Horrible. IM SO SORRY this is so mean but do NOT come here for nails. Lots of the workers are old and the lady literally could not see what she was doing to my nails and I had to ask her to correct at least 30 times . Polish was so messy and everywhere. I got a simple French tip.... It's so mean but idk if she needs new glasses or what but it was a terrible stressful experience and I felt bad because I constantly had to ask her to fix everything she was doing and she was getting annoyed but tried to act nice. Do NOT come to this place. I should've read the reviews before coming here. Many things went wrong so I left in the middle of it and went to a better place. 1) I was gifted a Groupon (see photo) and the Groupon shows the place as New Image Day Spa. I drove around for a while. I tried calling many times but it took about 20 minutes for someone to answer. I assumed they were busy. When someone answers, they gave me instructions on how to get there. When I mentioned the name, the lady told me that both names are in the group and that I would see it if I looked. She said it rudely. I still haven't found the other name. If you see it, you get 100 points. 2) i went in and it was completely empty except for a lady that was chatting up with who I assume is the boss. I had an appointment at 2 pm. I was not a walk in. The "boss" told me that a nail tech had to take her lunch so i should wait. I said sure. Before going to lunch, she put the water for the pedicure. I thought it was very proactive. I waited 1 hour and saw her come out, go to CVS, come back, clean the area. By minute 30, i took my feet out and rested them on the footrest. My feet were so wrinkly. 3) As I waited for my nail tech, a second nail tech came out and started taking off my gel nail polish. The "boss" let me know that Groupon does not cover taking off gel. Ok whatever. The lady is shaping my nails sooooo slowly. However, she manages to cut me with the nail file as well as with the filing sponge. I let her know and she said sorry but was not careful. See pictures. 4) i asked for a simple design. See pictures. She said that she can't do design, only the other nail tech. So so i was waiting for the other nail tech to come back. 5) after an hour had passed, all I had to show was my cuts and a horrible shape. I let the "boss" know that it had been an hour and she said i should have told her that we were taking off gel, since it takes 30 mins. I have gone to many nail salons. It NEVER takes 30 minutes. She also said I should have said i wanted design from the beginning. I told my tech and the other tech at the beginning. 6) meanwhile, the original tech that put the water is walking around aimlessly. While I am waiting for her to start the pedicure. I let the boss know and she told the slow hand tech, hurry so you can do her feet too. I got up immediately and told her to just keep the Groupon. This whole ordeal was ridiculous. I am getting married this weekend and had saved up the Groupon to feel pampered and relax. Instead, I ended with cuts in my hand and wrinkly fingers. TLDR: they can cut you, take forever, are rude, and not responsible. read more

‼SCAM‼ I drove 45 minutes just to get an acrylic fill using my classpass credits. I had a reservation! When I arrived they informed me that they don't use classpass. They didn't offer me any way to get a refund. Told me that I had to pay another way. I checked their reviews on classpass and saw that this has been happening for over 6 months!!! They either don't care that they are causing clients to waste their money or they are purposely scamming clients to make double the money so they give in and pay anyways!! She is wonderful; meticulous, professional and communicates well with you regarding your appointment. She takes pride in her work and it shows. Love her French manicure and have had many compliments. Came in with an expired Groupon expecting the value of the purchased Groupon to be honored per terms of Groupon and CA state law (not the service itself which is more than the value) and owner refused and said to call Groupon. Assistant manager on floor was completely helpless and just kept saying it was expired even though it very clearly said "the value of this purchase NEVER EXPIRES." BEWARE! I went to this nail salon with a coupon purchased from Groupon for 2 gel manicures, for myself and my daughter. The owner redeemed the Groupon and told me that in order to redeem them, I had to purchase 2 additional gel manicures (4 total) which she would sell as a "deal" for $114. I just went to redeem the first of these, to which the owner said they were only for 2 not 4 manicures, because, per the owner, gel manicures are $49/each. First, $114 is more than $98, so that is false. Second, the website confirms that they charge $35 for gel manicures, as the regular, not "reduced" price. So, the "coupon" I bought from the owner ended up charging me $57 for each gel manicure - $44 MORE than the regular price listed on the website! Outrageous! I wish I could give ZERO stars. The workers are nice, but that can't compensate for being ripped off. read more

I went there 2 times. First time I went the gel nails last me a week. Called I told them and the owner (I think she is) asked me if I was a "peeler" because peelers do that. (Ruined the nails) I went again so they can re do my nails. I had the same lady. (She is super nice) but she doesn't care much about it even tho she says her technic is good. (My nails were uneven) I had to tell her they were because she didn't seem to care or see they were uneven. She did my nails with a different color and I noticed she didn't removed the previous color complete. I didn't say anything else because is pointless and they don't seem to care. I was charged $20 even tho it was their fault. I gave this place 2 chances to do better and same results. Not going back of course and I hope whoever reads this and decides to go. Just recently moved around this neighborhood, and was looking for a new mani pedi go to, found this gem on Groupon. My tip is to call them first to get an appointment. I Arrived 6 mins late, I waited around 15 mins. But it's okay I'm not in a rush. I waited in the massage chair while soaking my feet, It's not pretty busy maybe they only accept appointments, not walk in. Everyone was nice and friendly especially "Misha/or Lisa" ( I forgot her name I'm sorry, but) she was really sweet and pleasant to talk to. Didn't know they also offer wax/threading for eyebrows so I did mine there too. I'll be coming back for facial next to try. I would definitely recommend and come back! read more

My friend and I bought the groupon and booked an appointment by text. We arrive at our appointment time but the front desk lady asks if we have the groupon, to which we respond "yes". Then she proceeds to tell us that there are no technicians available, even though we made an appointment! Showed her our text messages and all but she said they don't have availability. She then says we can get our nails done without using our groupon because apparently they have availability for non-grouponers. ?!??! There was nothing on the groupon deal that stated that this was for 1 particular technician. And the fact that they have availability for non groupon is appalling. You buy the Groupons to try the business, you book the service, and then told to leave because it's a certain girl that will do that service or another girl doing another service. I wanted to like this place but nope. It's nice looking and clean and I like the way you pick your polish color but it ends there. My first visit was with a Groupon which she only accepts on Saturday, not convenient but I made it over there. The lady who did my mani was Kim and I really liked her. Tammy did my pedi, she seemed nice too. While on my first visit there was some drama with an employee and a customer got so tired of waiting she just walked out. On my second visit, well what would have been a second, they didn't have enough staff to help me so I left. On my last visit, we had to wait longer than should have and the staff continually apologized, which we were okay because my friend and I was just talking but would have been nice to be soaking my feet while waiting but I guess it didn't cross their mind. My friend wanted a gel pedi and the lady did regular so we had to wait while she redid it and I got regular polish pedi. I know reviews aren't good and there is a reason why. I wanted to try silk nails from damage and I saw them in class pass. So I booked but when I walked in they said no "they are a pain in the butt", no longer do them or ClassPass. I pulled up the website and it also has service listed. So they need to update both. Clean with convenient parking next to Ross, CVS, donut shop and Mexican food. nail polish last long. That said I wish to say it would be perfect if staff speaks in English when communicating with each other. I would like to say at the end of the day this is my fault. I am very submissive when it comes to services like this and I do not have it in me to complain. I even tipped a decent amount because it is the holiday's and I know nail technicians rely on tips. As soon as I was in my car though and looked them over more thoroughly, I was shocked at how truly bad it was. Again, no guts to go back in and say anything, but I thought i would post a review for people like me who may be to afraid to complain. Don't take your chances with this place unless you're willing to make them redo it. I did show her a picture beforehand, referenced it a couple times during, and asked for a few changes until I got to the point where I knew it was ask her to take it all off or just accept my fate. When I called to schedule the manicure I was told that "only one lady provides the Groupon manicures and only on Saturdays" WHAT? Fine. So I scheduled for noon Saturday. After working Saturday morning till 1130 I drove to the address provided on the Groupon. There was no such address in Maps and New Image was on Hawthorne. So I had to call the salon to ask the name and address of where I was going. A VERY RUDE sassy-mouthed woman then told me that she called me twice this morning on my cell and because I hadn't called her back she gave it to someone else. SERIOUSLY?? I had one missed call. NO message NOR did she text me. How the hell would anyone know to call this crazy B back to confirm an appointment? Completely moronic !! Don't they offer customer service training anymore? I'm not sure how to describe it. The owner was super nice and sweet and her services were amazing. Hey eyebrow girl and lash girl was horrible. She doesn't speak English and her work is terrible. I had to go twice to get my eyebrows fixed. She kept asking if I was gonna pay and the owner kept telling her I already did. She didn't remember me and I had been there 3 weeks before. That is horrible customer service. The eyelashes she put gunks of glue on it where it hurt to blink. They fell off days after. I came back to get them fixed and it was the same thing. I contacted the owner. She will not talk to you over the phone she will only text you. So it was hard. My eyebrows were not matching and missing spots. It was like two diff shapes. She refused to do anything about it or a refund on my eyelashes. She pointed fingers she got very defensive. She kept trying to push saying that they looked great when they're horrible and embarrassing. Talking to her was like fighting with a kid. I have proof of the nasty text messages. Then I told her I would leave reviews and she blocked me. Don't ever come here. It is clean but they're work is horrible.
