We had them come out to give us a quote on some yard work. We wanted a laurel trimmed, shape up a bush and weed two garden patches. We agreed to the price and set a time. They came out and did a great job on the laurel and bush but did not weed the gardens. My husband called them and they took a look at the estimate again. Apparently, they put the entire job in the title but not in the body of the estimate. They said they would have someone come out and take a look but were not able to set a time. One further unanswered call and we are still waiting to hear. I will agree we should have looked closer at the estimate and they did a good job on the work they did but I'm turned off about the issues with the gardens. Not even a call back? GGE has been great and easy to work with so far. I'm writing as a member of an HOA in which they have the contract servicing our community space. They have been flexible when we've had to add some things missed in the initial bid (our fault), and they've been friendly, professional, and great at communication. I requested an estimate for some work detailing what I wanted done. The gentlemen who did the bid spoke to me while looking at the yard sizing up the job he offered some additional services that may be of benefit and I declined those additional services. He went to his truck prepared the bid and decided to send me a quote with those services still listed in the quote. Company does not listen and attempts to overcharge. I had the work done for a third of what this company wanted make sure to shop around and don't get taken advantage of from companies like this. read more

They did a good job once they arrived. I was kept waiting a couple hours because of some kind of mixup, but they apologized and offered additional service because of it. They did what was asked and more, and cleaned everything up well, which I appreciated. Their price was fair. I do think that these kinds of services should come to the door when they arrive, and let the owner know when they are done so the job can be inspected, but it doesn't seem to be the norm. These people were two hours late the first day, then stayed barely an hour (I was billed for two hours). The second time they came back (NOT the next day) they were 3 hours late-was just told that they had left at SIX a.m. for the dump (15 minutes from their house) A crew of 3 arrived. One was the owner's son who I finally asked the 'foreman' "how long he had been working with them" as he was working at a snail's pace, stopping repeatedly, using his cell phone, not returning from the truck to work (the owner, Doug, wanted to weed whack, mow & remove the cuttings of weeds, foxtail & tall grass from my pasture & yard on an HOURLY rate, saying his men worked fast) He was also dropping cut grass the entire way as he walked to dump it in their truck- leaving it where he'd dropped it. I began videoing at this point. The foreman said that "he didn't work for them that he had another job-he was only helping out". They packed up to leave mid afternoon - 4 hours in, without finishing - saying Doug told him they had another job to go to. When I had initially asked Doug how they intended to get the tall grass & foxtails as some time had passed from the time he had given me a quote & when they finally came to work - that the grass had shot up a LOT taller- he said they would FIRST weedwhack THEN mow & collect the cut debris with a bagger. I had stressed when they were hired that it was imperative to remove the foxtails before they matured as I have a 31 year old horse and and a dog that patrols the property & cats - that foxtails can pose a serious threat to them, also that the cut grass needed to be hauled away as it would be life threatening if a horse ingested copious amounts of fresh cut grass. I specifically asked the foreman if all the grass was picked up as they were leaving & was told that it was. After they left I could see that they had NOT weedwhacked before mowing, that the tall grass & weeds were only flattened (posing a tripping hazard for me as my leg is crippled) and the grass had NOT been entirely removed but MUCH of it lay cut on TOP of the flattened unmowed grass & weeds. I took many many photos & videos & called, text & sent the pictures asking that they come back & remove the grass, reiterating the danger to my horse but got no response. I had no choice but to try & rake & pick up the grass myself- with an injured back, crippled leg & being almost 70 years old-all of which I'd shared with Doug when I hired him. It took me until dark & a total of FOUR HOURS & 4O MINUTES and two FULL wheelbarrows and a five gallon bucket and there was STILL more! Doug's wife called the next day but did not come to look at what was done & NOT done to my property until late afternoon & then was simply LEAVING AT 4P.M.-WITHOUT making a single call to get someone out to get the rest of the grass I had NOT gotten... After MUCH chiding & reiterating how dangerous fresh cut grass was for any horse, let alone a 31 year old horse, Ruby haughtily said that she would "JUST DO IT HERSELF"... She then spent ANOTHER TWO HOURS collecting ANOTHER FULL wheelbarrow of grass - breaking my rake in the process, which she not only left in my pasture but promised to replace and to date, a month later, has not. They sent a bill stating they would not START any ADDITIONAL work until the bill had been paid. Nothing about the horrendous quality of their work, let alone any offer to make it right - not even an apology or reparation of my rake. To date, Doug has not come to my property to inspect the nit only incomplete but horrific job his crew did nor has he spoken to me directly. I had initially asked Doug if they were Christians because of the name of their company, he said "yes" & even told me the name of his church. I told him I was relieved that he was a Christian & had chosen to hire HIM - BECAUSE he was a Christian. I have NEVER been so disappointed in a professed Christian nor as disgusted with a business owner as I am with Doug & Ruby & GODS GREEN EARTH. They even left the entrance to my property a mess! I have MANY photos to substantiate my complaints. I see they have good reviews... I can only surmise that MY job meant nothing to them, maybe I don't have a nice enough property, I can't really imagine why really. I just know that I am left with a mess, my 31 year old hirse was put in jeopardy by them, they were PLEADED with to come back with NO response then NO ATTEMPT TO DATE, A MONTH ON, to fix the mess they left OR even replace my broken rake. What kind of people do this??? Let alone to a 70 year old crippled woman???? read more

Doug and his crew were amazing! He took the time to go over what we wanted done in the yard. He communicated very well how everything would go. On the day of service they were on time, respectful, cleaned up after, and did a great job! Doug provided clear instructions on how to care for the new lawn. When we contacted him with questions he was prompt to answer. Even checked in on the grass and reseeded some spots for us too! The quality of the service was unprofessional . They started the work without disclosing that they would not be able to complete the work in a timely manner.They came out and did a partial job. The owner secured the deposit as they were working. They left without informing me of their departure.I had to call to find out when they would be returning.They returned a week later,but the service was poor .They cut the trees without informing that they would not remove the stump.They also had to come back and remove the weeds. They had to come out to come out three times,due to the incomplete work.Overall the quality of service was unprofessional . read more
