the male in the front, who i would assume is the owner, shows amazing hospitality. if there is anything that you need, he will help you immediately. we were also greeted when we entered and wished us farewell. i got the japchae and fried mandu. the mandu had a slight crisp, and accommodated well with the sauce. i would say it is not anything special that i would come back for. same with the japchae. this one was not packed with vegetables like other ones i have tried, so i was able to appreciate the simplicity of this meal. however, it is a little lacking in flavor. the interior is very dark with music playing in the background. perfect for a hangout with friends for lunch. read more

Namoo is a fast casual spot that offers Korean favorites and their speciality being rice bowls. I've been here many times before and everything in the menu is delicious! After you order yoy can treat yourself to some seaweed soup and wait brief moment before you food comes out (banchan included). The food is fresh and plated like you're a special guest. It tastes great, especially the vegetables which as I'm typing it sounds weird for me but it's true. While definitely not lacking in flavor, the only thing holding Namoo back is portion sizes. I love having a variety of sides included to give my meal variety. The bowl wasn't over-filled with rice the way some counter service places will do. There was a hearty portion of meat and sides instead, in the cute wooden bowl. The "picki bowl" option for folks avoiding vegetables is a cute gimmick, but people, try the vegetables! They are yummy. Im so glad I found this gem! Absolutely delicious! I got the Seoul one day and the Porkipoki another day, both incredibly amazing. The crisp for the Porkipoki was indescribable ‍. I didnt know where to eat for lunch so I used Yelp's "Surprise Me" button where they give you restaurant recommendations nearby I ordered to go during lunch. It is located in a nice area in Arlington by UTA area. It is spacious inside for you to sit down and eat. The food was good but not great, I wish the ribeye had more flavor. I love that the bowl comes with a variety of items like eggs rolls, korean noodles and a side of mix salad. The mix salad is plentiful but just dry because they do not give you any sauce to go with it so you are just eating the greens dry. My plate was cold when I got back to work and my drive back was only 10minutes. I am not sure if i will try again, the price for the Seoul was $14.95. read more

Found this place on the Yelp search. Cute little restaurant in Arlington. Ample parking is available in front and behind the restaurant. Order at the counter and open seating at the picnic tables. Pretty solid Korean food! I didn't have high expectations for a Korean place that's not in Carrollton (aka Dallas Koreatown), so this was a pleasant surprise! Got the bibimbap bowl, and it was pretty good. Lots of picnic table seating, which is a personal favorite seating of mine. There's street parking and some spots in front of the restaurant, and I didn't have a problem finding parking. Even with following GPS, it took us to the back parking lot. It's tucked inside a small strip, just follow GPS. We ordered and then waited in the car to pick up. This should be stated on the menu. Please update your menu accordingly so people know exactly what they're getting when they place an order. Additionally, no one tried to help rectify the issue even after I inquired about it. The customer service was bad as well. read more

As someone who is allergic to both sesame and peanut, I have a hard time finding Korean restaurants where I can eat anything on the menu. Namoo came through with a LOT of food I could eat. First, it seems like there's definitely some Japanese influence on the food (I love Japanese as well), but there were many easily-identifiable Korean dishes that I love on their menu. The service was great, and they were sure to let me know which dishes I needed to avoid because of my allergies. After we ordered our food, we sat for only a few minutes while they prepped our order. Everything came out pretty quickly and it looked great. The Yaki Mandu was definitely freshly fried and was super crunchy on the outside and moist and hot on the inside. The Gangnam was flavorful and tender - even with it being chicken breast. The Porkipoki was nicely crisped and tasted great. Overall, I was happy to get some banchan with the dishes, and will definitely be back. We had a great experience, and I want to try the whole menu - at least everything that I'm able to. read more

I ate lunch here the other day, and while I would have loved to try everything in the menu, I had a seaweed salad and a Chashu Baby bowl (pork belly perfection) and we also got a Do You Know Tofu bowl as well. Equally delicious! This can be a perfect meal for lunch as the bowls are light, ridiculously fresh, so tasty... or a fun dinner where you can try lots of different things! My wife and I came here for a quick lunch while in Arlington. The serve was okay. It was the first time we had ground beef in a bibimbop and in the japchae. The rice cake sauce was not balanced and the hoisin sauce was very strong. Fortunately, the short ribs tasted pretty good. They did not have diet sodas available, but they did give free bottle water.
