While I know that nothing is perfect, I feel like things are now as close to perfect as they can be and I'm completely satisfied. I'd love to shoutout the INCREDIBLE service Stephen provided me. He went way beyond my expectations to make things right and didn't make me feel bad about it. I hate to complain, but I knew it was something that would stick in the forefront of my mind. No friendly greeting...just "You will need to come back tomorrow." I told her that I was just going to look at their collection, and that I wasn't going to buy anything. She again told me to leave and come back another day, because there were only two people running the store and they were closing in 20 minutes. The first time, the repair cost $16. The second time, the repair cost $48. When I asked Dale why it was three times more expensive, he said he didn't know why. When I mentioned the previous repair cost and the cost of the necklace (wanting to make sure it was appropriately appraised), he said the repair cost was $48. When I asked if he could help me understand why he'd triple his price for such a small repair, he said, "Maybe we used the laser." When I asked what that meant and if that would be the case if the same thing were to happen again, he said, "Cash or card?" I felt dismissed and taken advantage of. I recommend going somewhere else, especially if you are a young woman.
