Dad and I were on our way to a father daughter Starbucks study date. Knowing he would want to order a bagel with butter at Starbucks I suggested he instead get it at The Golden Bagel. We hit them around 2:30 or 3 so the options were limited - many of our favorite bagels were sold out. So I explored something new (to me) a potatoe bagel and ask to combine the cream cheese with jelly (why wouldn't you have a combo)?! Dad ordered poppyseed with hummus. While we have a standard biweekly order at a large chain so we can get a desk, we really enjoyed this departure. There are two terrific reasons to get your bagels here: 1. The owner, Frank, explained to me that the bagels are home made - he starts at...yawn...4am!!! Reminds me of the old commercial, time to make the donuts! 2. This is a local business. Frank has owned the business for three years and really enjoys having the store. I'm a huge fan of supporting local businesses. So shake it up, go local and try something handmade -- notice the difference and enjoy!

NEW OWNER!!! I've been coming to Golden Bagel for many years and I'm so happy to see it in great hands with the new owner, Mayzan. He's a very nice, hardworking young man and you can tell he really cares about the details and customer service. I brought my brother visiting from Chicago to try what I think are the best bagels in town and we had a great experience. Mayzan was even kind enough to give us a couple colorful bagels to take home for my brother's kids. Great bagels, great service. We'll definitely be back. Don't forget to drop something in his tip jar. WELL DESERVED!

Custom service was bussin. The owner was such a nice guy he gave us a free chocolate chip bagel with cream cheese that was extraordinarily extravagantly delicious and he was cute so a plus. Made my morning a little more magical. Quality ass bagels too will be back :)

The food is good but the service is very unwelcoming especially the girl at the cashier she barely talks and barely assist with the money exchange, so uncomfortable and the older bald man thinks it's OK for him to approach your children. I had a three-year-old who was touching the sign and he was starting to approach her to tell her to stop and I asked him not to talk to her that he talks to me, you know handling a three and four-year-old can be quite a handful, but with that said both the employees made it quite uncomfortable, which is a shame because they have such a delicious menu I purchased the Thai chicken wrap

I walked up super early on a Sunday morning and the owner was outside sweeping. He was extremely kind and it's clear he takes pride in his business. The bagels were fluffy and delicious and there was a big variety. We came as a big group but the service was fast. The orange juice was amazing too. Highly recommend!

Wonderful bagels! I was in town all the way from Julian, CA for a dr appt and I stopped by for some breakfast with my little. The owner was very kind as soon as he saw my toddler walk in upset. He gave him two licorice candy! The food was a 10/10! The coffee was a 10/10! I got the a chicken pesto sandwhich and my little got the pizza bagel. I purchased a bag of their bagels to take home. The owner also threw in some free cream cheese for our take home bagels. The service was beyond expectations as the owner was extremely generous. The environment felt like a mom and pop shop. We love to support local businesses and will definitely be back again! I never write yelp reviews but I had to give one for this bagel shop one.

This used to be my favorite bagel shop but....they must have changed owners. The bagels were pale, dry, not golden brown and they had no taste. To make matters worse, I paid $22 for a dozen bagels. Seriously, $22.00! Bruegger's bagels are better than these and so much cheaper. Never again.

Gelato: believe it was a coffee one Everything has been freaking delicious, fresh, great portions, definitely a spot I visit once a week lol. The crazy calabrese was a little on the salty side but it was still pretty good. Best sandwich so far has been the spicy sicilian. The market is well sorted with lots of interesting items and fair prices. The only thing is their tall cans of craft beer. A lot of them were old or had no date on the bottom of the can and as someone who works in the beer industry let me tell you. Beer does go bad. Not in a you can't drink it kind of way but flavor declines, especially craft beer. Skunky, taste changes, aroma changes, color changes, it's just not great. I picked up a can that was dated May 2025, for craft that is OLD and not good. Not a problem for your average person but I'm just letting y'all know. Nonetheless this place is delicious, the service is great, fast, friendly. The food is overall good, the market is nice and well sorted. What I don't understand are the comments that say I been here so many times but never left a good review, suddenly they have one bad experience over something like not enough lettuce or they ran out of something and leave a bad review. GTFOH! And no I wasn't paid for this review or know anyone from this business, I just hate what yell has become

They were running two back-to-school sandwich specials with one for $10.99 and another for $16.99. Personally, almost $17-$20 for a sandwich didn't really feel like much of a special. I ordered the: *Jerk Turkey Sandwich: you can choose from white, wheat, sourdough, a roll, or an onion roll for an additional $3. I went with white bread. I was expecting more of a deli-style hoagie or Subway-style sandwich, but it ended up being served on two slices of sandwich bread. It tasted good, but it honestly reminded me of something I could easily make at home. There just wasn't much of a wow factor. The sandwich came with pickle spears and your choice of macaroni salad, potato salad, or another deli side. The side portion was fairly small, a couple of bites worth, but the macaroni salad was great. My total came to nearly $15, which felt pretty expensive for a sandwich on sliced bread and a small side. While I really appreciated the friendly service and enjoyed the food, I didn't think it offered enough value for the price. Overall, it was a decent lunch, but not memorable enough to make me want to return.
