My first call to a Chevy Dealer let me know that they could not even look at my Tahoe until the next day - not even for a quick diagnosis. By contrast, the service manager at Hedricks approved a diagnostic check the same day - which showed that it was all battery related. Within 2 hours, working with Julian, my car had a new battery and I was on my way. Some dealers provide service - while others epitomize the spirit of service. Could your vehicle have caused the part to malfunction , could I have had something to do with it malfunctioning. I have been working on cars since I was 14 years old and I am 52 now. I think I know a thing or two about cars. As I mentioned before If the part was covered under the warranty Great, if not, so be it. I still needed the part. In the end I ended up getting a partial warranty price on a very pricey part BUT I sure could have done without the rude 3rd degree treatment.
