Okay it's 10:20pm as l sit here with 1 car behind me and 1 car ahead of me and l am looking at a lady change her babies nappy on the table while l am in the drive through waiting on my order. She obviously either works here, is part of the ownership team or whatever but l just sat here and sat here and saw her change her babies diaper and take her nappy to the back. My father and I went in there on June 2, 2019. We were placing a large order for a birthday party at the last minute. The girl who originally was taking our order was struggling at first and I could sense my father getting agitated. However, the gentleman who came over and took control of the situation (I'm assuming was the manager) did amazing. He got us taken care of and accommodated our large order and many requests. Visited once / won't be back. High prices and when I asked if they had any specials I was told "we don't have specials". Ordered the standard chicken dinner. It was bland and reminded me of convenience store chicken. Food was warm. That's the only positive thing I can say. Place was deserted when I visited. Now I know why.... Update: I got fried chicken this go round as well as another order of Strips for the kids. The Strips are still sub-par, however their fried chicken is quite good. Its enough to get me to come back again and try more of their menu. read more

Golden Chicken in Aubrey on HWY 380 use to be my favorite fast food & some co workers as well. Until the last few times I have visited! The young lady in the drive thru was rude more than once. The chicken strips were decent sized strips in the beginning but now...Their as thin as my pinky finger and as small. I asked the Mgr about the change, she says their using a different Chicken company. Their prices increased but the quality of food & service went down. You pay for any additional sauce over 1 and the serving size of Fries has dwindled down to nothing. I complained about Everything to the Mgr, she downplayed my complaint to it wasn't a big deal. The second my wife and I walked in the door we were greeted by the owner or manager (I assume) and two staff members. They had our orders ready within a few minutes and we were out the door in under 5 minutes. The food was good, not excellent, but I'm not expecting excellent food from a fast food restaurant. I would rate the customer service as outstanding. I've eaten at high end restaurants that didn't provide the level of service and attentiveness that this place did. I hope they keep up the great work and I'm sure they will give other customers a "wow" experience. read more

Would give no stars if I could, I live down the street from here so it's convenient. These people are so rude and don't care about customers at all. They close at 10 but MANAGER locks the door at 9. I was in the drive thru for 45 min. Will not spend any more money here. read more

My family and I are normal customers at your store and there is not s time goes by that you mess up on something on the order or the order is not worth the money I paid,for instance there was not enough fries to kill a cow,I counted 20 fries or less for my order. I ordered the rotisserie chicken. The legs were to small (poor chick )and there were 2 other pieces they were. Small too,to sum this up not worth the price I paid for this meal.,needs bigger pieces. read more

I love golden chicken and I'm stoked they opened across the street from me! I have no complaints thus far from this particular location except to maybe turn up the volume on the speaker outside. This place looks so clean when you enter but buyer beware. I ordered and received my food, I then then told my husband I was going to go wash my hands before eating. There was an employee in the bathroom making a smell, when she exited the stall she left the restroom without washing her hands I assumed she would wash them in the sink behind the counter, I watched she never did, she headed back to the cook area and was handling food. I asked the cashier if the manager happened to be in, I was told she was, then the cashier pointed to the filthy women who doesn't wash her hands. If the manager is disgusting enough to not wash her hands how can you trust the food. We dumped our untouched food in the trash and will never go back. Gross read more

I haven't been in awhile. It seems to have gotten alot better. The chicken tenders were hot and crispy, the rolls are very good, the okra wasnt very crispy though. My son loves it and its across the street so we will eat here. You only get one side and each side is $2 extra so it can add up. One side is not enough. I love the rolls. Chicken strips are slightly below standards, but the fish is very good! I love the fact that they have Manzanita Sol as a fountain drink. The only thing that really ruins this establishment is the employees. Very rude, condescending, and inept at their job. This cannot be attributed to all of their employees, of course, but most. We tried to stop at the place on the other end of the strip. We waited a long time at the hostess stand while we heard them joking around in back, so we left. I've been here on two recent occasions, first time was really great. Second time, it tasted like chicken express which is horrible. The breading just slid right off the tender because it was so greasy. The fries were good tho and the rolls are always excellent. Man I love those rolls. They call my name in my dreams. read more

This is the only place where we get chicken. They put it all together however we want it, which is usually all white. Sometimes we have to wait a bit for them to get what we want cooked, but that's fine with us. The food is always fresh, hot and delicious. Love it! read more
