Came here for a girls day brunch and it did not disappoint! We got there fairly early and after about 20 minutes it started to get really busy. A few of us had the bottomless mimosas and the rest had the margarita flights. Both were really good. Our server was attentive and did a great job of explaining everything since it was our first time. Food came out and it was really good! Bought a $40 bottomless expresso martini package with a group of 5. At first, we were worried since the restaurant didn't seem to be familiar with the package details that Bucketlisters had listed on their website. But wow, they made sure to deliver on hospitality! Our bartender was the BEST. He took care of our drink needs, suggested great food items and let us have our fun. If you go for food, I suggest later in the afternoon since it's hard to justify the vibe in the early morning. The area is definitely made for partying. Given this is a newer place, I'm giving 5 stars. Big potential here and awesome experience for us all. We'll probably be back for the late night crowd! read more

Good spot for grabbing a snack and drink after work. They don't have any draft beers; and had 3 beers available modelo, Miller lite & 1 other. The fried pickles had a good crunch. The server was pretty quick and friendly. Flatbread wise it was fine- exactly what I'd expect of bar food. They seem to have a lot of random specials. I was surprised they didn't have draft beers after the advertisement showed a beer in a beer stein. The special advertised was also a bit different than what I'd expect reading it. Online it advertised live music on Fridays. I was there 6-7ish & they hadn't begun- so it's likely a later night situation. Overall it's a cute spot with ok food & drinks. Not sure how the prices fluctuate from Happy hour to evening to late night, The interior is fun. I imagine later in the night it's a popular spot for 20 something's. read more

Desserts, bottomless brunch, etc) The food was really good. We had the: BRISKET - best I've had in Chicago hands down. Usually bbq houses have really dry brisket. This one is smoked for 24hours, great rosemary flavors & fat vs meat combo. Pretty rare to find BOURBON GLAZED BLACKENED WINGS - sweet & smokey , comes with 3 wings & 3 drumsticks. I could have a whole bucket lol TATER BARRELS - I've never seen these in my life. They are as big as a small lime, and comes with a spicy garlic aoili CHEESE CURDS - southern style , we dipped it with the tater sauce GRILLED SAUSAGE - Cajun & slightly spicy, comes with lots of peppers & onions grilled Cocktails IYKYK - this is Vegas cosmo hotel inspired, never seen before with a unique flower that you eat - it numbs your mouth with a tingling sensation and even changes the taste of your drink! Absolutely the worst predatory practices! I never save my receipts by I did this time because something didn't seem right with the pricing. Upon reviewing, they add on a 20% automatic gratuity which is not ethical/legal with out informing the customer. There is also a processing/card fee of like 3% of the total. I tipped in addition to all of these charges and I almost paid more for charges than actual drinks. I spoke with the owner who assured me he would do the right thing and refund me the money. He went ghost. I am reporting him to the city and the Illinois Bar and Restaurant Association. From the looks of the reviews--a lot of people agree! Worse place in Chicago. Was celebrating my homegirl's bachelorette party. We were looking for a nice club/lounge to attend. The security staff was extremely rude to all of the women in the party and men. Even bystanders on the street were a palled at how the security officers were talking to my friends. Dont bother coming here if you don't know anyone who works here. Security is rude. The host are rude, whoever runs reservations is rude. Bottoms girls get mad if they need to do their job for the regular customers that come in. The young boy who does reservations is the worst, rude and condescending as they come. Big fan of this place! Definitely make an early reservation on nights when they have a live bad. My party and I ended up staying here the entire night with no intention of doing so but the music was gear, the drinks were good and the staff was very friendly. This place is an absolute new favorite of mine! I am not a huge country fan but I came for the drinks and food anyways. Its located in the Gold Coast and to be honest, that neighborhood needed an establishment like this. This isn't your "typical" country bar, it's a country bar that has TONS of flavor. TBH Chicago needed this place for diversity and i am glad it's here. Their drinks were very well balanced and beyond yummy! It is tough to find a bar in the city with well balanced drinks. Its either straight liquor or straight sugar. SO BRAVO on those perfect drinks! The food is to die for! I had the brisket and i think my soul left me when the food was going down. I don't know how long they smoked their brisket but the flavor, tenderness, fat vs meat combo....just do yourself a favor and stop by to experience this yourself. The bar tenders and waitresses are both professional but also so warm and friendly that they make you feel like you are long time friends and management as well as security have done a remarkable job in providing an extremely safe and clean environment. The BBQ is so delicious you would think you were at an award winning pit masters back yard grill. The weekends have a new must go to spot for all things music and dance. The DJ's play the type of music that feed an energy inside that will put a permanent smile on your face and the live performers are so good you would think they should be playing at the UC or Soldier Field. Don't confuse this as merely a "country music bar" this place has something for every nightlife, music, food, and dance loving person living in or visiting the Windy City! read more

I came for Sunday brunch with some friends. This place is definitely fun and a vibe and very cute. They have a good Dj and the bartenders and hostess are really nice. The menu doesn't have too many options. I ordered the avocado toast which was overpriced for one slice and the egg was an additional up charge. However, it was really good! My friend had the french toast and didn't really like it. Didn't have sweetness to it and just tasted like bread and jam with fruit. The Hashbrowns I also felt were over priced, it was 5 dollars for 2 patties. Id come mainly for the mimosa next time because this place is still very fun for brunch. read more

The menu in person is extremely limited compared to what's shown online. Either way idk this place had such a strange vibe and seemed like a place where they have "instagram food and drink" aka the food and drinks look good, but are actually horrible. What a cute spot! Chicago has been needing more country bars! I attended the soft opening of this bar and although they're still working out some kinks, I can tell this place has tons of potential and is going to be great. The drinks come in adorable glasses, with a variety of liqueurs and flavors on the menu. I had the opportunity to try the burger sliders as well as what I believe to be the braised beef sliders. Both were good! Loved the DJs music choices, and the live band was phenomenal. I had a great time dancing with friends and enjoying the country spirit. Our bartender, JD, was great! Super fun guy who knew his stuff behind the bar, even this early on. My only recommendation is including a couple drinks that are a bit less sweet. All the drinks I tried were pretty sugary and I know many people prefer something more citrus or smoke forward. Excited to see this place open officially and flourish! read more

My friends and I went there for brunch on Sunday. If you are planning a nice relaxing brunch this place is NOT for you. The music was so loud you had to scream to talk to people and the lasers constantly shined into your eyes. This was an actual club at 10am. (Should be advertised as one). The chilaquiles were extremely bland and boring. It was chips, salsa and egg with no flavor or spice. The most boring breakfast I've had. My friend got waffles and they looked like waffles taken out of the freezer section at Jewel. Wouldn't recommend going here. Would give 0 stars if I could. Went for Cinco De Mayo. Paid for 8-10 pm bottomless margaritas and tacos. Arrived to restaurant 15 minutes early and wasn't able to get into establishment until 8:30. Was able to get seating, waitress came around with margaritas , "Taco Bar" wasn't as described on eventbrite and wasn't unlimited as described. Margaritas was watered down and tacos was cold as Ice. Asked waitress for fresh hot tacos she said she couldn't get any because it was past 10. Asked to speak to manager and she told me that he stepped outside to smoke. Asked again and she said he didn't want to talk. Upon him finally coming, asked for fresh tacos which came out 15+ minutes later and was cold... Went to restroom and came out to throw up by my table and security had put me in choke hold and threw me out for something i didn't do. Asked why I was thrown out no explanation was given. Scars/Scrapes was given as pictured when thrown out. I felt racially attacked. I will not be coming back to the establishment and my lawyer will be in contact. read more

They bring a modern look to country and have live country music performances in the evenings! I tried many of their specialty cocktails and my favorite was the IYKYK. It includes a secret ingredient / fruit that you can bite into to numb your tongue while enjoying the drink! Besides that, we got to tried their unique fried pickles dipped in their house special sauce. Just looking at their sliders and street tacos is making me hungry again.
