Since then the roof has held up great! Last week I started seeing a leak on the outside of my house. I called them up and the owner sent someone out the same day just to rule anything out. When they came out we both agreed that it didn't look like there was anything wrong with the roof, but that didn't stop them for doing their best to stop it from leaking they added some caulking around some holes in the stucco and masonry and fixed up some of the flashing near the leak. After that, it was still leaking, but Brad, the owner, was kind enough to come out again, even though it had NOTHING to do with the roof just to double-check on me and make sure that I was doing well. At the end of the day, they took off a side gutter and found a hole in the wall that the builders had left from when the house was built. Again, STILL not roof related, but they treated me like family and helped me as if it were and fixed it up for me. Literally cannot say enough good things about WDR! I've never found a company that is this helpful or this responsive.

I hired All Nation Restoration for remediation work in my home. During the project, one of their…read moretechnicians used bleach in a carpeted area without putting down plastic, tarps, or other protective floor covering. This resulted in permanent bleach damage in multiple areas of my high-quality, continuously installed Berber carpet, including highly visible areas in the middle of the room. What disappointed me most was not simply that damage occurred, but how All Nation handled it afterward. The company initially characterized the damage as something that can occur during remediation work despite taking precautions. In my case, there was no floor protection in the affected area. Their project manager came to my home shortly after I discovered the damage and saw the area firsthand. All Nation's own carpet professional subsequently advised in writing that repairs could look good but "possibly not perfect" and that replacement would be the alternative because a matching carpet was unlikely to be available. My independent carpet professional reached the same conclusion and recommended replacement. In an effort to compromise, I obtained a $2,400 estimate to replace only the affected common areas rather than the continuous carpet installation throughout my entire second floor. All Nation had offered a $1,000 credit, so I asked them to contribute an additional $1,400 toward this solution. They declined, characterizing replacement as my "preference." Yes, I do prefer my home to be returned to me in the condition in which they found it. I ultimately attempted the less expensive repair option using my own carpet professional. Unfortunately, the result confirmed what both carpet professionals had predicted: the repaired area remains visibly distinguishable from the surrounding Berber carpet. I am now left with a permanent, noticeable flaw in a high-traffic area of what had previously been a uniform, continuous carpet installation. My concern was never that I wanted a discount or that I was trying not to pay them (I have since made final payment). My concern was that the damage occurred during work performed without floor protection and that All Nation treated offering a credit and the ability to patch the carpet as sufficient, regardless of whether the repair actually restored it to its prior condition. I believe a restoration company should take reasonable precautions to protect a customer's property and, when preventable damage occurs, work toward a solution that reasonably restores the property to its prior condition. Unfortunately, that was not my experience, and it is the reason for my rating.

TLDR: Though we had no issue with the quality of Austin Flood & Fire's work, we had multiple…read moreegregious billing issues, to the point that it's difficult to believe they weren't intentionally trying to overcharge us. 1. Austin Flood & Fire responded to our call on a Wednesday night to begin drying our house out after a flood. On Thursday morning, Alex Zimmer put together a complete quote for the full remediation. We found the quote high, and got a second quote from another provider. On Friday morning, we called Alex to let him know that we were going with the other company because of cost (paying out of pocket). Alex stated that the other company was not going to be as thorough, and convinced us to reconsider, offering to work on getting his quote down. He met us in the middle and offered to start the next day (Saturday). We agreed to go with AF&F and asked for the updated quote in writing. We repeatedly called and texted Alex throughout the day on Friday for the updated quote, which he assured he would get to us. Eventually, it was close of business on Friday and we had to cancel our other company (slated for Monday). Finally, AF&F sent the updated quote at 8 pm on Friday, for only $1k less than the original quote and roughly $5k more than the price discussed. Alex admitted this was AF&F's mistake, but was unwilling to honor our verbal agreement. Considering it was now Friday night and we were urgently seeking to remediate, we felt trapped and chose to go with AF&F and hope for the best. We did ask to speak to the owner, Robin, before we proceeded, who assured us they would do everything to keep the costs down, and that the quote was the "not to exceed" number and may be less. We felt somewhat better and chalked it up to a miscommunication. 2. A few days later, we received an invoice for 20% of the total quote. We had already paid a deposit on Wednesday which was not reflected in any of our new documents. We contacted AF&F to remind them of this, and at first, our project manager, Danielle, said it would be taken off "at the end" without further explanation. Given the upfront billing issue, we did not trust that this would occur. They did eventually make this right, but it felt like clear dishonesty and/or incompetence to have two billing issues at the outset. 3. As the work started in earnest, the team was prompt and did a good job. The only issue, which we flagged repeatedly to Danielle, was that certain pieces of equipment were sitting unused. She reassured us that we would only be billed for equipment used. Because the dry out hadn't taken as much equipment or as many days as the original estimate, we expected our final invoice could be less than the "not to exceed" number. Imagine our surprise when the total invoice was $700 over the "not to exceed" number! We did not approve any work outside the original scope, nor did they even seem to notice they went above the "not to exceed" number. They simply offered us a 5% "prompt payment" discount if we paid within 48 hours. We reviewed the invoice and quickly realized that they had cited 44 pieces of equipment in our 900 square foot home. This was a clear overbilling, which we pointed out. Both Danielle and Robin immediately replied to say that we were misreading the invoice and/or were incapable of doing basic arithmetic. We highlighted a specific room to point out discrepancies, and they went silent for a full day. We received an updated quote for a decreased price on Thursday morning, with a reminder of the "prompt payment" discount (now down to 24 hours with no adjustment for their mistake). Danielle admitted they had double charged us for equipment in several rooms and sent photo evidence, which we reviewed only to find additional errors. We asked for the supervisor hours to be removed as well, considering it was not included on the original estimate and we had to spend hours of our own correcting errors. We came to an agreement and paid the rest of the invoice in full by Friday. We never heard another word from Robin about any of this. Overall, we had no issue with the quality of their work. Their on-site crew were helpful and polite. However, these issues suggest incompetence or intentional overbilling. They take advantage of the fact that they're providing urgent services to people in difficult circumstances, using scare tactics and time pressure to sell. We would not recommend them under any circumstances.

I can't say enough about the professionalism and courtesy of Carlos and his crew. A special shout out to Laro. He has extraordinary plumbing and electrical skills. He is also able to perform all the other tasks that were involved with the repair of my home. Raphael, sorry there were SO MANY boxes to pack. You are a trooper! It was easy to stay in contact with Carlos and the attention to detail that his crew exhibited is greatly appreciated. They completed all the tasks related to the repair of my home (except countertop installation) as well as a few extras. One of the extras was removing the nasty popcorn ceiling. It looks so nice and clean now. We also had a dimmer switch installed and undercabinet lighting and a new "spotlight" type fixture over the sink. I think the pictures will speak for themselves. My home was built at the end of 2023 and was lived in for only one year and the left vacant for one year. There is no way this oven cannot be cleaned and now I will have to do it myself once I move into the house, after I finish packing and moving. I understand maybe accidentally overlooking one or two things. But this was beyond ridiculous. I shouldn't have to babysit people to do their jobs correctly. All seemed to go well initially the carpets were ordered and fitted, everything seemed fine. Then I started to get emails saying the invoice was outstanding and I was due money. This was a problem on so many levels but the main one was I did not pay for the carpets and could not go back to the person whose card was used to get proof of payment. What really annoyed me was the lack of remorse shown by the firm, no apologetic emails, just, you are due us money , pay now threats. When I asked the perpetrator of the emails to escalate the matter I got push back! Eventually the matter was escalated and after some email exchanges things went quiet for a few months, I wrongly assumed that Flooring Warehouse has resolved the matter internally or used common sense not to pursue the sum outstanding ..... then threats started again, this time of legal action. Talking to other business owners they said they would have owned the mistake and written off the sum outstanding (50% was paid upfront). Not with this lot, they seem to have little regard for their reputation or the inconvenience and stress caused to the buyer as a result of their own incompetence. Buyer beware, use someone who values their clients and puts the customer above their bottom line. The customer, after all, is always right.

This was my first major remodel, so I don't really have anything to compare with. The nits I experienced were pretty minor and probably typical for a job this scale. I found Jose thru Yelp after verifying his other reviews were from real people and not AI generated. I had initially gotten quotes from several of the bathroom remodelers that advertise on TV and experienced sticker shock. One of them turned out to do only the wet area - I would have had to get someone else for the floors, cabinets, painting, etc. Their quote for just the shower area ended up being about what I paid Jose for the entire job. Another of the TV advertisers could do everything I wanted, but their quote was almost 3x what Jose quoted! Yes, they could do it in 2-3 days, but is that worth 3x the cost? One of the first nits I experienced was that Jose didn't tell me the whole master bedroom would be sealed off during the project. Not that big a deal, but I wish I'd known that in advance. They got the demo completed the first day. One of the more time-consuming parts was removing the old wallpaper, which seemed to take about 2 days (the old walls were completely papered). His crew foreman Javier is a master craftsman. I learned pretty quickly to trust his experience. When I had initially seen the tile backer boards installed for the shower, I thought they had forgotten the niche shelf I'd requested. He explained that goes in last. One of the other nits I experienced was that I had to buy a lot of the supplies myself. I would have much preferred just pointing to stuff in a catalog, and Jose go buy them. The biggest problem with that was the grout. I trusted the tile shop's recommendation on grout, and when I delivered it to Javier, he said that stuff is no good. He explained that since it has silicone, it constantly outgasses and leaves a film on the tile. I went online and saw some other reviews with the same comments, so that reinforced my decision to trust what he was doing. Similar experience with the safety grab bars. I just bought some from Amazon, which came with cheap nylon screw locks. Seemed pretty flimsy should you have to actually use them to prevent a fall. Javier was able to use drywall anchors to securely lock them in place. The last nit was the cabinet installation. They were in such a rush to finish the cabinets that the toilet hadn't even been installed. Since I switched to an elongated ADA style toilet, it turned out the medicine cabinet above the toilet could no longer be reached at the old one's height. They had to come back and lower it 4 inches. Again, an easy correction, but would have been unnecessary if they had put the new toilet in first. Jose's crew finished up in 2 weeks, but it was another week before the glass shower doors and mirror showed up to be installed. Anyway, they finally went in today, and I am very happy with the end results. My neighbor had his bath redone last year, and comparing Jose's work to my neighbor's handyman, Jose is miles ahead. I finally know what "Schluter" is. My neighbor doesn't have it, so there are sharp tile edges everywhere! Jose Robles Remodeling will definitely be in the running to do my other 2 bathrooms.

When I called to make an appointment for a carpet and grout cleaning I spoke with the office manager. She was great. So helpful and patient scheduling the appointment around several other things we had going on at the time. When Marcus came out he was so nice. Explained the process from beginning to end. We have 3 dogs and the pet treatment made everything fresh again. I also appreciated that he was willing to go under and move what furniture he could (if it would not ruin the furniture). The grout cleaning was amazing! Marcus also pointed out that it needed to be sealed. He could do a treatment or we could do ourselves. He even went as far as to point out the damage that regular floor cleaners can do to grout and recommend a cleaner (very inexpensive) that we could get at the store that will not damage grout in the future. Marcus and his team are awesome! They showed up on time and offered a great price on all the services we had done. We are listing our house and had the carpets cleaned, tile re-grouted, windows cleaned and house cleaned. Our house has never looked so good, our agent thought that we got new carpets and our tile looks brand new all through the house. The team is so friendly and professional. I feel this is long over due , but back in July I had a leak in my sink while out on vacation , crazy part was that I was suppose to have my carpets & tile cleaned that day & because of that could not , LUCKILY Steamdoc is also apart if BIGGUYS which turned out they did water / mold restoration as well ! Not only did it save me time but because they already knew I was getting ALOT of stuff cleaned but they also saved me some BIG $$ ! very disappointed ...The guy was nice but does not focused on quality when he sprayed water all over my speakers I asked him to stop. To much in a rush ..I asked about how long carpets would be damp and they are still wet ? Nice guy poor quality... my fault the company I always use was to busy the day I needed and this guy was available . next time I will plan ahead.I will try to get these guys to fix my carpet but I keep just getting voice mail.. We really needed a bunch of work done on our house after being on vacation for a while, we hired them for our driveway and kitchen. Didnt really expect much but i was blown away after seeing the end result. I believe junior was one who was on the job. He was very helpful and did an amazing job on the tile in our kitchen. This is the best carpet/tile cleaning company in Central Texas. Try their tile cleaning service. We had dark grout between the floor tile and tried everything to clean it. Marcus, the owver of Steam Doc, cleaned the tile personally and sealed it. What an incredible difference. You need to do this! Prices are very, very reasonable. On 9 Oct 2020, Steam Doc specifically Andrew provided carpet steam cleaning for our home relevant to four rooms. Andrew was professional, courteous and meticulous. His work ethic was excellent and my only suggestion would be that Steam Doc provide booties for their employees instead of tracking potential dirt etc with their shoes. A Big Guys HVAC duct remediation team lead by James Morrow did a great job cleaning out a lot of the mold and dirt from our two-unit HVAC system. They also were very customer oriented and James took the time to explain their process and gave us resolution alternatives from which to choose.
