Best pizza in town this is the I.G.Gold Mine come and try it guaranteed to be a winner come support local business. Ivan rocks this place so delicious and they have Kabru beer and Double Goat from Amador brewing Co. Gotta try them or your missing out!!

Chicken leg drum wings were delicious

Great savory pizza and wings! The drum stick were delicious and falling off the bone! Tasty! The salad was ok because I really don't like tomatoes on my Caesar salad, and the dressing wasn't as good as I would like it to be, but it was OK. Service was great and cook was awesome! We will return

Not Wings. Buffalo Drumsticks! And why they were $15.50

Stopped by to try this pizza and pick it up as we reviewed Yelp and there was so many positive reviews, so we had to try it. So my first impression is that this pizza has some great flavor and well made and the crust was excellent. I guess I didn't read but these aren't wings, they are actual drumsticks and why they cost $15.50 for 7 drumsticks. Wow! Overall they had good flavor as well. The customer was excellent despite us showing up 45 minutes before they closed. They lady and gentleman making the pizza was nice and treated us well. Overall the ambiance is small town pizza joint with excellent service and overall good pizza. The only negative I would say was the prices. Look I don't mind paying for something of quality, but I also think the price should be of equal value to the taste and quality. I have travelled across the US and tasted some great pizza but I don't know they're too many at this price. We got a medium with pepperoni and mushroom and the small Caesar salad and the drumsticks and it was over $51.00 of which the pizza was $25.00 for 1 medium pizza. Overall, I would buy the pizza again, but would have to be when I want something different that my typical go to pizza joints. There are equally good pizza places for lesser costs and reason for my 4 stars. It is good pizza but I somewhat think twice paying over $25.00 just for one medium pizza. If price is not a concern for you definitely a great choice for pizza!

The food is outstanding, but what really sets them apart is the level of service. Honestly some of the best I have experienced anywhere. I walked in about 20 minutes before closing, which most places would not be thrilled about, and they welcomed me without hesitation. No attitude, no rushing, just genuine hospitality. While I was waiting for my pizza, someone, possibly the owner, came over and told me they had accidentally dropped my pizza in the oven and it did not look great. He said there was nothing wrong with it, but because of how it looked, they were going to give it to me for free on top of the new pizza they were making. That alone says everything about their standards and integrity. It did not stop there. I had also grabbed the last piece of tiramisu, and before I left, he handed me a coupon for a free tiramisu next time. That is not normal service. That is above and beyond. The pizza itself was incredible. Unique combinations, bold flavors, and clearly made with care. The tiramisu was just as good. Rich, balanced, and the perfect finish. This place is the real deal. Great people, amazing food, and a level of customer service you just do not see anymore. Must stop if you are passing through El Dorado.

We would have been far better off finding a Pizza Hut or just going home and eating leftovers. One of the soggiest, sparsely topped, most expensive pizzas I've ever eaten. Look, pizza crust has one basic role, serve the sauce and toppings to your mouth. Their crust was so soggy it stuck to the plates. We ordered the Carnivore pizza (no 1/2 and 1/2 orders allowed!) and for $26, this medium sized pizza had very little meat. The order taker was glib and the pizza took a long time to come out. Just an awful experience.

As well as reading Yelp reviews. Finding myself in Cameron Park with food on my mind, I thought of Wally's. Why not! My GF made an exit off Highway 50 and voilà, there it was a block down the street. Not the small, intimate pizza place I expected. I don't even know where that thought came from. It is huge... really huge! The second we walked through the door, it was obvious everyone was having fun. Nice! We were greeted immediately and given our choice of where was left to sit. It was packed. We chose a cool table for two slightly elevated facing the entire 2/3 front of the restaurant (where we had entered.). And we immediately noticed all the tvs positioned on the perimeter of the walls interior. It was evening and lights were dimmed perfectly. Whatta great view of "everything, everyone and everywhere". Sweet waitperson arrives immediately and takes drink orders. I love a business that takes your alcohol needs seriously!:) We ordered a BBQ chicken pizza. (A perfect recreation of my favorite pizza from Base Camp Pizza in Tahoe... read my review LOL.) Oh my... so much to choose from! Check out my menu pics! The food/wine was a 10! I had a great pinot. So a big high five from me. The pizza was phenomenal and piece by piece it disappeared during our conversation and frivolity. Four thumbs up! Oh... there's more. They do weekend breakfast and brunch! I want that. Check out that menu photo too. So... in conclusion I highly recommend Wallys Pizza Bar for a good time. The bar, btw, was located behind us so not in our view. But it was packed. And with their own set of big screens! Family friendly and big parking lot. Trust me... I will be back. Thanks, Chef!

Price was $29.99 per person. Had many great dishes.. their special item today was fresh made Pho. It was actually decent coming from a non Vietnamese establishment. Good job. Windows that is huge and has views of gorgeous mountains and trees! I wasn't sure what I wanted to eat so I had a little of most of everything. OK, there's still an overabundance of food and choice but this time everything looked very unappealing, and like it sat out for way too long. You should read my other previous reviews for comparison. This time I looked over all the offerings first, from one end to the other of the buffer counters. Nothing stood out as a 'wow'. As a matter of fact I had a hard time finding anything appealing. Hmmmm. After a good search I did finally find some veggies- zucchini. It turned out to be way over cooked, limp and also apparently sitting out for way too long. My wee bit of hope was nixed. In retrospect I should have tried the collard greens with ham. The only thing looking somewhat decent were rice dishes and actually they were OK. However when I got some Asian stir fry to go along with it the saltiness made it nearly inedible. The salt level killed all the flavor. The one Asian bun I chose was hard as a rock and very dry. I got a piece of kielbasa at the carvery station. The guy carving was rather abrupt and seemed very disinterested in doing the job. Oh well. The kilbasa was just OK. Grabbing a rib I thought I may have found something worthwhile. Yes, somewhat. Once I got past the fat and grizzle the meat was indeed good. The jalapeno cornbread looked appealing, although presented in chunks way too large that were falling apart in the tray. The piece I had was actually tasty and not greasy unlike my last time getting it. Overall the food was lukewarm at best. The soft serve ice cream was good with lots of topping options, plus I had a small square of a chocolate brownie that was delicious, moist and full of chocolate. My four dining partners couldn't eat more than a small plate and left half of what they got, quite dissatisfied. It's really unfortunate. On top of it the service was nearly non existent. Clearing plates or whatever just never happened. Oh well. I gave it two stars as the price point is truly good and perhaps it's more my picky pallet and expectations than that of others who come here. There was a consensus among us that perhaps eating at the other restaurants might be a better option.
