Didn't purchase anything but very attentive service. Interesting decor. Eclectic selection,…read moreincluding estate pieces. Prices seemed reasonable (and I had been to several jewelers that day on a shopping trip with a friend so I had concurrent pricing). Will definitely be checking back for new pieces. Parking is available but it is a tight little lot.

I took a ring there to have it resized on 4/15/2025, picked up on 4/22/2025. The shank broke on 5/11/2026, and I took it back on 5/12/2026. The lady who waited on me made a loud production about their one-year warranty and how the damage to my ring was outside of the year. It was 3 weeks outside of the warranty. It was unprofessional behavior and there were other people in the business who could hear her admonish me. She said she would speak to the owner and get back to me. I received a text message on 5/13/2026, stating that I could pay $40 for the repair. I picked up my ring and took it to another jewelry store who looked the ring over to give me an estimate. Attached is the picture I took when they explained that the work that had been done was faulty. There are bubbles in the shank and you can see the lines where the metal was added to upsize the ring. So much for over 30 years' experience in the business. I would expect this type of customer experience with a corporate owned business where profit is the goal over everything else, not from a "locally owned business that advertises that you can trust your precious family heirlooms with them." Update/Response: The ring was not bent nor had it been sized before. I hardly wear this ring, and I never wear it for work, around the house or in the garden. I received this from a grandparent, and it was a size 4 or 5. Fircrest is the only jeweler that I have had size this ring, and that was in April of last year. It broke at the seam of the metal that was used to upsize the ring to a size 8.5. The jeweler that looked over the ring was not impressed with the work and there was no discussion about the ring being bent or sized multiple times.

Over the years, I've visited several coin shops throughout Seattle, Bellevue, and…read moreLynnwood--sometimes to check the value of a piece, other times to sell old scrap gold or silver. After all of those experiences, the only shop I consistently return to and wholeheartedly recommend is the Seattle Coin Shop. What sets them apart is their honesty and professionalism. Having worked in retail for years, including in a shop that purchased jewelry and coins, I have a decent sense of how these transactions should work. At many places, you can feel rushed, undervalued, or unsure if you're getting a fair assessment. At Seattle Coin Shop, it's the complete opposite. Every time I've brought something in--whether it was a single coin, or mixed scrap items--they've taken the time to explain what I have, how they assess its value, and what factors influence their offer. There's never any pressure, and they're patient with questions. Their evaluations have always felt transparent and straightforward, which is rare in this type of industry. Most importantly, it's the only shop where I've consistently walked away feeling confident that I was treated honestly and fairly--that peace of mind matters, especially when dealing with items that have monetary or sentimental value. Seattle Coin Shop is the only place I trust, and the only one I recommend to anyone looking to buy, sell, or simply learn more about their coins or precious metals.
