. Service wise, I felt for the guy working because he was basically running the whole place on his own (on a Saturday??). There was someone in the back, but still... we waited a while for everything. The bigger issue though was the pricing. The menu we ordered from was outdated, and we didn't find out until the bill came. That part honestly didn't sit right with me. There wasn't an apology or anything, and I really think menu pricing should be honored or at least clearly communicated upfront. If you're the owner reading this, I think you're really close. The space is great, just tighten up the food consistency, update your menus (or give a heads up), and maybe get a little more help on busy days.
