Ok I do not know what's going on with this business but the are definitely not an active business at the brea location that they advertise on here and on Groupon. My experience started off with them calling me to ask if I was going to come to my 11 am appt at 8 in the morning. The call went to voicemail because I was asleep but as soon as I got the message I called them to say I was still coming. When I arrived to the location the building was abandoned so I immediately called the number that called me earlier. They did not answer so I left a message and waited for a call back. While I was waiting to men cleaning the windows of the building came up to my car and asked me if I was waiting for someone. I asked them about the company and asked if they had moved. They said no this space had been vacant for two months. So I decided to call back, when I did the owner answered and said oh you never answered the call so we canceled your appt. I was so pissed at this point! I was like I called you back! Anddddd this building is not even open sooooo wtf! He was like ma'am let me call you back. This fool called back and was like oh the technician is busy now and will need to take you at another time. At this point in livid! Like whhhhereee was I even suppose to go ? It's CLOSED DOWN!! He said that he would have to give me the address to go to Bottom line is don't buy this Groupon it's a scam I don't really know what they are doing over there but something is not right. I have actually gone to this location a while back and my experience was fine no issues at all but they need to be upfront with their business practices/ location. Came in today for eyelash extensions on the whim and they took me which wad awesome. This place is very pretty inside . All white decor with gold and glitz. I saw Mary who did a fabulous job on my full set of classic eyelash extensions. She did them very natural looking. She also cleaned up my eyebrows with a quick threading. she was also very friendly. Lastly, this place is a full service salon. They do waxing, facials etc, hair, nails , lashes , threading...and it's all pretty reasonably priced. Please read the reviews prior to going here. This place should def be avoided. My first time I visited I got lashes and I thought they were ok, the customer service was over the top. I showed them what I wanted and advised them the length, but when they were done they did not look good. And they burned REALLY bad. I've been getting lash extensions for years and this was the first time it has ever burned, so that cant be good. When I was handed a mirror to see the work, I was not a fan, I didn't say anything and proceed to pay and leave. I choose not to say anything because I liked the customer service but knew that I wouldn't go back to get lashes. A few DAYS later, not weeks, but DAYS the lashes were coming off completely. So I thought that I can go back to get a quick glue on before I have time to get a full set somewhere else and that was bad idea. I called to ask if they have time to fix my lashes and this guy pretty much yelled at me to come in. But I was trying to see if there was a wait because if there was I could come back at a later time, the guy continued to say he doesn't know, and I need to come in and hung up. So that was weird and bad customer service. When I went there was one person getting their nails done so I proceeded to wait, I waited for over 35 minutes for something that took them literally 2 minutes to do. When I was leaving the same guy who yelled at me over the phone then proceed to yell at me and tell me that I need a another full set of lashes, I told him these were new.. so that doesn't make sense and he blamed me for them coming off. I brushed it off because I knew I wouldn't go back. But my personal experience was poor at best. read more

This is SERIOUSLY one of the most professional salons I've been to. The kind owner takes care of their employees just as good as their customers, and the service is not just FAST but AMAZING. I get my eyelashes done here and each time they impress me with the results. Nice, clean spot in Brea. Prices are reasonable and a wide variety of services are available here. I got a Brazilian wax here. The lady was fast and efficient. There are two types of wax they use, I forgot what she described it as - but I ended up paying $25. Very good deal! They also do eyelash extensions and have great deals so I would definitely recommend getting a quote in person. They also give a $5 discount to every student who shows their student ID on services $10 and up. read more

Review is specifically for hair cut: I came in for a groupon deal for a haircut and deep conditioning treatment. Deep conditioning treatment was fine, the woman who cut my hair was friendly. While I was sitting under the heating lamp, she attended to another customer to do eye lashes which I did not mind. She rinsed and we began the cut. I told her I just wanted a trim and a little off of my layers. She cut about two more inches than I asked, which wouldn't be the worst thing other than the layers are the most uneven layers I have ever had. I asked twice to show her where I parted my hair to which she said it did not matter for whatever reason (in the past, I have ALWAYS been asked where I part my hair before a cut). It seemed as if she was snipping whatever she pleased and was not concerned how it related to the other parts of my hair. She was also turning to talk to another employee as she cut my hair. I came home and straightened it to be mortified by how uneven in is. Thus, you may try other services, but I wok definitely not recommend coming in for a haircut. read more

Every other place I've ever been to has ruined my natural lashes,Until here It's been such a relief to finally find a place to do great lashes plus get everything I needed in a one stop shop. When I get a fill she doesn't pull on my own lashes and a false ones fall out only when mine grow out! While this place looked good from the outside, it gave me weird vibes throughout the entire time I was inside. That didn't improve when another person seemed to get some sort of allergic reaction getting her eyebrows or lashes (something with her face) done. I'm hoping to see what her future yelp review will look like. The woman who did my manicure and pedicure was friendly and nice but I'm sorry, that's not enough. The pedicure area was clean but I was grossed out when my manicure was done on a dirty towel with another person's nail clippings on it. There are bubbles in three of my fingernails and a fuzz from the towel literally painted into the nail. I haven't looked at my toes yet. There are many MANY nail salons in this area, and many of them are more affordable with better quality work. $25 gel manicure, $30 gel pedicure, and $5 gel removal. This was my first time trying out this place and I have no interest in returning. ---update five days later, two nails are chipped. A gel manicure should never chip in five days. Ugh. The staff was nice and quiet. I was the only person in there at the time and had to initiate conversation. The flyer for the mani pedi is 35. I got gel and French tip for my mani which ended up costing 55 (35 mani 20 pedi). I was under the impression that the additional cost for gel would of been an extra 10 not and extra 20. My nails came out nice but could of been better. The clean up was not great. I came home and looked at my nails and notice it could of been better. I don't normally get my nails done just a pedi a few times a year is my usual maintenance. When I do get my nails done I get more for my money. I guess that is what I get for trying a new place. No spa massage chairs. You are basically paying for the ambience which is nice but I rather go back to my usual salon (which is not open on Tuesdays and I needed my nails done today). read more

The place is beautiful and the two ladies working were very nice. I waited over an hour for an appointment. In fact, I ran to the post office and the bank while waiting. I was given a free eyebrow threading for my wait. I had purchased a haircut and deep conditioning from Group On. I told her I wanted it layered, but to maintain as much length as possible. While I was under the dryer, she began doing someone's eyelashes. Her assistant proceeds to wash my hair-and absolutely soaks me. My entire right side was doused. STOP, AND READ FIRST!!! Though this place is really clean and really nice it does not mean they have good service. Honestly I don't think anyone there has a cosmetology license, I did not see any licenses on the stations or a visible notice to the consumer posted as required by law. Anyway, I went in for a pedicure and gel manicure. They started off with a pedicure that was the worse I have ever had, if you called it a pedicure. The gal who was working on my pedicure had no clue as to what to do. For one, she couldn't even take the polish of my toe nails. I was just looking at her while she is trying to, not even putting any pressure between the cotton ball and the toes. I was thinking to myself, "lady you need to put more polish removal to that cotton ball and learn how to un-polish my nails." Second she didn't know how to cut toe nails at all. At any time did she ask me to dip my feet in the spa, the whole pedicure was a dry pedicure which it hurt. Mind you they did fill the spa with water and that blue powder. I didn't say anything because I was just waiting for her to see if she would tell me to dip my feet. When she was trying to cut my cuticle it was hurting, I kept telling her and she wouldn't listen. She didn't know to clean nails thoroughly, she didn't know how to scrub my feet, and overall she didn't know sh**. After that whole ordeal and a pretty much weak massage she told me that another gal was going to polish my nails. I found that to be odd, I am thinking "well why don't you just finish it off", but I was like oh well. By this time I had major anxiety, and what I thought would be a relaxing afternoon for me I ended up spending over two hours there for horrible service. After sitting and waiting about 20 minutes later the other gal comes over to polish my nails she then proceeded to put the paper towel between my toes, and then what I thought was odd, she put on my flip flops on my feet. She then began to polish my toes without her even touching or holding onto my feet. She couldn't apply polish on my toes properly and neatly mainly because she couldn't get a good grip on them, she was smearing more polish on my flip flops than anywhere else. After her spending at least 15 minutes polishing my nails I had to wait at least another 30 more minutes before someone else can begin working on my gel manicure. The gal who worked on my hands did a fantastic job, I did forget what her name was. But she seemed irritated with the management and the way I was treated by the two other woman who "worked" on my feet. Lastly when I walked back to the front desk the male manager who was working there at the time apologized about the pedicure and he whispered to me, "I am sorry about the way she did your pedicure, she is new and doesn't know anything, so I wont charge you for the polish and only for the pedicure and manicure". I was like WTF really, wow!! Why the hell would you hire someone who doesn't know who to properly do a pedicure? And what's this about them not charging me for the polish. OMG I was tripping. Their flyers read " YOU DESERVE AN EXPERTS HANDS". Well that's a total like, because one thing they aren't are experts. Like I said, I don't think they have a cosmetology license. I will be very surprised if this place remains open much longer. I give this place a big fat "0", no star. STAY AWAY. Stick with the Asians. read more
