Very friendly staff, food fresh, very clean 10/10 decently priced for all you can eat!

We drive 30 minutes just to come here it is that good. I love that you can cook your own food at the table & there are already cooked foods & don't forget your amazing sides. The wait staff is always nice & on top of things. There is a ton of seating, all with cooking. They always end your meal with iced cinnamon water, it is so refreshing.

Awesome variety of sides and meats. Pretty good price for the dinner special. And the service is pretty good as well. Probably my go to spot when I don't want to travel too far.

Bon KBBQ is located on Cooper st in Arlington serving the community with and all inclusive serve your self style Korean BBQ experience! We came by on a Saturday morning right after 11am when they opened. We were greeted by the hostess and properly seated in a comfy booth. Inside this fine establishment the ambiance was set high in a fashionable modern setting. The tone was nice and dim with light and soft music playing in the back. The layout was extremely put together well with full bars of uncooked meat, marinated meat and a bar with buffet already prepared items. They also had a cold bar station that serves cold dishes as well such as seaweed salad, kim cheese, and mac salad. The prepared items consisted of plenty of dishes such as chicken wings, fried rice, and fried noodles and many many more to choose from! The meat station was well put together serving your typical pork belly, marinated bulgogi, and many seafood options like squid, shrimp, and mussels. There was also a soup bar that had seaweed soup with chunks of beef bone inside, miso soup, pumpkin soup, and a clear soup along with finely chopped onions for garnish. When we sat down we were also given menus with more cuts of meat! These meats were your typical beef belly, brisket, short ribs. We were told when we simply need service to switch the lamp on and server will be on their way for service. Everything went well and the service provided was superb! The prices were fair and average and the food quality was unbeatable for the prices. I will definitely come back again and try some different cuts of meat along with different dishes. The serve yourself style was great along from ordering off a menu. The meat was well marinated and seasoned and hot foods were kept hot while cold foods stayed cold pertaining to the guidelines of foodservice.

Oh, when it was named another name was my favorite and first Korean barbecue. Under the other name, however it began to degrade, but it was sold and The new owner has made it revive and flourish. I enjoyed all my favorites at the meat bar. There's a large selection of meats that you can get immediately or select meets and select cuts that you can ask for to be delivered to your table. There is far more salads and veg than other Korean barbecue places I've been to. There's also hot and ready food for To Go if you'd like... The wait staff is friendly and helpful and the restaurant is pretty and clean. I recommend.

Excellent KBBQ spot for all your meaty needs. Came for lunch which is probably the best time to come since their menu offers all the meat options that you would want at 18.99$ to satisfy your cravings. They also have a very nice buffet line with various marinated meats, fried chicken, rice, noodles and bonchon dishes. I love it here and is the only place I go to for KBBQ.

Ask the Community - Bon KBBQ

What is the price for kids under 3?

Free! My 2 year old wasn't charged when we went!

Do they take reservations online? Or only via phone calls?

I believe you can call them in. I don't know about online. Check their website and see.

    Is it byob?

    Nope.

    Are there any vegetarian options?

Yes. The soup and the ban chan are vegetarian. But everything that goes on the grill is pretty much meat

Does this place do ayce kbbq for one person or do I need 2 people?

You can for sure do the AYCE with just one person.

Is it good for a family bday party ...about 12 people?

So long as people enjoy meat and Korean food, yes.

Should you make a reservation when going on a Friday night around 7:30?

I'd only recommend it if you are a party of 3 or more. Weekend night do seem pretty busy but not crazy.

    Lunch price on the weekend?

How much is it for the buffet?

For lunch the other day it was about 15 bucks.

What is the price on Sunday?

I believe its the same as dinner prices of $19.99.

The beef belly was sooo yummy and definitely our favorite! The short ribs weren't really our favorite though, they were a little too sweet for us. The servers were all so nice and helpful, especially since it was our first time there. It was also my first time visiting Arlington, so it was nice exploring a little and spending some quality time with hubby. We even bumped into some BTS fans that weekend, which made the trip even more fun! We'll definitely be back!

We went at 6 on a Sunday and it was not packed at all so we didn't have to wait to be seated which was great. Our waitress Emily gave us a quick rundown because we had people in our group who had never done Korean BBQ. Our first round of meat had a hair in it and she kind of ignored that and asked if we still wanted utensils then left. From there we had to flag down other waitresses/ and the manager Harry also came and took an order of meat at one point too. The meats were okay, but we've definitely had better. We tried a variety of meats like the bulgogi, brisket, pineapple steak, Gen steak, honey soy beef and garlic beef. They were all fine. When we were done with our grill, we told our waitress and she asked if we needed anything else... I guess we should have asked for the check because it was another 25 mins before we finally flagged someone down and asked if we could just pay at the front. We did in fact get up and do that, the hostess split our bill 4 ways when we asked for it to be in half. At this point the manager came up and he cancelled the first checks, split it correctly and then our waitress finally came up and asked where table 60 was (which was us). After being there for a few hours she had no idea what any of us looked like and that we were already in the process of paying, she asked her manager if we had skipped out on the check. It would have been easy to do if we weren't good people, but we indeed planned on paying, and were. The manager did apologize for the service we ended up getting as we explained some of the missteps throughout our time there. He was nice about it and apologetic for the hair. Other KBBQ spots offer a small ice cream scoop as a part of your meal, we kind of missed that here. The atmosphere was fine but the lights kept flickering on and off throughout the meal too which was kinda weird because it got very dark at times. Overall, the experience was just okay, but not something I would invite others to experience.

Unfortunately, the experience went downhill from there. Once we were settled, no one came to take our order. We eventually noticed there was a call button, so we pressed it. To make matters worse, we were served old/moldy garlic, and all the cuts of meat were overly thick and tough to eat. On top of that, every time we needed something, we had to press the call button multiple times, usually 3 or 4 times before anyone checks on us. And don't get the hot sake, it's a rip off. Legit 4 small shots for $8.99. Overall, the service and food quality were very disappointing. They probably didn't care to service us because they'll get tipped on a large party regardless. It's located in Hurst in a little strip mall that's mostly empty but you can see the concentration of business and cars in the corner on the side where this restaurant is, when we first walked in we both noticed a bit of a strange smell like I would describe as mildew and I think that's because they were running two portable air conditioner units inside so I don't think this is something that's on the regular and after we sat down neither of us noticed it again. As we walked in I also noticed That this place has a nice little cozy feel to it with some interesting decor, beautiful paintings on the wall and kind of an old school feel which I enjoy, there's an upstairs section that's pretty cool looking also where you can have private events or family style gatherings. Right off the bat the service was very friendly and attentive, we ordered two appetizers the shrimp Yakitori and an order of the pork and vegetable egg rolls both appetizers were fresh and delicious, I also had upon the servers recommendation their honey lemon ice tea which was very good. For our entrees My girlfriend ordered the spicy beef bulgogi and I ordered the spicy pork bulgogi, our food came out in a timely manner and was fresh and hot. The portion size was very good and I was happy to see the ratio of meat to vegetable was about 90% meat to 10% vegetable which is what I expect in a bulgogi.
