Chicken tenders and rolls what more can u say. Food is ok and fills u up but the service is always a bit odd or just bad. My kids fool me into this one every now and again. There's a 50 50 chance it will make you run for the bathroom after eating. I just wish people in this restaurant would wash there hands would go a long way. read more

Food was great, but workers turned a blind eye towards the indoor vaping from the high school kids. I had a child with me as we were trying to eat. I've given this Golden Chick location many chances. No more. The chicken was served in wet, warping boxes (probably from the chicken itself). All of the gravy was extremely lumpy. Made me wonder if it was still even good? The rolls in the boxes were so squished that they looked like pancakes. The extra rolls we ordered were old and hard. I'm extremely disappointed and will NOT be buying from this location again. read more

I went last night and I ordered 45 dollars worth of food through the drive thru and they said that they had to wait on chicken and asked me to drive up front and park they will bring it to me. I drove and parked up front and waiting 25 minutes for my food I got frustrated walked inside and asked what was going on and they said that they were still waiting on chicken. I asked to speak to the manager and his name was Richardo and he really didn't do anything for me I work in fast food and if a guest is waiting that long for food we do something for them to keep them as a customer. I got home with my take out food. I ordered and paid for 2-4 chicken tender combos. I got home and one box only had two tenders in it. I called the establishment twice and noone ever answered. This is extremely annoying because i live too far to drive back and noone will answer the phone to fix their mistake. read more

One of the best fast food places for Chicken strips. They are always hot and fresh, and good gravy as a side. They are very busy on the weekends, so be patient with the drive through. The only reason I come to golden chick is because my husband loves it. The only thing I eat from here are their corn nuggets. Every single time we are in the drive thru, they 4/5 times forget my corn nuggets. Shame on me for not checking my order but after the 3rd time it became ANNOYING. Anyways, if you're gonna eat here, I recommend you get down because most likely they will get your drive thru order wrong. read more

Golden Chick is delicious! This location usually has very fresh food in a timely manner. We usually order the large family pack and always have extra which is great since the left over chicken goes well in salads/sandwiches/etc. They have later hours (open till 10pm) which allows them to serve full meals later then most in the area and even though they close at 10pm, we have gotten super fresh food at 955pm. read more

I have been going to Golden in Hutto for awhile. 9 years now. there have been times that i stopped. not because food was terrible. The service was a little lacking sometimes. I went for take out tonight and I ordered extra rolls, we love the fresh rolls. The rolls were fresh, yesterday maybe​, they were stale and disappointing. The bad thing with take out is,​ you don't know until you are home already and you really don't want to head out in the rain again. ​The rest of the order was very good though. The food here is always fresh and delicious - every time. Staff is always friendly and helpful and the store is clean. One of the staff knows how much I love sweet tea (I might go there a little too often) and upsized my drink for free once - such a simple thing but shows how nice everyone is.
