This was a Make-up meal, from my original bad experience previously. I'm not use to giving places anything under a five star rating but of late a number of restaurants, and other places have been less than Mediocre Food, customer service/satisfaction etc. The Sweet Tea, and the dinner rolls that they have here are probably all I'll ever buy. Fun fact: this franchise ONLY offers you a replacement meal, you can't get your money's back. I thought that was hella funny. So even if you Don't Wanna Try the food again, you ARE FORCED TO DO SO. Victoria was the shift manager, and she told me, That I couldn't get my money back. So I was given the same exact thing. Instead of allowing me to try something else on the menu within my original price range. Make it make sense people!!! I'm not a fan of this places fried food options. Okra is stale, the womens bathroom smelled horrible. I've worked in fast food and know how important it is to clean the soda machine nozzles because mold can grow from them and they'll have a certain smell. When I returned to get another batch and pay for new order but done right but was told complaints can't be made a day later. They closed the lobby almost 2 hours before 10:30 when they closed and I was coming to pick up a delivery from uber eats and in the notes it specifically says to go inside to get the order and that the lobby was open. Rudest staff I have ever encountered. I have been waiting two weeks to post this but it's time. So I ordered a 5 piece chicken fingers with fries and a Dr Pepper. I asked for a side of BBQ sauce. While I was ordering the man kept cutting me off trying to guess what I was going to order. When I said BBQ sauce he said Honey mustard, I said no sir BBQ. He said okay. I got to the window he told me total I paid, and this man said here and handed me my stuff and closed the window. No smile, no customer service. Nothing. I look in the bag and he gave me HONEY MUSTARD. It's fine, I go inside to get BBQ sauce and that's when it all went down. I said hey I think you heard me wrong, I wanted BBQ sauce. ( like no big deal right? Apparently not.) This man had the audacity to look me in the idea and say "no you asked for honey mustard." 1st off, I don't like honey mustard at all so why would I ever say that. 2nd, I SAID BBQ. I located Golden Chick after seeing the ads for the state fair corn dogs for sale for a limited time for $5. I assumed it would be the footlong like they sell at the state fair. I also assumed it would be the same kind of corn dog. Boy was I wrong. It was the worst corn dog I have ever tasted and not a foot long. I am not certain why the $5 price tag. Stick to Sonic for corn dogs as this was a waste of $5 for sure. On a good note the guy who worked the drive through was super friendly; hence the 2 stars. read more

Looks like some things have changed. my chicken tenders were cold, they apparently don't make their own honey mustered anymore and the new prepackaged stuff is gross! I usually got 2 homemade honey mustard and now you get 1 small prepacked. they didn't give me any utensils for my side and they changed to paper straws. read more

So I have a medication that has to be taken at a certain time with food so I went through the drive thru at Golden Chick for convenience. It was convenient but I won't make the mistake of going back. Why you ask? Alexis, the incredibly rude employee at the drive up window. How do I know her name? I made a point to call the number on the receipt to ask for a manager just to get it. To start with I needed a cup of water and Alexis hands a full cup out of the window with no lid and no straw. When I asked for a straw her expression showed me her irritation. Then she handed me my card back with no receipt and snapped the window closed before I could ask. Where she handed my food I asked for the receipt and she not so pleasantly told me that it was in my bag. I checked my bag and noticed there was no plastic ware. I don't consider fried okra to be a finger food. I had irritated Alexis more because I hadn't pulled away. When she opened her window back to deal with me, I asked for a fork. She muttered, Oh my God. Alexis is not ready for drive thru. She needs a position where she can't talk to customers. read more

I drove through the drive through thinking I could order a quick kids strips meal for my son and with a baby in the car in 50 degrees weather, I thought I could get the service from the outside that would accommodate me, but I was very wrong. The order taker refused to give me a kids cone in place of a drink which would have been FREE and told me I need to come inside to get the free ice cream cone . This Doesn't make sense to me since I was in the drive thru lane for a reason - baby in the car with 50s temperature outside to just order my food then come inside with my baby just to help myself to the free ice cream cone . If it's going to be such a burden to make that ice cream cone for a paying customer, I will have to burden my money at a different place like CHICK-FIL-A OR CHICKEN EXPRESS . I have home to this locking twice and the order was correct and as I asker. Even no ice in the drink which they can forget or forgetfully skip but they didn't. The chciekn was properly made (also good tasting)and the spicy seasoning was great as any other location. Also every golden chick always given me a straw where chick-fil-a forgets and often on top of that. Its really these little things that are important. Then he turned his back to me to talk to one of his co workers and turned around as he rolled his eyes and looked at me, i had to say thank you for his service instead of the other way around. I called the next day to let the manager Vicki know she told me that she was the one cooking the chicken Friday night and it was done then she asked if I had the chicken I said no I threw it away because it was undercooked she was extremely rude no customer service whatsoever I explained to her that I have the receipt she said u need the chicken and receipt.
