I wish I had taken pictures but I really wasn't thinking I was going to write this at the time. It…read morewas only after the whole meal was over, and realizing that it was utterly awful that I felt directed to share my experience. My boyfriend and I sat in the bar area for a quick lunch on Friday. It was busy but not overly so. I got a drink that was decent. The service was also good but that's where the positives end. For a starter we tried the Hamachi Crudo. What came to the table was far from acceptable. Large hunks of tuna, some pieces with the white part of the skin still attached. It just looked botched. Bloodline and different sized pieces. You couldn't chew the white part so we had to cut it off. Then when we tried to eat it, it was full of pin bones. We picked out 4 pieces with bone. No real sauce on the plate. No flavor other than the chilis that were placed on top. One of the worst things I've ever been served. When our entrees came out first off, the French fries that we paid extra for were spare. My chicken avocado wrap tasted like nothing. It didn't have much chicken, I didn't notice any of the cheese or avocado ranch that was supposed to be on it. It was full of shredded lettuce and diced tomatoes. My BF said his turkey sandwich had no taste either and he wasn't sure it had what it said it should have on it. Very little turkey, undercooked, limp bacon and bread he said that was stale. Walking away we were just shocked. A bad course is one thing but every dish was just abysmal. You know it's bad when the people that were dining next to you grab you outside to see if your meal was as bad as theirs. I know, I should have shared by displeasure with staff but I'm so uncomfortable doing that. I don't need places to be perfect, I understand businesses have off days but this was a train off it's tracks kinda meal. I really hope Braddocks turns this around. But we will not be back.

The only good thing about dinner last night was the espresso martini flight and the service. Both…read morewere excellent. We ordered the tuna appetizer. We got something that resembled tuna. We took a bite and it was absolutely disgusting. I had to force myself to swallow the piece I had. When we told the server that we were not going to eat it (the taste and consistency were AWFUL), we were told we were given the wrong appetizer. It was the crudo, which apparently was in the tuna family? Then they brought the right appetizer. I couldn't tell you if the tuna was okay because I couldn't even eat it after the other fish almost made me sick at the table. The avocado that came with the tuna was fresh but not seasoned and had no flavor. Both myself and my dinner partner had the same reaction to the crudo. We shared the short ribs and they were just blah. Too salty and dry. The potatoes were just not good. A picture of the short ribs are below. Funny thing is we stopped coming here because we had a bad meal but lots of posts lately had food that looked good. Way too expensive for the food to be that bad. Maybe the sandwiches are better.

The sauce was incredible--you'll want every last drop. Absolutely standout dish. We also had the shrimp tacos, which were just as delicious--fresh, flavorful, and perfectly done. Set in the center of a quiet shopping center, I HAD to post this review because I need people to know this exists. While I was expecting typical guacamole, tacos, chimichangas, and burritos, this was NOT that. The menu gives off an upscale Mexican vibe that is completely unexpected. The dining area is much larger than we realized upon entering the restaurant. We were given homemade chips with salsa and salsa verde. We started with the queso with chorizo. It arrived in a little skillet with soft tortillas for dipping. The dip was basically all cheese and chorizo. It needed to be lifted or pinched into the tortilla and was not dippable. I wasn't a huge fan of this, but this was the only thing I didn't love. I then did the roasted beets with cream cheese, avocado, pistachio, jalapeños, and fig reduction. This was out of this world with fresh ingredients and an amazing blend of flavors. For my entree I did the Pollo Poblano which was thinly sliced chicken breasts with roasted poblano peppers, cheese, crab, and a tequila cream sauce. It didn't come with any sides so I did the rice and beans. The rice was creamy and had bits of corn and herbs. It was almost like a risotto. The refried beans were black beans rather than your typical pinto beans. My bff had the veal enchiladas and said they were okay, but I didn't try them to give a full synopsis. We were too full to do dessert, but I had this chicken 4 days ago and I am still fantasizing about it. I need to go back. Definitely check this place out!

WOW!!! Two Fish is an upscale and masterful culinary experience that should be on every local…read morefoodie's / seafood aficionado's bucket list. We've been talking about Two Fish now for a little over a year and just never put forth the effort to get reservations. It's small inside with only 18 seats and reservations are tough to come by. Luckily for us we stumbled across reservations mid-month as they had a cancellation and were blown away. We arrived 10 minutes prior to our reservation and were greeted by Felice, our server for the evening, who seated us immediately. She was incredibly kind and personable. She had a great sense of humor and a charming personality. She was passionate about her job, her customer's experience, and explaining each and every course she brought to the table. If you didn't already know, Two Fish went from their a la carte menu to a constantly changing tasting menu for $100/person. They can accommodate parties from 2-6 people and are BYOB (hence the name). We were started with a slice of bread served with house-made chimichurri. Our dinner was 6 courses with the option to add on a 7th course for an extra charge (which we did). Each course was just as good as the last and we're still debating which course was our favorite. Course #1: Hamachi Crudo. Super fresh yellowtail topped with chiles, peanuts, and scallions in a ponzu sauce. I love sushi and sashimi and this was right up there with the best I've ever had. Course #2: Orecchiette topped with lump crab. Served with a creamy pesto-like pistou and topped with buttered breadcrumbs which added great texture. Course #3: Spanish Octopus. Cooked perfectly with a beautiful crisp crust and a firm yet tender chew. It was served with potato salad and pickled cabbage. Course #4: Louisiana Redfish served over Sofrito rice and salsa verde. The fish was firm, flakey, and had a great crust. Course #5: King Salmon served over red beet quinoa and topped with cucumber dill salad. I don't even really enjoy salmon but overall flavor of this dish put this one high up on my list for the night. Course #6: Filet served with mushrooms, caramelized onions, and Two Fish steak sauce. The most tender and flavorful piece of filet I've ever had. I enjoy filet, but I'm a ribeye guy. This dish was mind-blowing. We are so happy we decided to add on this optional course. Course #7: Banana Cake served with dark chocolate cremeux and a salted caramel sauce. I'm not much of a dessert person but my fiancé LOVED it (as we did everything we were served). Two Fish exceeded our expectations and then some. Experiences like these are hard to come by and we're so lucky we have a restaurant like this so close. The service was welcoming and elevated the experience that much more. The presentation of each plate was stunning. The unique ingredients and flawless marriage of flavors made every single bite heavenly. We already called to hopefully get our next reservations and are more excited now for our next visit knowing how great of an experience this ended up being.

The parking lot was PACKED and it took a bit to find a spot. We were told there would be a 30 minute wait, which was significantly less than I thought considering they do not take reservations for parties less than 6. We were actually sat in 15 minutes and our server brought us waters and Arnold palmers while we perused the menu and specials. After placing our order, a food runner brought us buttery warm garlic rolls and a different style of crusty bread as well. We decided to start with the arancini ( Italian rice balls) which came with four huge rice balls stuffed with a ground beef bolognese style and served with marinara. Our house salads came with a thousand island style dressing and consisted of chopped romaine, grape tomatoes, and cucumbers. Very basic but the dressing seemed like it could be made in house. For our entrees, I did the limoncello chicken and my best friend did the paparadelle with lobster. Mine had the most decadent lemon cream sauce bathing several chicken cutlets covered in crab meat with melted cheese and a huge mound of capellini. His was covered in chunks of lobster claw meat, mushrooms, prosciutto, and peas with a sherry blush sauce. Both entrees were huge and we took more than half home but everything was delicious. For dessert we opted to share the tiramisu since it's made in house. It had a thin layer of chocolate on top, which made for the most delicious mocha flavor. Our server was wonderful, the place was packed with people celebrating birthdays and everyone sang every time another candlelit dessert was paraded through the dining room. The ambience is cozy and comfortable and I can't wait to go back!
