We recently moved to a temporary office just down the street from Goldberg's Bagels. Goldberg's Bagels is a small shop with limited seating for maybe 6-10 people. Their primary business is take out I would assume On a cold December day I was in desperate need of a breakfast sandwich to start my day and get me into lunch. I decided to give Goldberg's a try. I ordered the BOBO on an everything bagel. This is basically a Bacon, Egg and Cheese but with hash browns. I never had hash browns on a breakfast sandwich, but it was actually pretty darn tasty. The everything bagel was very good also, and crispy yet soft. This was a very big and filling sandwich. Goldberg's has a good amount of coffee options at their self serve along the wall. They also have some home made bake goods and spreads which I didn't try. I hope to try these on my next visit. There is whole fridge full of juices and other beverages. The staff was friendly and polite. My wait time for my order was not long and I chose to eat in. I was the only customer dining in that morning. I will definitely be back again soon and explore some other items. When it is cold a good breakfast sandwich is alway on my radar for comfort food. 3.5-4 Yelp Stars read more

Coming from north Jersey this is the only good bagel place in this area and I've tried ALL of the recommended spots. NO other bagel place compares to these bagels. They're fluffy, soft, have that semi crunchy outside. Best choice!! read more

Food was awful and uneditable given the massive egg shells left in the eggs! It's almost like the chef was getting paid on how many shells were left in the egg. The place was clean and I was helped right away. Unfortunately, I won't be back since I can't trust them to cook the food correctly, which is a shame since it's on my way to work. read more

This is my go to place for bagels. They're all tasty, but I particularly like the savory ones. I order a dozen bagels when I visit because I live nearly 8 miles away. I haven't tried the sandwiches or spreads. The majority of the staff is polite and friendly. Only once did a woman serve me who was downright rude. I was waiting for my order and sat down on the ledge near the window. She shouted at me to not sit there, so I went outside to wait. The store is clean. read more

I finally found a bagel shop that offers bagels comparable to the ones you find in North Jersey! They have a nice flavorful chewy crust and soft moist interior that is perfect on its own or a great vehicle for any filling. Best bagel place I have found in south jersey. The staff is so sweet and family oriented and they make a perfect breakfast sandwich. It's a clean and well maintained shop with really great coffee iced and hot. They have tables for dining in and a whole fridge full of juices and other healthy beverages. I am a pig and go here a lot so I have tried pretty much everything. Whether it's their homemade cream cheese various flavors, a bacon egg and cheese, or adding a hash brown in the middle is epic. Price was fair. We both thought the sandwhiches were okay. I dont have anything negative to say, there was just Nothing special about this place. So i was dissapointed. This falls under the meh category. I got a baker's dozen. The bagels are soft inside either a bit of a crunch on the outside. A bit chewy. Overall, unremarkable. The toppings are generous and in both side which is mostly a bad idea. The salt bagel was inedible even after brushing off extra salt. The poppyseed was a bit bitter as the excessive amount of seed wasn't offset by the dough. The dough didn't have much flavor to it. I'm not sure what to make of this place. They put in the effort and have a lot of the pieces but just aren't there yet. It's kind of a not worth the drive but better than ShopRite place. read more

Goldberg's Bagels in Evesham, NJ, is a small shop with a couple of tables, but is primarily for take out of their well made bagels. I found the rounders a bit undersized and light on toppings (particularly the roasted onion flakes), but with the right texture and taste. Firm outside and soft inside with a mild malt flavor backing up the hint of onion. The best part, however, was the veggie cream cheese spread generously between the halves of sliced bagel. Rather than whipped into a homogeneous mix, much of the red pepper and green onion were left in small chunks so that while eating, the actual crunch and mini burst of pepper and onion became distinct sensations. Loved it! Plenty of coffee options at their self serve along the wall. The House Blend was strong and carried well as I sipped and drove. Staff was friendly and efficient and happily answered my questions about their operation and history. I had them bag 4 for takehome, and had the first of those this morning. It toasted up well as an adjunct to my oatmeal. Lots of natural light through the front plate glass, even on a rainy day. read more

Delicious bagels! Best we have found in south jersey and consistently good. Staff is great as well.

We picked up two sesame bagels today around 10:00am, assuming we'd get the leftovers from the breakfast rush. These were fresh and hot, right out of the oven. They were still warm enough to easily melt butter when I got them home, and I didn't even need or want to toast them. I realize that NYC is the home of the bagel, but this was one of the softest and fluffiest bagels I've ever had. I will definitely be heading back there more often! read more

I was going to avoid Goldberg's Bagels simply because they have 3.3 stars (as of this writing) on Yelp. But, it was 7:30 AM on New Year's Day, no other bagel shop in the area was opened, and I had people arriving in 90 minutes expecting brunch at my house. So I am thinking, let me give this place a try...the bagels have to be better than those in a supermarket. Well I was blown away! Goldberg's was buzzing with activity - workers making bagels and customers queuing up for their purchase. The bagels were 5 stars - well made with perfect texture and taste! As an implant from North Jersey I can tell you these are the first bagels I've had since living down here that hit the spot and I have tried pretty much every local bagel spot including the one previously in this location, all of which leave something to be desired.
